seems like a legit way to act if you were turned to stone by your kin and left inside your own mind for 1000 years, if the fic '1,000 years' is anything to go by. I'm sure when they've all time to cool off they could talk this all out later. Then again that rated m along with the tags make me less skeptical of them talking this out peacefully.
