Ok you've at least gotten my attention.

"I can't as part of my punishment after the Fall Formal and my deal for living in Principal Celestia's house." Sunset said. "I'm not allowed to have an account until after New Year's and Vice Principal Luna set it up so there is a parental block on most of the internet which means I'm mostly stuck with text messaging and sites they approve of until after the first. They even check my phone regularly just to make sure, so they would know if I broke my promise." She then sighed and said, "They might have eased up a lot after the Battle of the Bands, but I'm not going to risk a warm bed and a roof over my head just to stir up trouble."

Huh... Interesting twist. An Anon-A-Miss story where Sunset has an alibi. A refreshing change of pace, a school full of tension and anxiety because of a mysterious holder and spiller of secrets is enough of a conflict on its own that it doesn't have to be paired with Sunset getting royally fucked over. Easy to admit in hindsight, and yet I never would have considered it if I didn't see it.

So it seems it's possibly faculty with connections to the BoE that are behind Anon-A-Miss. Or not I'm still having a hard time following everything.

So, are the Sirens Anon-A-Miss here? I remember a previous chapter mentioning a trio of voices talking about a plan not working being those of young women, and I assumed at the time they were saying Sunset Shimmer wasn't being harassed at all angles for 'being' Anon-A-Miss. At the time, it didn't occur to me that the voices were being loosely described as 'not the Crusaders'. If it is the Sirens, bravo. Based on their appearance in Sunset's Backstage Pass, this makes sense if it still falls into the same general timeframe as the Anon-A-Miss incident from the comics, despite the change in circumstances. Totally believable that they'd be at a point where they'd be as petty as necessary to get some payback.

I skimmed this chapter when I saw it was all humans (or something) and all dialogue and no character I know or care about. That’s tough to start as an opening for this reader.
If you’re open to criticism, all of this could be better introduced more naturally in the story so the reader won’t be inundated with exposition and to make ya care for who they are.

What's this, a Zephyr Breeze that isn't portrayed as a complete loser? Color me impressed.

"Hi Sunset!
