Ah, so destroy everyone plan in the worst way, then expose Anon-A-Miss. Now, when it comes to mob mentality, they would go after a more vulnerable target. In X-Men, the FRIENDS OF HUMANITY go after Mutants they know won't kill humans. So, when Sunset shows she's a bigger bitch, the school turns on Anon-A-Miss since it'll just be easier.
Okay, now I did not see that coming, I thought the Sirens were sea-ponies that got turned into Sirens, not a Pegasus, Unicorn and Crystal Pony before they became sirens, also that last bit in the author note about a pirate more crazy then Jack Sparrow, I doubt that, Jack is the most Crazy Pirate EVER, no one can stop the Famous Crazy Captain Jack Sparrow, even Davy Jones Locker couldn't keep him down so no other pirate would be able to stand up against him.

A) there is an Alternate Universe Tag for a reason and there is another story on this site where King Sombra was the one who turn them from crystal ponies into the Sirens to use them as part of his evil plans.

see that would be small scale stuff, if she has a stash truly worth a safety deposit box, those are truly life destroying secrets, that means blackmail and extortion to degree's that can only be described as beautifully excessive.

I hope that one of those life destroying secrets is Rainbow Dash's.
A nasty option would be for Sunset to not reveal who Anon-a-miss is until after she's nuked their families, then use that last revelation to drive the final nail into the coffin for their familial relationships. Something like a typed note addressed to the entire Apple family, delivered as they watch the Flim Flam brothers put up the new sign over the gate of their former property saying something like this:
Dear Applebloom, AKA Anon-a-miss,
That was how it is done properly, unlike your clumsy efforts.

Information is power. She has information that is far more damaging than anything that Anon A Miss has done. Oh this is always a unique option! I'm looking forward to see what she does and have favorited. This is going to be unique. I'm also enjoying what you've done with the Sirens, putting them on both sides of the spectrum.

As for the Sirens: Sometimes the world needs someone to save it from both the heroes and the villains themselves
medusa was the only gorgon who turned others to stone, it was part of the curse directed only at her.
also the grey sisters and the fates where not the same entity despite common opinion, well the grey sisters had great insight into many matters regarding past present and future, they where children of echidna and considered to be inhuman monsters. the fates however looked like ordinary women, they where goddesses who looked after the life threads.
as for secrets, i think if sunsets going this route (which i fully approve of) i think it needs to be shown how badly she could ruin her so called friends. they made the mistake of comparing a hand-grenade to a hydrogen bombs, lets see sunset correct that, make the first secrets about her friends directly.
pinkie's family is practically amish so why not start there?

Okay, I have just one problem with this.
How the hell did the Sirens even lose to an amateur garage band, if they're so incredibly skilled and experienced?

Overconfidence and the fact that magically their an out of shape professional boxer just coming back from a long vacation verses an in shape up and coming amateur. Yes, they have experience, but they haven't used it in a while. Meanwhile Twilight has been slinging spells regularly and has several wins under her belt. Plus they handicapped themselves by only using their voices and magic while the girls used instruments as well as their voices and magic.
Without the magical power boost they needed they couldn't risk drawing attention to themselves from the other magical beings on earth. Plus they had to change homes and id's regularly to avoid problems from being immortals in a world full of mortals. Constantly changing lives meant they had to let what ever political power they gained die with that life. The Rich family is one of the few exceptions and has only gained from knowing the Sirens over the generations, in between different lives of course.

Who says they aren't rich already? I mean they live in a mansion, drive a car that can out preform a cop car in a chase, have some kind of custom computer in the basement called the monster, has it so the Chinese government owes them a few favors, and a music studio fill with all sorts of musical instruments.
