Why is the convention center that huge? What bearing does it have on the story? Besides the fact it's a ridiculous premise, it makes no other sense.

Well, I think you might want to include the Comedy/Random tags on this story. If it weren’t for me going through the comments and learning this was made for shits and giggles, I’d be really confused. It was indeed a bizarre read that made me laugh here and there at its premise. A funny thing is that it had a rather nice flow and grammar as opposed to many other stories of the same genre.
