Well so there are tsuki in other places maybe variations as rabbits tend to have ears the same length as most of their breed so Angel is a breed that has floppy ears.
So that's where his name comes from. Makes it feel less cringy, and more just slightly weird. Angel and Prince are just cute together.

I did look back at the start of the stories involving these rabbits though Toby's ears flop back they act the same as a normal rabbit's(that's what it looks like to me) his ears follow his head back but can stick up when something grabs his attention Angel's ears on the other hand flop straight to the floor and are far longer than any of the pictures of Toby that I have seen have shown Toby's ears to be

Cutie marks don't appear until later in life, when he realized what magic he could work with trash, and got the golden trashcan.
His parents weren't that far off. Golden Lash was obviously misheard from Golden Trash.
I have to say I do like hiw wholesome the two of them are together. Though I have to wonder how they're going to make things work, what qith them having the same bits.
Huh, now that is rather interesting. Given his physical gender isn't his original one, could he really be called transgender? Food for thought. Also, the obvious somution us to cast the same spell in Angel. He has female parts, so gove her male parts. Problem solved.

I'm not saying he is or isn't something, but rather raising a question for the purposes of provoking thought, given that with magic involved and how he came to his current state it seems to differ somewhat from what one typically calls transgendered.
Mostly because he was born physically male and identified as such. Then a magical mishap happened, altering his sex. However his gender identity remained the same, so as he still identifies what he was born as, causing him to differ from the standard definition of transgender. Specifically when your gender (identifying as male/female) is the opposite of what sex (physical form) you had at birth.

So late, but it hits me that magic made him transgender because he suddenly didn't identify with his physical sex. 'what you were born with' is a modern earthism, because we have no way, in modern earth, to change someone's physical sex. If we could literally just pop someone into being female or male, completely, things would be different. Instead we just kinda do a sloppy mod job.

Celestia seems to be very biased against trash prince not even letting him defend himself and even though she knows what his cutie mark means she still decides that he MUST have stolen the jewelry that is in his room from a single noble pony's testament even though the nobles are known to be lying piles of crap

The stolen goods literally being right there leaves few options. It could have been Angel! But she is little more than a lost child in Celestia's eyes, and wasn't even considered.
I can understand Celestia being exasperated with Trash and his strange hobbies after he replaced that one whole room, but this seems entirely out of character for her and seems to only have gone down the way it did to make her look heartless.

How bad are you expecting things in this story to get to require an M rating? Because what I've read so far doesn't seem bad enough for that maybe deserving of the sex tag but not the M rating

There were several moments of 'let's examine genitals' and thoughts about them, and breeding. This is not a G story by even a faint shadow of a laugh.
Its good to see Angel learning a different way to survive without stealing even if trash had to be kicked out of Celestia's care for her to start learning it

Trash and Angel are adorable together as usual, but Celestia seem somewhat lacking and bland, lacking feeling. After how they were thrown out it feels like none of what she says has any meaning or effect to bridge the gap between them she made.

I... admit confusion. She acknowledged she was wrong. She apologized. She praised his new profession. She bought one of his creations (which she overpaid for and it was unlikely to be a mistake). She called him by the name she had refused to call him repeatedly through the rest of the story. What more does she need to do? Trash has moved on, and she is very happy, for him, and with him.

Her reaction/response feels too subdued. He still feels cast out and blamed to me, given he hasn't had his royal status restored after having it wrongly stripped. That and Celestia feels like she's reading from a script, saying it without meaning it.
Edit: when throwing him out she was particularly vitriolic and her apology by comparison seems lacking in emotion/sincerity. This makes it seem insufficient, plus there is still them never having communicated with each other.
Great ending. Glad Celestia learned the truth.
