A sixteen-year-old Flurry Heart meets King Sombra the only prisoner of the Crystal Empire. She questions him about his life and about the Empire when he lived in it. All while lying to her parents about what she's doing, since she thinks all the information will benefit the empire.
Hope you read Fiendship is magic book 1, cause this story does include elements from the comic. It's also a good read.

Congrats! You get a like.
Reminds me of the current season of The Flash TV series.
I would love to see Flurry and Sombra falling in love and become the new rulers of the empire
Looks good so far, I'm interested :3
Interesting
Seems promising.
I'm curious to see where it goes.
Suggestion:
Consider adding horizontal lines between scene changes (the ones like below this sentence).
That improves (in my opinion) the readability.
I believe Flurry's coat color is rather like this one (F8ECF8).
Also, Cadance has this one (EBAFD1).
Sombra and Flurry as a couple.
: "Not sure if I should be proud of you. I mean, research in the library itself is great, but about the purpose..."
Good chapter!
I'm curious to see what happens next.
Also, this story reminds me of this one:

It's always nice to see a fic updated again and a really good one like this one.
: "I know that feeling! Happens to me all the time!"
: "Indeed. Sometimes I have to carry you to bed, since you're unable to walk yourself..."
Entering an ancient tunnel and making sure no one will find her?
What could possibly go wrong?
I had the same thought when this story got updated.
What would happen if someone uses the magic for too long?
Would they harm themselves, or would the magic corrupt them, turning them evil?
Good (and admittedly unexpected) chapter!
I enjoyed reading it.
One small note though:
I believe the first pink line isn't actually a sentence spoken by Flurry, but from her father. Consider re-checking it.
Is Ira not wasted in this story?
Cadance: "Maybe it is after all possible to spend to much time with Twilight..."
I'm sure it's still more entertaining than the other guards.
Good luck explaining this to your parents!
Except Grogar was Discord in disguised to create a event where Twilight beat them to gain confidence to be Rule of Equestria. Still don't understand why viewers forgave that traitor. He literally committed treason and got all of Equestria destroyed
Fair enough.
They could give him some puzzles or something.
As can everyone else.
Except they won't admire them but rather start asking difficult questions...
In the official comics Spike also mentioned this pattern, noting this must have been a busy time a millennium ago.
: "I know should have gotten used to this by now, but still..."
At least the figure didn't see who this somepony is...

True, but I did write this before the ending took place, so were in a parallel world. But that reveal was a letdown, would have preferred it if it was actually Grogar.
Quite an interesting story, I really enjoyed it)))) I am very much looking forward to the sequel))))
