The eternal search for an editor/pre-reader never ends. Also trying to improve my writing every day.

T

Every villain has a beginning. Are few the creatures in our world which are inherently evil and hurtful. And one of the most infamous villains in the history of Equestria is Cozy Glow.
So young, yet her heart filled with such desire and greed for power that only the appreciation of the Lord of Chaos for the unpredictable can compare.
If she seeks for something, she gets it.
She hid her tracks and manipulated the situation, blaming the others for her crimes. But one day she had an eye bigger than her belly and lost.
Now, defeated, yet filled with hubris for her feats, she decides to tell her history. Because like many other villains, she wasn't born a monster. Like many others villains, she is one because of the world and is the world to blame.

Uh, what’s up with that title?

That's ‘cause I was planning this to be a one-shot, together with two others one-shots, one for Chrysalis and Tirek. But soon it became clear that the story was becoming to length to be a one-shot (I consider 10k words a maximum for one-shots).
It was going to be: What makes a villain a villain Cozy, Tirek ou Chrysalis.
So I kept the title and the name of the villain and added their idea of power, in Cozy’s case it’s manipulation.

Taking a look before reading, as this looks interesting.
"She is one because of the world. And the world is to blame"
Aye, if you look at any villain, real or fictional, they try and justify their actions and blame it on the world. That doesn't explain it, given they made the choice to do what they did. They could have stopped, thought, reevaluated their situation. Instead they continued with their negative actions. There fore, the world is only partly to blame. The rest lies on the villain.

What exactly is manipullation? What's getting pulled, and why is it being pulled in the first place?

I think Bezier is referring to thr typo.

More than just that. I mean, it’s kind of a mouthful, ain’t it?

Not as much as Super Trampoline’s fic titles, but still.

I think the key difference is Trampoline's ridiculously long titles are part of the joke. Besides, some real works have very long names, such as

Striking and Picturesque Delineations of the Grand, Beautiful, Wonderful, and Interesting Scenery Around Loch-Earn

While interesting this story could use an editor...

Did Cozy make all that up?
