How confusing will this story be? I won't read it if it's too confusing.

Confusing is more to where each Track flows in the timeline, and I know some people might get lost on this.
Each Track is a story on its own, they may reference things from other Tracks that have come, or events yet to be seen. Think of movies like Sin City, Trick r Treat, or Pulp Fiction, where they tell different stories that will all connect by the end of the Album.
The individual Tracks are not confusing themselves, and hopefully the story it self is not confusing.

What's the source inspiration?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhtrnNzWTOw is the song. Every track is titled after the song is was inspired by, all by Sylphstorm. Some songs I listen to are older versions, as I lost internet for many years, and only had those MP3 to listen too. Many of the tracks, though, are not really directly related to the songs or the episode(s) that inspired the song originally.
I pull a lot of the episode quotes for this: one, to play off the "Previously" that TV shows (this case, Next Generation) use. Two, to give an idea of how differently the timeline has diverged. It is a bit of a mind F for Twilight, seeing herself in current and future events of another life.
Not easy to give a simple answer, as I was doing these on breaks at work, and just doing what came to mind as I wrote or listened to the "album" I had made for songs, with some influences from the show. Also been a few years since I wrote this originally, so I have been relearning the story as I type it out.

Oh man.....for second there, I thought the author was pulling some sort of deus ex machina bullfuckery, but no, that's not the case. It's just Twilight Sparkle going completely insane and lost herself in a fantasy world of her own making. 😅😅😅😅😅
