Just think a year and some change ago things were business as usual, now though I can barely remember what it was like to not have fight everyday just to survive. Its been a long year and a hard winter hopefully I can get a break sometime soon.

Still loving the story. The P.T.S.D. flashbacks are an excellent touch. Makes him seem more relatable.
I have a big test tomorrow so i will wait with this chapter, but I’ll be sure to read it after I am done with the test, it will be something to look forward to.
FINALLY after so long i came back from the dead and found this masterpiece awaiting me
thank you so much
could have, should have, would have.
or could've, should've, would've.
sway? As in persuade?
Two speakers in one paragraph. You missed a newline.
You want feigning (faking, or insincere) and not fainting (passing out)
Why did you make the chapters so long?
8861143
Because I am a fool.

Can always count on you to point out my obvious mistakes, thanks a lot man, I'll get on those here soon.

Glad you enjoy the story enough to look forward to read it. I'm honestly surprised anyone enjoys this thing I pulled outta thin air.
MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great chapter as always. But it appears that you dropped several words in several different sentences.
You lad have a gift with the pen so I do ask don’t let the story die like many others I’ve enjoyed spent a solid 8 hours reading from chapter on to the last so far and just found it this morning

I still don't know how I manage to do that. I catch myself doing it from time to time, but still some slip through.
8861688
I honestly have no idea how I'm gonna end this story, so it may be a long while.
Heh, I just noticed something, you published this story on my Birthday last year. Anyways, great story and I hope to see more chaps in the future. Take your time though so its like your previous chaps, great and fluid.
story really good my dude I hope you keep up the good work
Booyah!
Another chapter >:)

Even if that was the case, the key word here is 'Zombie'. A living human may lack the jaw strength to do any real damage to a leather duster (provided that it's in good condition, which considering that this is a post apocalypse scenario...), but one of the defining traits of zombies is that no matter what type they are -whether they're slow or fast, created through science or the supernatural- they are freakishly strong. Mostly because even if the flesh is decaying, zombies don't have that pesky survival trait that limits the amount of force we can use in an attempt to keep us from tearing our muscles apart through sheer exertion. Because of this, they're able to use 100% of their potential strength, even if they end up damaging themselves in the process.
Then again, considering that we're debating whether or not a frickin' zombie biting through a leather duster in an MLP fanfiction is realistic, I'd say that everyone involved is taking this a bit too seriously.
Come on, has nobody heard of suspension of disbelief?
P.S.- None taken. I was never really invested, I was just slightly annoyed that someone was actually nitpicking the physical realism of such an obviously surreal situation.
8865768 The story was deserving of an honest, constructive critique, so I did my best to supply one. It continues to be a story for which I anticipate the chapters with bated breath and eager, sweating palms.
thank you for that nice and short chapter.
Exactly what I needed after the last few days.
Have a piece Baumkuchen and some Grog.
This by far one of my favorite stories. I look forward to reading more! Thanks k you for sharing this!
I think I've found my new favorite story, one where the main character truly isn't afraid to get his hands bloody In my eyes what sets this story apart from the others I've seen, is the fact that this main character doesn't just accept that he has to kill, he enjoys it, thrives off of it, and lets it be apart of him. It honestly annoys me when a strong and powerful character is brought to their knees by their own need to over rationalize killing an enemy, even when the enemy was someone that truly deserved to die. There's morals, and then there's just being to damn over-emotional, and what I absolutely love about Hank is that he has enough common sense to not get upset when killing others, it's just a true breath of fresh air to me.
Keep up the good work

Glad you like it. I too found myself cursing at the screen when a previously badass common sense character got "reformed" or broke down and started crying or something about how they kill too much. I've put down stories because of it honestly. I know killing isn't the solution to all problems (Hope I've written Hank so he shows he knows this too) but I find it completely stupid when a character gets hung up on killing a obviously bad person. Hank will never do that, ever.
8873430
You have, it's pretty clear that while he might be violent, he recognizes that there are times where killing isn't necessary. The fact that he recognizes that and doesn't get hung up on the times he does end up killing is absolutely refreshing.

I've done well in that regard then, splendid.
we're not even 10 paragraphs into the next chapter... why is this a point of contention?

This the curse of dummy thicc
9903156
As bizarre as it is, I find it kinda interesting simply because it is so bizarre. Of course, not everyone is going to like something strange like that but to each their own.
10873933
Bizarre is a great compliment. If something is bizarre its most likely not boring, so thank you. I will add it to my writing resume.
I’d say this is going well. While I do hope there are romance elements at some point, this story has a good detailing. Framer could use a little editing but it’s not off putting.

Romance does indeed happen. Just takes a while. You'll get there.
MC is having a hard time adjusting to this new environment, but there are quite a few elements making it harder for him to do so.
