Can't wait for the next one, Kudz.
Thanks to Sumac, we know there were more powerful unicorns back then.
The horrendous hypothesis resurfaces...
Or not. Those who forget the mistakes of the past are condemned to repeat them.
Maybe making Skyreach's horrors public would help taking a peg down or two to those supremacist assholes around, like an Holocaust Museum.

And that is the sort of sentiment I hoped to inspire with the closing line of the chapter.
Thank you.
I mean that.
Goodness! Still here with you. What a ride. Thanks Kudzu
Those poor ponies..

Yeah. You write that book, Daring.
RUN DASH before....oops too late!

Can't imagine this is the first time Darling either whitewashed or never put an adventure into a book. Though in some cases putting something into a book might help more people find it fictional
So, what's the origination for the name of Skyreach?
8108380 I wouldn't say that. Something like that would be easily seen. Not to mention them being able to breed a lot, wouldn't really put them as superior.
Now Hidden Intelligence on the other hand that shows them to be smarter than even the haughtier Unicorns...THAT would be something to fight about.
Firstly, that title was rather ominous.
Secondly, it is possible that Sumac's hypothesis comes into play here.
Thirdly, like Raistlin said, "Those who forget the mistakes of the past are condemned to repeat them." I am inclined to agree with him granted that when these mistakes are pointed out, people actually want to learn and implement prevention measures. Sure there will be a few who will learn and follow through on their promises; however, in my experience there will be many more people who just make noise.
Lastly, the crystal rod induces a feeling of dread and nervous anticipation. Of course, I would like to listen to it however, "curiosity killed the cat". Plus, do I really want to live with what I hear? Do I want to have that emotional investment?

I know I do :'D
8108405 For many it would drive them off from trying.
for others though, they would dare be inspired by it. With enough delusion, absolute horror can be seen as divine itnervention.
Nuts. They're not gonna get the Spare No Rod achievement this playthrough.
But I want to know the story, even if it's probably horrifying.

I would love to know what was in the crystal rod...what horrifying story was behind what happened of the pony...
I swear, no books I've read have given me chills like this.
Great job so far 👍🏻
This whole thing strongly reminds me of the lonesome road DLC for fallout new Vegas.
That DLC was fucking awesome, and so is this.
the old pegasus mind trick.
