This story is part of a series, the Fluttershy's Dark Sky quintology. This is the finale of what was originally meant to only be a trilogy of experimental parody stories. The plots of all three are bizarre and unconventional because that was originally the point of the series, to subtly lampoon the stupidity of bad writing tropes in "deep, edgy, complicated stories" and show how easily nonsense can be sold as serious. Essentially, this is the kind of thing to read along casually and laugh at, something like Bo-bo-bo-bo Bo-bobo.
