Sunny Starscout and her friends work on a movie about pirates to promote a new ride at the summer Maretime Bay Day festival, hoping to attract more ponies from Bridlewood Forest and Zephyr Heights. However, Sunny fears that commercialism will undermine their efforts as Pipp takes product placement to a new level after a magical mishap on set.

You know, despite the on-paper randomness of the plot, this feels like it could be an episode of MYM, so well done! Also:

“It could be worse.” Hitch replied sheepishly. “As the sheriff, I can at least vouch for the fact that we’re not doing anything illegal.”

Now Hitch, we love you, but if you have to say "at least it's not illegal," you need to rethink what you are doing.

This episode is written to feel more like an episode of Tell Your Tale, so I will take that as a compliment. And Hitch knows that the law isn't a perfect moral guideline, he just wants a good basis for believing that he and his friends shouldn't feel guilty about doing something slightly dubious. His belief that the drinks aren't going to hurt any pony, founded on the fact that magic glitter has never hurt any pony, is part of that basis.
