Twilight finds herself alone in the Everfree Forest after dark, and is aware of something following her. Something tall, something with no face, is after her. But is it the only thing she has to worry about?

Your prose is good, but why a headless horse? And how can a physical attack kill Slenderman? Hasn't it been established that he can't be killed by things like that?

He's supposed to be the 'Headless Horse', from Twilight's ghost story in Look Before You Sleep. This was mostly written because of an idea I had that explained why the Slender-Mane is so tall, which is to protect his only weak spot. (I've noticed that all magical beings have a weakness of some sort, and decided that he needed one.)

I do like the justification for that, even if the end result seems a little random.
You're right about Slendy needing a canon weakness too. The guy is seriously like a Gary Stu of the supernatural, even if Marble Hornets trademarked the 'water weakness'
