A devastating fire in the library where she worked and the resulting deaths of five girls has caused young librarian Twyla Sparks to go over the edge. Dr. Stephen Pike, Twyla’s supervising psychiatrist, believes her to be mostly harmless, and that there is hope to snap her out of it, if only he can get her transferred away from the confining halls of Pennville Sanitorium. But there's a few hitches... And having Twlya believe she's a unicorn is a major hitch.

This has the potential to be amazing.

Let me add this to some groups and see if we can't get some more movement on it, eh?

Dude. I would appreciate that so much.

Ok this needs to continue, this would be a horrible waist of a setup if left as a one shot.

Damn, that was so dark that dark doesn't even begin to describe it. I hate to say it but it was great and I'd love to read anything similar. The one that really got me was Rainbow Dash, just brutal.

Quite an enrapturing narrative you've built here! I'd definitely love to see more of it. Very well done.

Well, hey there, everybody. Just thought I’d drop by with a comment saying that I’m glad to finally see this go up. I remember EI telling me about this sort of thing about 200 years ago on FanFiction.Net and, well, at some point I thought it was never going to go up. In fact, that’s probably exactly what I thought the last time I thought about it, because I’d totally forgotten this was a thing when it was finally uploaded, so it was a nice surprise to see it. It’s pretty good, too, though having spent a while reading them Rage Reviews, something in the back of my mind is telling me to say words about reader immersion. However, I’m not that good with giving criticism (or at least I think I’m not), so I’ll skip out on it. I mean, hey, to some, giving bad criticism is worse than giving none at all.

What I will say, though, is that I made the cover art, based on the cover of the Sparks album Lil’ Beethoven. That’s actually the cover art for the FanFiction.Net version, since the FIMFiction one is a square (600x600, I think). I remember trying to make one based on Absolutely Free by The Mothers Of Invention for the FIMFiction publication, but EI obviously ended up liking that one better. Despite the fact that it misspells Pennville. Huh.

Anyways, bottom line, it’s great to finally see this up and going and I hope to see more of it sometime. I’d have said “soon” in there, but there’s no need to rush.
