Rarity's reasoning is plain stupid
When I read the description, I was a little skeptical. Rainbow Dash (and technically the others) leaving Pinkie and Rarity at the end of The Last Roundup is a scene that I find especially disgusting. Therefore, I expect fics that address the issue to do so very seriously because it is an issue that I take very seriously. The Comedy made me a little nervous.
After reading the story, though, I found it surprisingly satisfying. It was light-hearted but it didn't treat the incident as a joke either. I felt that Rarity remained righteous throughout, even when she mellowed down at the end.
You have my upvote, my fav, and my follow.
I'm torn between whether or not I should favorite this...
On one hand: The part where Rainbow felt tortured by what Rarity was doing to her didn't sit right with me.
On the other hand... that ending was pretty sweet and heartfelt
...Eh screw it, the ending makes it worth it.
I like it. It almost seems like it could possibly be cannon. Really great story. Good job.
