...you know, I've seen people here handle this in a lot of ways. From the princesses literally swinging around a nonillion-ton fusion furnace like it was a tennis ball to the sky being the outer boundary of the entire pony universe. This one, though, has to be topping the list as the weirdest.

It also has to be one of the funniest by implication. Nightmare Moon could literally have had the night last forever and most of the world wouldn't even have noticed. If that isn't comical, I don't know what is.

Still not sure how I feel about the situation, or how I expect the story to go. Kudos for making a story so rife with inner conflict, I definitely empathize with most of the characters.

Ebony concentrated and gently lifted Twilight from off the floor. The crystals sprouting from the young unicorn’s body radiated unfamiliar magic which predictably lashed out at Ebony’s aura, but there was also magic coming off them that was very similar to Nightmare Moon’s aura.

It's amazing that Vinyl somehow managed to befriend and bring out genuine emotions for others from the literal nightmare horror that is Nightmare Moon.
