Im going to stab you. Just saying.
?????
So these robot things were probes?
6360184 No. A probe would have been given regular maintenance and kept safe. The Wisp Knights aren't even worth that.
6360212 So it's more like a penal battalion. You arm them, send them on missions until they break, and then make/recruit more.
6370754 I've never read any of the tie-in comics nor seen most of the covers, so if there's actually a similarity, then it's pure coincidence. Stone grasshoppers came to mind because I was imagining them as different colours one dreary and boring afternoon.
Not sure if this story way planned out in it's entirety but I keep trying to puzzle it out. And since canon events are still happening, I wonder just how badly Equestria is going to be bucked when He gets loose and starts absorbing magic-- in addition to the concurrent Entropic Fissures that drop a homicidal armored humanoid now and again. It's like painting one's self into a corner and realizing that you're trapped with only a bad ending looming for all.
This is assuming we aren't picking and choosing our lore, such as deciding the Dire Seeds Discord dropped never happened.
It'll have to be a very, very bad situation before I can expect Nightmare Moon to realize she's in over her head. Would she abandon Equestra to it's fate? The scene with Siri explains it all.
And the promise of a boon she got from Twilight, I can almost bet it's so she can jump into the alicorn should the Princesses get loose and come after her. Reason being the Elements would be useless without Twilight and Celestia would never harm Twilight. Hmm, always an ace up the sleave with that crafty witch...
Needless to say, damn, this is such an engrossing story. Yes, a bit like a trainwreck that you just can't stop from watching, but so very interesting. It's rare I get to see Good lose and drop the world of problems in Bad's lap and say, "Good luck, it's your mess now!" and walk off.
IT BEGINS
Okay, what the heck. This kind of chapter literally right after I comment about loss of interest.
Oh.
