Hmm, so the enemy of my enemy is my friend... or so hopes the rebel ponies and Princesses over in ponyville- er, once they learn of this newest snag in the space-time continuum. On the other hand, the visitors might just hate all ponies equally, turning the war into a three-sided. The need for unicorns, irreguardless of age, was a bit disconcerting. They're assuming any unicorn can be thrown at their problem to fix it? A little short-sighted and nieve if you ask me. Then again, Nightmare Moon is impossible to kill and difficult to put down temporarily (not to mention all the pony guards assembled) so these Knights will get their metal butts handed to them before retreating.

And what of dear Twilight? Is she doomed to become some dark crystal pony like a horrific Sombra-wannabe? And what of Celestia's private chat about using those crystals to make her immortal? Twilight's not dead so... did it work? Or did it not and it's become a dark crystal cancer, slowly eating her up from the inside? (Oof, kinda grimdark right there)

It'd be really twisted of there was a synergistic reaction later and it causes Twilight to ascend. Question then would be; for the light or the dark, and would she maintain her sanity?

I don't mean this cruelly, but finally something happens that pulls the story together in my mind, up 'til now I was having trouble following it, wondering why things were happening... it was getting so convoluted in my thoughts that I was pretty close to un-favourite-ing it. Glad I hung on though.

Hey, I can't believe I've never commented on this before, I'm gonna do that now.

Alright so first I don't like the portal human invasion thingy, I feel as if it's out of place and even distracting at times. I think humans invading made it a bit to out-of-place to not be off-putting. Now I also don't like... wait what that's it?

This fic as so many pros to its cons it's flopping amazing! I love the slight emotion Nightmare has it's great. I love your version of alicorns. I love the banter between twilight and sunset. I love the science, though I feel half is bull flop. All the characters are realistic. The comidy is great. Most of all the best thing about this fic is Nightmare herself! She show emotion to the perfect extent!
