Throw both problems at one another and let them sort it out, seems like a pretty good idea honestly.

This is better, tbh. I don’t know if the Nightmare will survive this, but if she does a good conclusion could be her finally able to rest, alive or dead.

I am very happy to see nightmare 90% out of her funk, even if its for a suicide mission. I really hope that she gets her happy ending.

I’m always happy whenever I see this update! I could wait for an eternity and I would still be glad! Just goes to show how good your story is and I’m saddened it’s not as appreciated as it should be.

Also to add to what Warrior Kitten said it's not really HiE it's more like humans in Equestria, plural. However, I will agree that it is something that is worth reading. It is quite interesting and full of story. A little repetitive here and there, but that is more of a literary device than anything else.
