The cascade of water ended not a moment too soon. Nightmare Moon stood straight and waited, her ears twitching as she heard Vinyl step out. There was the scritch-scritch of a towel against fur and the bathroom door creaked open, letting steam roll across the carpet.

Scientifically speaking, the steam would run along the ceiling as warm air rises and it really be steam if it were lower than room temperature.

Well, on the bright side, Twilight matches her castle back in Ponyville?

I'm still wondering if Twilight gets blasted by the Elements, how will she be effected by the purification? Will the crystals be purged like bullets oozing out of Wolverine? Will they just evaporate as Twilight's body fills back in the holes left behind? Will they merge and turn Twilight into a crystal pony like the ponies up in the Crystal Kingdom? (insert Sparkly Twilight meme) I suppose the "boring" result would be they vanish and she's restored back to normal-- but the oozing crystal chunks like Wolverine bit still sounds cool, heh.

An excellent story of characters. Those who use Nightmare Moon in a story seldom have any character development for her or those she may have working with her. This story knows that characters are what drive a narrative. The motivations of key individuals are clear to anyone who choses to think about them. The smallest things can effect people in the most shocking of ways. We see this around us at how people will flip out at anything that others would see as nothing to event pause to think about. (like on Youtube video arguments in the comments)
Nightmares Eclipse have me wanting to learn more about each of them and the Moon herself has me invested in how she will deal with the threats around her.
I find myself cheering for the obliteration of these human invaders no matter what justification they have for the actions they have taken. The carelessness they showed when unleashing leftovers from there own wars onto another world as they looked to take from a world that is not for them and then how they play the victim when they are hit back.
I look forward to how this story continues. Will we see effects of these rifts in Sunsets mirror world? How are the other nations dealing with these rifts? Who will join forces with Nightmare Moon next? Will we see others from the show try to take over the world such as The Changelings?

One thing if for sure, more people need to read this story.

Amazing story, I just love the characters and the way they interact with each other. Binged the story in two or three nights and now am anxiously waiting for a new chapter to see what happens. Good job, author!
