I believe that is the typical response to Flashlight ships. Why the Ghost Cats have such a problem with it, i'm not sure.
5868666 Yeah, I agree. I almost like to think it's my subpar writing that earned its place in the Badfic bin, but I realized that, yeah, it being a Flashlight fic probably earned the downvotes more than any quality of writing.

I have considered making a fanfic based around the setting I had in mind. This fanfic would be more of a midquel to the story... A "16.5" if you catch the reference.
I like. Not just because of the pairing but because it was a well done scene. More romance than erotic but it's what was right. It's weakness is what it is, a scene. It feels like part of whole. One where we have seen the presence of such marks and how twilight felt uncomfortable at the mention of marks. It would have made this good scene much more powerful. Also length, of the story! Though not focused on the 'stimulation' the scene could stand for some expansion and greater detail. It is entirely possible for Flash to extend the foreplay, to show how he is not disgusted by the scar and get twilight more at ease with her body image in way that is better paced. And again this all can be Acomplished without it being overtly sexual or pornographic, these two adult characters who are having a sensually romantic moment. Well this is just my ramble, overall liked it, have a fav and nice day.
And to the Flashlight hate your going to receive, my advice, Shake it off, haters gonna hate, players gonna play, so just Shake it off.

Yeah. There was a scene somewhere during the first arc where Kirito and Asuna did the deed, though the canoncity of it's in question. Essentially because the scene in question is more of a fanfic written by the author of SAO than a legit scene.
Still doesn't stop the memes flowing from it.
