Luna and Celestia Have a Talk

After winning their first gym bag in Kalos, Luna and James was back in Lumiose city and they were heading back to the Pokémon center to rest, for the next day they were headed for Cyllage city to get their second badge.

While walking their Luna had a question for her boyfriend. “Hey James, do think my sister has arrived at Oreburgh city?”

James had to think for a moment. “Yeah, she should, why do you ask?”

“I just wanted to apologize for last time, I was a jerk then.” James agree with that.

Once they entered the center they could see nurse Joy talking on the phone, she look at the them and smiled. “Yes, she just walk in.” Joy then waved Luna over to her.

Once she was there. “Yes, is there something you want nurse Joy?” Luna asked he nurse.

“I have professor Sycamore on the phone and he tells me that you sister wants to talk to, he has her on another line.” Joy told Luna.

The former princess didn’t expect that. “Can you do so that I can talk to her on one of the phone over there?” She asked Joy as she pointed at the phones that was hanging on the wall.

Joy smiled. “That I can do, just go to one of the phones and I will make sure that you can talk to her.”

While Luna walk to the phones, James decided to sit by one of the tables.

Luna took the phone and waited, she didn’t have to wait long before she saw her sister. “Hey Celestia, it’s been a while.” Said Luna with a smile.

Celestia just smirk. “It’s been around a week.”

Luna just smirk herself. “Maybe, but it fells longer.” Luna had a point. “Anyway, I’m glad you called, I wanted to say that I’m sorry for what I said last time, I didn’t mean it.” She said while looking down in shame.

Celestia was proud of her sister. “Don’t worry about it, I just wanted to call you that I have reached Oreburgh city and I am going to have my first gym battle later today.”

That peaked Luna’s interested. “Really?” Celestia nodded. “I have already had my first gym battle and I won, look.” Celestia watch as Luna took out a bag that look like a bug. “This is the bag, it’s called bug badge.” Luna told her sister with some pride in her voice.

Celestia wanted to tell Luna not to get cocky but she was more proud. “That’s impressed, just remember not to let it go to your head.”

Luna just rolled her eyes as she put away her badge. “I know already, I leaner that lesson in Hoenn.” Luna then deiced to asked her sister something. “Hey, have you catch some new Pokémon yet?”

Celestia nodded her head. “Yes, have managed to catch three.”

Luna’s mouth fell open when she hear that. “You have three? I have only managed to catch two.” Luna sounded disappointed and Celestia didn’t understand why, she thought that her sister should be proud of that. “Can you show them to me?” Luna asked her big sister.

“Sure.” Celestia took out one ball and let out Rookidee. “This is Rookidee, he was the first Pokémon I caught. Say hello to my sister Rookidee.” He did that.

Celestia watch as Luna took out her Pokédex.

Rookidee the tiny bird Pokémon. It will bravely challenge any opponent, no matter how powerful. This Pokémon benefits from every battle, even a defeat increases its strength a bit.

“Why do I get the feeling I have seen Rookidee before.” Celestia had the same feeling. “And the last two?”

Celestia took out two more balls and released them, she then picked them up in her arms so Luna could see them. “This is Budew and Shellos, say hello to Luna, my little sister.” They did that.

Luna pointed the dex at Budew first.

Budew the bud Pokémon. Over the winter, it closes its bud and endure the cold. In spring, the bud opens and releases pollen.

And then Shellos.

Shellos the sea slug Pokémon. It lives along bodies of water. Its body shapes changed to suit its habitat.

Luna look at the data. “Wow, a Pokémon that look different considering where they live, that’s cool.” Celestia thought the same, she didn’t use the word cool.

“Well, let’s see your new Pokémon.” Celestia told her sister.

“Hang on.” Luna put away her dex and took out two Pokéballs, out came a pink Pokémon that started to float around her. Then Luna picked up a Pokémon that look like a deer. “I have caught a Spritzee and Deerling.” Celestia took out her own dex.

Celestia was amazed by both of them, a Pokémon emit a scent and a Pokémon that change it’s fur deepening on the season.

“Look's great.” Celestia put away her dex. “The reason I wanted to talk you is that I saw Sunset right after I left professor Rowan lap.”

Luna’s mouth fell open when she heard that. “You got to be kidding me, Sunset is in Sinnoh? Talk about bad luck, but I think you can beat her if you train good enough.”

“Don’t worry, I have no intention losing to her.” Celestia didn’t like to sound cocky but she really didn’t want to lose to Sunset. “By the way, is James there?”

Luna raised an eye brown. “Yes, why?”

“I want to ask him about something.”

Luna nodded. “One moment.” Luna look over at her boyfriend. “Hey James, my sister want to ask you something.”

James got up and walk over to Luna, he saw her sister on the video phone. “Hey, you wanted to ask me something?”

“Yes, do you know a man by the name of Paul?”

James frowned when he heard that name. “Unfortunately, yes. He is one strong trainer that live in Sinnoh, I don’t remember where I lives. Don’t tell my have battle him?” He really hope not.

Celestia shook her head. “No, but I saw Sunset battle him and she lost.” Celestia saw that Luna was shocked to hear that.

“That doesn’t surprised me at all, Paul haven’t lost that many Pokémon battles, I’m one of the few that have beaten him.”

Luna look over at her boyfriend with a worried look. “He’s that good?”

James nodded. “Yes, if you are ever going to battle him Celestia, don’t underestimate him because if you do, you will lose.”

Celestia was actually a little afraid now. “Don’t worry about it, I have no intention in battling him. Maybe when I and my Pokémon are stronger.”

James nodded. “Good.” He look at Luna. “I’m going to get something to eat, want some?”

“Sure.” James then left. “I hope you will be okay Tia, considering that Sunset and this Paul is in Sinnoh.”

Celestia smiled. “Don’t worry about me Luna, I can take care of myself. Look, I have to go, I have to get ready for my gym battle.” Luna nodded as she hung up.

Luna just stood there, thinking. She couldn’t believe that Sunset was in Sinnoh, she couldn’t help but be worried about her sister, she knew how strong Sunset was. Luna knew that Celestia could handled most thing but she wasn’t sure about Sunset. Then there was this Paul, if was as strong as James said, then Celestia could lost.

Luna then felt a hand on her shoulder that made her jump up in the air, she turned around and saw that it was James. “Are you trying to give me a heart attack?” she asked him while trying to calm down.

“No, I didn’t know what you were doing. I didn’t mean to scare you, sorry.”

Luna wasn’t mad at him, he couldn’t know. “Don’t worry about it.” She then notice baguettes in his hands. “Are one of those for me?” She asked him and the answer was yes, he gave one of them to her. “Thanks, I actually hungry.” She took a bite and it was good.

James smiled. “I thought so. Want to headed to the park and she if we can battle someone?” Luna thought that was a good idea, so they decided to head to the park.
