Okay concept, but the writing feels rushed. Two fast forwards in the same chapter, with no sort of logical transition to soften the blow? IMO, slow down the writing, take more time to describe and less time pushing everything forward at a breakneck pace.
couple errors here and there. Bit rushed as well for a first chapter. Would have been nice to know a bit more about him during the thousand years instead of telling us the stuff on the spot. Still, one of the few weeping angel fics on this site. i'll keep an eye on this.

I will remind you that George isn't really a Weeping Angel, but he just named himself after one because of the fact he's a statue, can walk, and goes red light when someone sees him, and green light when no one looks. The fact that he can cut up a dragon was because his stone material is unbreakable by normal means (it even took Dissy a thousand years to go out, and that required magic, this is how I formed my theory on how the creatures stoned by the elements of harmony cannot be broken out by physical means. But it's just a theory.) so even dragon scale could possibly not stand a chance.

I should mention the psyche repairs itself over time. At that time,(sorry to not mention timelines, it's just a short coverage of the thousand years rather than to fully narrate it(it would take to long and I would stay up all morning)) he was still recovering and was a bit aggresive. I guess he didn't like being lorded over.
