Well, I suppose slipspaces drives can be tricky, even at the best of times, so it is at least feasible for this to happen. Must agree, pleasantly surprised at this. You have a good writing style, one which carries the right amount of detail, but doesn't drag the story down. However, every time you are describing Jorge, you say Jorge - instead, try using him or he in place of Jorge, that way his name doesn't feel too repeated...
Will be watching, you've got a good concept and Jorge is a character who could easy be welcomed with a heart as big as his, keep it up!
