And Cadence who seems to.. for the moment at least not to care that her actions could cause a plathera of problems for Velvet once they switch back..if not before then.

She is, like Velvet is too. Though that doesn't really excuse what they're doing and what we've seen so far they both have wildly different attitudes to that problem.
