This could actually be dangerous to our corrupted baker. If his daughter is spooked enough to seek help, it could reflect very badly on him.
He planted a strong desire for him in her head. But without proper control, she could get the wrong ponies involved. Ponies like Princess Twilight might track it back to him. And pretty much everypony is going to react with disgust if she describes how he touched her.
If he wants his harem to thrive, he needs to tighten his control. Make them want to be his, and his alone.
That could include his son, should he return at an inopportune time. Either he needs to be part of Carrot's harem, or Carrot needs to give him one of his own. Perhaps Pound Cake has a few peers he would like to claim for himself, eh? Brainwash him into being a willing accomplice, then give him his own harem to keep him occupied.
Perhaps even to set him up as a possible scapegoat.
For some reason, during this entire scene, this was stuck in my head.
