Wow... this is a really interesting, original headcanon on Celestia's power. It's a short story, but the implications it has tells so much about her character. One-shots are great for sending concise yet powerful ideas, and this one really intrigues me. Great job! :raritywink:

4564857 Thank you so much!

Not going to analyse this one. Don't worry.

Anyway, I figured I'd take a look at some other stuff of yours. I like this. It gets a like and, when I'm done with this comment, a favourite. It's a nice take on the princesses' backstory. Even though it goes agains my somewhat vague headcanon, I didn't feel the need to smite you. I might even use this as a new headcanon. It makes sense and there's no proof against it, just no proof for it either.

It's a nice middle ground, really.

4564936 I wanted to see what I could come up with in an hour. It actually took about 2 hours, but I was pretty satisfied with it. It's funny, when I started writing it, the sun wasn't a dead white dwarf, but all of a sudden I was like, damn Celestia! That's good information to have! You could have told me that right off the bat! :pinkiegasp:

Powerful story, but now you have me intrigued. I must know what happened further in Celestia's past. Perhaps not all umpteen years, but the highlights of before she and Luna were 'chosen.' (Pretty please with sugar lumps on top? :pinkiehappy:)

4575387 Hmmm... This was meant as a oneshot, but that doesn't mean it has to stay that way. It may be difficult for me to keep to many headcanons in the air at one time, but... Hmm...

4575636 Writing Turning Back the Fimbulwinter... should be done next week I imagine. Probably under 20K words... Thanks for the suggestion!

4575636 Just published the first chapter of Turning Back the Winter

Oh my. That's a really depressing solution they found! Glad it worked though, considering what they were up against.
