Well, in one episode of Doctor Who, Rose asked the Doctor why he was able to use moonlight to kill a werewolf when werewolves are powered by moonlight, and his answer was "Yeah, well you're seventy percent water but you can still drown." I assume it's the same sort of thing.

From chapter 11:
Makes perfect sense.

Well, adoration is kinda just neutral. E.g. one group of people can adore puppies, another group can adore dead puppies. The adoration is neutral.

Pleasure is a good reason.
That's a good point though. I guess the same works for changelings; they treat love as if it's positive, but I wonder if Cadence and Shining could have caused the same love blast by loving dead babies a whole lot.
I can just see it now, Chrysalis being blasted away, screaming "Damn it! Their love for Hitler was just too strong!"
7868350 same thing in this story
7869433 One of the many, many, many very dark interpretations of the show.
I'd like to leave a bit more of an in-depth review this time.

Lets start with questions, I have a couple. Firstly, were the Dazzlings always going to be a part of this, or did the comments on the last chapter cause you to add them in? Just based on the rather quick way they were introduced, I lean towards the second. But feel free to set me straight.
Two, what the huh? It's been a year? A year is a long time! Or at least it is to us humans. Surely it would be long enough for the ponies to have- how did Sunset put it- become complacent. Unless you're one of the people who ascribe to the theory that ponies live for hundreds of years. It's a theory that does explain away some discrepancies in the show, but I've never gotten fully behind it.

Now lets move more into the meat of the chapter. A lot happened this time.
I like how this wraps up the Equestria Girls universe quite nicely. We need no longer concern ourselves with it, because everybody is dead. Nicely done
I also like what's happening with Sunset and Maud. Both seem quite natural, just like when Twilight broke. Instead of breaking, Sunset has become a roiling ball of anger. I wonder why Celly is keeping her around, against her better judgement. Might some small piece of her original soul be uncorrupted still, and trying to fight back?
As for Maud, she has broken, just not in the same way as Twilight. She has cut herself off from all feeling (not too different from how she was before, but still) and is only staying by Celestia on the off chance that she'll somehow get to kill the bitch. Makes sense. Actually, I think Maud may have suffered more than anyone else in this story.
Think about it: she and her sisters are having a good time fooling around with each other. All of a sudden, her father and mother come in, rape her and her sisters, and then kill her sisters. Then Maud breaks loose and kills her parents. Then Sunset appears, seemingly mad with worry, only to be beaned in the head by Twilight (who I imagine looked a lot like Harley Quinn in that scene), who then blames Sunset for what happened to her parents and sisters. Twilight and Maud then begin to torture and rape Sunset. Finally, Celestia herself appears and reveals the truth, all of it. Twice, Maud has taken revenge on those who didn't deserve it (I don't recall Celestia telling her that her father was starting to enjoy himself as it went on); she hurt innocents. And now Celestia presses her into service, forcing her to commit atrocity after atrocity just to stay alive. Most of Celestia's victims have at least died after a certain point and gone into oblivion. Or, like Twilight, they started to enjoy it. Maud has not had the luxury of either.
Shit like that is why I've been reading this a black comedy.
No, really, I have. There wasn't much humor in this chapter- though there was some catharsis with Sunset taking out her anger on the Shadowbolts. The one bit that sticks out in my mind was the Gak reference, because that had to be intentional
Anyway, I'm glad the story is drawing nearer to its end. With Celestia and hers returned to Equestria, its only a matter of time before the epic showdown between her and the resistance. Changelings, dragons, corrupted Starlight, and Moondancer. I can't wait!
Oh dear, that was pretty... I'm not sure if I should post on your blogs anymore...
Man, it always sucks when the evil characters get killed in these stories.
I have intended to include the Dazzlings since shortly after I started writing these again. I can't remember exactly when, but they are included because one or more of them are required for something specific to work later on.
Edit: I'd also point out that if the Dazzlings had to be stealthy because if Celestia found them earlier, they would be the ones powering that portal. In hindsight maybe I should have made a few things to suggest their presence nearby in previous chapters.
As for complacency, look at it this way: Celestia figured out how to get back while in the human world, without access to any libraries or knowledge from Equestria and with her mind slipping. She had to reinvent magic that none of those present had ever used while in a world with almost no magic. On top of that, she had to check and triple-check Sunset's additions to make sure she wasn't trying to blow Celestia up.
Given that in EG Twilight made a portal to the human world in about a day, It's safe to say that Starlight figured it out how to tunnel the other way before Celestia did. She would know that it was possible but would be a long task for Celestia to manage. Even though it would be difficult, they knew Celestia enough to know that she absolutely wouldn't stop until she had figured it out.
Actually, Starlight wouldn't know to take Sunset's genius assistance into account, so she might not be expecting Celestia so soon.
As for the length of the jump: there are events that occur and tasks to complete that absolutely cannot take place within a year; a year is stretching it even in a magical world. I'll try to explain in the least spoilery way possible, but some events are implied so I'm spoilering it.
1) I needed time for Ember to have Garble's eggs, get impregnated by Chrysalis, and have Chrysalis' eggs in order to lend credence to the dragons accepting and following Chrysalis' orders as they would Ember's despite dragon society not recognizing their 'marriage'. Chrysalis has to have dragons under her command because there is a place where someone must deal with Chrysalis' guards, and if they were changelings, everyone in the hive would know as soon as they were dealt with. 2) Moondancer had to have a palace built, and had to create new defenses herself to make sure they had back-doors for later. She also had to replace Celestia's defenses in other cities to make sure Celestia had no back-doors, and that she did, as they have no way of knowing what city they might need to sneak into. Atop that, she had to invent and add an advanced component to every defense grid. She had to do this to every city in Equestria because they have no way of knowing which one will need activated. Again, she had to do it alone to keep it secret, and in this case would need to slip away from all her guards and staff unsuspiciously to do it. Additionally, she had to cannibalize the Tree of Harmony to create her Celestia detection system, again herself because she had to specifically notch out Chrysalis, Starlight, or any changelings without it being apparent if Celestia, or Moondancer's own mages, inspected it. I could probably think of more, because this doesn't include her regular Empress duties.
7869802 Aw but I like your posts
7869838 That might be a problem then, because I'm pretty sure I only have a few not-evil characters to kill at this point. The chance of a 'good guy' winning this are pretty remote

I'm sure Sunset knows, she's just trying to get Two to stop enjoying herself so much.

There just isn't a lot of stories like these unfortunately. particularly pony ones.
There's ponyfictionarchive.net, so you could search there. It's kind of abandoned by its admins, but I know some people post stuff there that are against the rules here, so loli stuff.
I can't think of anywhere else to get pony stories like this unfortunately; if you do find one let me know.

For some reason I'm not really good at Discord. I wanted to include him because it wouldn't have made sense for him to ignore waifu-murder, but wasn't sure how to do it, particularly with Celestia being limited to non-magic. If I was given a better idea for killing and/or disabling him, I might alter that chapter.
I considered inserting this chapter before Fluttershy was murdered as well, having Celestia have more forethought and think to take him out before harming Fluttershy, or better, somehow disabling him so he has to watch her kill Fluttershy. It's hard to think of how to handle him since this is before Celestia gets super-powerful.
7870665 She's in a better place now: raping Pinkie clones.
Homophone error: "As the magic surged, the pumped more into Twilight than all the others combined, the cum drenching Twilight’s body as it two was pulled against the poll."
