These Creeper-Ponies have traits based in my headcanon for how and why they do things.
One piece of that headcanon is that they're more or less where our ancestors were around 15000 to 20000 years ago - they're just figuring out making tools that make things, and haven't gotten language yet, though they're still intelligent.

I have to admit, I'm kinda jealous. I really like the creeper-pony for some reason that I can't really explain. As for the species that the MC is, don't really know enough yet. Favorite part by far has to be the "town = hug me" misunderstanding.

Yeah, these townsponies should be glad I'm not there. That kinda of crap ticks me off, and being a fully-trained warrior armed with explosives and plenty of ammo for a rifle, it's never a good idea to get PO'd at anything. The temptation to turn problems into memories is a particularly strong one.
I'm of the opinion (in regards to all uncontrollable demographics), can you do the job or not? If you can, great. If you can't, move on to something else and don't whine about being the "victim of bias".
