Chapter 3

Changeling Hive: 1 day after the Canterlot invasion

Amazia woke up feeling terrible pain all over body, she looked around to see that she was at her room back at the Hive, her room at the Hive was small compare to the rooms at Canterlot, even changeling royality didn't have many possesions, her room only had a bed, a table with some chairs and a bookself with a few books, you can't really have much when you are living at a place like the Badlands

She heard her door being open, when she turned around to see who it was she was hugged by someone "Thank the Maker you are alright, I was worried sick about you when they brought you back unconcious" said her aunt, Miadra, with tears in her eyes.

"Aunty, it hurts" said Amazia barely above a whisper

"Oh my, I am sorry Amazia, here I brought some medicine it will help you recover faster" said Miadra while giving her niece a cup of medicine, with tears still at her eyes

"Thank you " said Amazia with a shaky voice "Wha-What happened, the last thing I remember was being thrown out of Canterlot with the rest of the Hive and mother " Amazia's eyes widened and she bolted up forgetting all about the pain "MOTHER, where is she? Is she ok ? " she asked until the pain was too much and she had to lie back down " Amazia, you have to rest, you are still healing, don't worry about your mother she is fine, she may not have recovered fully but she is in no danger "

Amazia visible relaxed and closed her eyes happy that her mother is alive and recovering "She wants to see you, once you are healthy enough to walk we will go and see her, ok ? " Amazia noded, too weak to do anything else, she drank the medicine her aunt gave her and then went to sleep too tired too stay awake any longer

Changeling Hive: 1 day later

Amazia woke up in her room again but this time she didn't feel any pain, she looked around the room and saw that her aunt was sitting at the table drinking tea, when Miadra noticed that her niece was awake put her cup down and walked over to her "How are you feeling my dear, does anything hurt ?"

"No, aunty I feel good, nothing hurts anymore, thank you " answered Amazia

"Good, now if you are good enough to walk, we should go see your mother, she is waiting for you at the throne room " said Miadra,

Amazia noded and with a little help from her aunt, she got up and went to the throne room with her aunt

Once she arrived at the throne room, she saw that her mother was angry, very angry "Amazia, come here now !!" said Chrysalis with anger

Amazia walked forward until she was right infront of her mother, who was sitting on her throne "Yes, mother ? "

Chrysalis got up from her throne and walked towards her daughter, once she was right infront of her she hit in the face with hoof so hard that Amazia fell down

Silence went around the throne room, Amazia shakly got up and looked at her mother, tears started to drop from her eyes "Do you want to explain to me, why was Princess Cadenza still alive after i ordered you to take care of her ?" said Chrysalis with venom and hatred in her eyes

"I-I-I could't kill her, she didn't anything wrong " said Amazia tears in her eyes

"YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A CHANGELING " roared Chrysalis "Because of your weakness we lost, because of your pathetic morals nearly half of our Hive died " said Chrysalis with venom

"Mother I .... "

"SILENCE, DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME MOTHER" shouted Chrysalis

Amazia was speechless, her mother returned to her throne "Amazia, you are hereby banished from the Hive "

"Wha-what? Mother plea.."

"SILENCE, you have three hours to get ready and leave, now get out of my site I don't want to see you ever again "

Amazia left the throne room crying while she kept her head low, her aunt followed her, after she threw an angry glare at her sister

Once they were back at Amazia's room, Amazia hugged her aunt crying to her chest, her aunt hugged her back, also crying, and said "Shh shh, I promise will do everything I can to change your mother's mind, I promise " they sat there for half an hour crying until their tears dried out "Come on, we should get you ready " Miadra said breaking the embrace

After a while of packing Miadra levitated a sphere to Amazia

"What is this ?"

"It is a communication sphere, it will help us keep in touch, every night at 9 i will call you using my magic, so I can make sure that you are all right "

"Thank you aunty"

"Come on we should be going "

Once they arrived at the Hive entrace, the gates were open and the guards were waitting for her, Butterfly was there also waitting for her, once she saw Amazia she rushed to her and hugged her "Be safe" said Butterfly after she broke the embrace, tears in her eyes ,"I will " said Amazia, she then turned to her aunt hugged her one last time, once she was done she said one last goodbye and then left the Hive, once she was outside the doors of the Hive closed behind her, she took a deep breath, with tears in her, and took the first step of her new life
