It's okay, bro. Whether this was done well or not, people still would've disliked it and given weird reasons for it.
I have a story on my channel about rape, and it has tons of dislikes. Everyone keeps telling me the story is "unfinished" or "ill-explained". I'm not stupid. I know that's not the real reason for their hatred.
People feel uncomfortable reading subjects like this. And they will come up with excuses to dislike it because they can't quite man up to their fear of it. Multiple authors have suffered these cowardly occurrences in their comment section.
Also, now that every chapter is read, I decided to end the fic with the most emotional speech at the funeral
I disliked because of the grammar and it's very sad.
I favorited it so I can read this when I'm depressed...

Everyone's saying that this wasn't explained enough, or that it didn't make sense. In reality, the opposite is true. No one read far enough into it.
This told a story without a plot. Just by reading letters, dozens of years were played back through your mind. Then, it wrapped up with the cause of the suicide. Her cruel ex-coltfriend.
This story truly is phenomenal. I'm going to give it a like for being so simple, yet so complex.

This is just way too blunt. Think about how someone who's suicidal would feel and how they would say it. You don't get a prologue in a suicide note. It either goes right in to the reasons why or "If you're reading this, I'm already dead. You probably have a lot of questions. First, know that I love you and that I'm sorry. It's not your fault." etc.
Also, what's the point of this passing game? Who'd make a game out of a suicide note? You may be tempted to say "Pinkie," in which case you wrote about the wrong pony, and still no. It feels more like you're trying to cover up the plot hole created by the whole story not just being told in one letter rather than thinking realistically about how it would have been written.
