The End of Days

It's Funny really, if it wasn't for Celestia the world would have been a happier place... now here I am, my index finger over the cursed Red Button. The button that will end it all... on the screen was Celestia asking or actually commanding me not to press it. She still thought that humanity would bow to her and become her 'little ponies.' This world was not meant for them, it was ours and they took it away from us, so they can have it after I decimate the surface!

"I COMMAND YOU NOT TO PRESS THAT BUTTON! LISTEN TO ME MORTAL AND BOW TO MY WILL!" she yelled again. I looked to the monitor screen .

I let a smile grow to my face "Tough!" I yelled pressing the button, starting untold horrors.

September 10th, 2031
9:00 AM
34 Years Before

Twilight and her friends were waking up to start hiking the mountain named after humans. Mount Everest, they say that few humans made it to the top. Today would be the day that they would be the first ponies to the top. She got out of her tent and began to get her bag together. Her other friends Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity came out of there tents ready to go, but Fluttershy seemed a bit sad and scared. She would under stand fear but not why see was sad. She walked over to her while she was packing up her tent.

"Good Morning Fluttershy, are you OK you seem a bit down?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, it's just nothing. Just a little nightmare." Fluttershy replied.

"Mind telling me what it was about?" Twilight asked. They began to walk up the mountain.

"I guess so, it was about a human but he was just a teen. He was running away from a few Royal Guards with a strange device on his back. After he turned a corner he was surrounded by the guards. He started to threaten them about destroying the city if they didn't let him pass. The guards started to approach him with the serum but the human told them that the device would destroy the city and all he had to do was press a red button. After the guards let him go he ran to this mountain, then it showed there was a battle between humans and ponies right here. Then it showed Canterlot get hit by a 'missile' like what the humans called them except it was no ordinary one. It exploded in a light that was brighter than the sun. Then it showed Canterlot again except this time a mushroom like cloud that was fully black rising from it and the city was leveled." Fluttershy said flying over a bolder.

After absorbing the information Twilight remembered a part of human history saying that they dropped two bombs on human cities that sounded like what Fluttershy had said, there was a bright flash followed by a mushroom cloud. What where they called? "Nuclear weapons".

"What was that Twi?" asked Applejack.

"Nuclear Weapons I think that whats they where called, they where weapons of mass destruction that the humans created 100 years ago and no pony knows were they were hidden. Celestia spent haft of the royal treasury just trying to find them but they didn't." Twilight replied.

"Wow, I really can't see how a race could make such weapons. Barbarians if you ask me." said Rarity.

"Yes but if a human is still out there he's a threat. Imagine if he found a way to use them, we couldn't do anything about it!" She said coming over a ridge.

"Stand still you fuckers or you die!" called out a voice. They turned to see 5 humans standing behind them with weapons.

The one with the longer weapon spoke up. "Well, well, well... look what we have here. The Elements of Genocide."

"Hey! What did you call us!" said Rainbow Dash.

"The Elements of GENOCIDE!" he yelled which made Rainbow Dash flinch. It sounded louder than the Royal Canterlot Voice. Twilight then tried to teleport away but found out it didn't work. "Oh, princesses prized student can't get away? Magic is blocked due to a the barrier." He grabbed Fluttershy, before Twilight could try to save her she was hit in the back of the head then everything went dark.

31 Years Before

Her life was a living hell, her and her friends were treated like slaves and once almost got raped if it wasn't for a officer that was on patrol. She right now was moving 10 bags of ammo which weighed about 300 pounds in all. She saw Applejack doing the same but heading in a different direction. She hadn't seen the others in a while due to they were scattered trough out the base. She was taking supplies out to a Bunker with a 'machine gun' if she remembered correctly. She walked outside with two guards behind her. When see arrived she thought see saw a pony occupied by a human with a Arctic Camouflage and a 'Sniper rifle'. As she got close the pony turned around with her face covered by a white cloth and ski-goggles. She was confused before she noticed bat-wings on the ponies back. The pony sat in silence and just watched her as well as the human sniper.

"What are you doing?" she asked in a whisper.

"Silence!" yelled the bat-pony.

She was shocked by how the bat-pony reacted to her. The two guards ran towards them but stopped when the human next to her opened his hand and pointed it's palm towards them.

"What are you doing? Helping these vile creatures?" Twilight asked. Her response was walking towards the human and laying next to it.

"When you committed Genocide against the human race you caused a lot more hate and anger in humans than you expected. You never thought we would fight back, you were wrong and lost millions of innocent ponies and converged humans. Like what I said to Recon Shot once 'if you corner an animal it's going to act out on instinct and lash out at the threat.' That's what humanity did, and we came so close to using our Nukes. You are lucky that we didn't, the only one who could launch them were the leaders of nuclear armed countries but they were converged along with the rest." the Sniper said. Which gave Twilight hope that ponies were safe from them. "But it doesn't mean we won't try to launch them if she ever found this base." Twilight's hope was immediately crushed.

"Then tell me, who are you?" she asked.

"Classified." he said said.

Twilight turned to Recon Shot."What are you doing here then?" she asked.

"I am here because I feel like the humans did nothing wrong, yes they have their dark sides yes but you look harder into there history you will find that humanity will never become truly evil. Just misguided." the mare said.

She couldn't believe that one of her friends chose a human over he friends. She became angry, angrier than she has ever been. "I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU WOULD LISTEN TO A BLOOD THIRSTY HUMAN THAN YOUR OWN PRINCESS!"

"And that's why I joined!" Recon flew up to her in her face goggles & mask flying off. Twilight fear for her life due to the eyes of the bat-pony were a crimson red like blood as white sharp fangs stuck out of her upper jaw. "Listen Twilight, during the War I saw some things that where burned into my mind. Those images are in my dreams every time I slept until I came here! I Hate Celestia for what she did, I Hope She BURNS IN HELL!!" Twilight fainted after that. Garrison and the other humans just had looks of shock on there faces.

"Wow... remind me never to piss you off." said a soldier said.

"What did I say about language." Recon Shot said turning to him.

"Yes Ma'am!" he replied.

30 Years Before

It was a quiet night in the pony camp, they were approaching the last human stronghold that stayed hidden for 21 years. They found it when the 'demons' were able to escape. Now they were going to rid the Earth of them. Little did they know that it was going to be 30 years of Hell. On a ridge about 800 yards was a sniper watching them.

"Seems that they have some conversion potions as well." the lone sniper said. "No problem for the artillery later." Looking around he found an Officer walking down the middle. He aimed his cross hairs over his head and waited until he got out of sight. He pulled the trigger sending the .308 caliber bullet from the L96 making the Officers head explode while the shot was muffled by a silencer. "One Officer downed. Two more to go." Aiming for another Officer that was in a tent with no one near it or in it by the lantern inside he pulled the trigger again cutting a small hole in the tarp as the Officer fell out of his chair. The last one didn't show, after about 20 minutes of laying there he finally poked his head out. Aiming his cross-hairs over him he did not expect for his kill to be taken by someone else. Looking in the direction where the muffled shot came from his eyes landed on Recon Shot. She waved at the lone sniper only for him to flip her the bird.

2034-2064

For thirty years was a slaughter house for the ponies. When ever they began the search for the base they were killed by snipers, ambushes, starvation, and the cold it self. They never found the actual base, it was deep in the mountain and diamond dogs wouldn't help Celestia in the slightest. Casualties for the ponies raised due to being unable to adapt to the cold as humanity had in the year 2056 due to a nasty snow storm that wiped the camps clean of any life. In the year 2059 humanity made its first offence in years ending in a victory as they were able to push them off the mountain. For the last few years the ponies tried to get a foot hold on the mountain but failed.

October 2nd, 2064

1 Hour Before
General Patton's PoV

"Sir, we have new reports from Browns company, they encountered a few new-foals trying to find a way into the base." said Brigadier General Romanov.

"Did Brown engage them?" I asked.

"Yes, sir." he replied. I let out a sigh. "Is everything alright Patton?" he asked.

"I'm fine I'm just worried. They haven't tried make a major offensive in 5 years. What could they be up too?" I said tapping on the desk.

"They could think that we will die out over time." he said.

"Yea, but still I'm a bit worried. Oh yea get this last night Luna got into my dreams and demanded me to surrender. I gave her the bird though before waking up." I said as the room echoed with a light chuckle.

"I'm surprised they didn't try that earlier." said someone behind us. Looking back I came face to face with one of our scientist, Dr. Hooves a defect from Equestria.

"Ah, doctor. Good to see you. Finally decided to come out of your hole?" I asked. He glared at me in response.

"Anyway, what did you call me up here for?" he asked flatly.

"We were wondering if you could transmit a radio signal through magic." said Romanov.

"Yes, why do you ask." said a scientist.

"We have to ask her to give up, if she does not comply we will have to use the nukes." someone said said around the table.

"What! Do you know what that will cause!?" he yelled.

"Yes we do, your family is safe here and we hope to recolonize the surface one day. This is our final option we have." I said. He was about to protest but reality hit him. "We can't fight forever." He backed away.

"I... I guess I'll prime the weapons." said a soldier walking out.

I walked out of the room to the main control center. Doctor Whooves collected some equipment before attaching them to the keyboard. They began to patch us into the radio network, 5 minutes later Celestia answered.

"Yeesh, took you forever to pick up." I said with a smile.

"So, You The One That Has Been Killing My Little Ponies!"

"Yes I am the one and if you don't stop your madness more of your 'little ponies' are going to die, and I mean a lot more." I replied.

"You dare threaten my subjects?!" she yelled into the mic.

"Yes I dare to threaten due to I have no fear of you even though you say that your a god, god my ass." I said.

"You disgrace me with you lies! I am the goddess of the sun that rises..."

"What?! The Sun You Can't Control?! The Sun That Works By Itself?! You Have No Power Over This SUN CELESTIA!, YOU MAY HAVE HAD IT BACK FROM THE PIT OF HELL YOU CAME FROM BUT NOT HERE! HERE ON THIS WORLD YOU ARE JUST LIKE THE REST OF YOUR SUBJECTS!! Now, I have come here to give you this warning! I have control of every single nuclear weapon in the world and at the press of this button I can launch all of them! Destroying the surface and making it inhabitable for the next few hundred years and when it clears we will be the only ones alive! HUMANITY WILL RISE AGAIN!" I said positioning my index finger over it. Behind me there was clapping and cheering.

"I COMMAND YOU NOT TO PRESS THAT BUTTON! LISTEN TO ME MORTAL AND BOW TO MY WILL!" she yelled again. I looked to the monitor screen .

I let a smile grow to my face "Tough!" I yelled pressing the button, starting untold horrors.

"Nuclear Missile Launched Authorized" said the animated announcer as a siren went off.

The base shook as the missiles thrusters rocketed to life slowly lifting into the air. The look on Celestia's stupid face was priceless, I shall always remember. Then guilt washed over me, realizing what I had just did. Taking a deep breath in I made my way to the door not looking back, going through the bases inner workings and through the layers of earth we meet the surface. New Foals were sitting on top of the mountain. In the sky were hundreds of streaking missiles, in the distance you could see flashes of light and mushroom clouds rising. The end of days for old Earth, soon a new one will take its place. This was the Final Solution.

Not nearly Germanic enough. I believe more ponies should have died. I also think that the characters took very extreme personalities as opposed to more realistic ones.

Personally, I hate Conversion fics. I'll just let this lie where it is.
