Sequels1

This story is a sequel to The Greatest Day of Her Life

Derpy finds herself tasked with a strange mission: deliver an enchanted artifact to the leader of a band of pirates so that they can be tracked and brought to justice. What she doesn't see coming is the fact that Captain Magenta-with-a-Saffron-Stripe-Beard might not be quite the pony she had anticipated. It's amazing what you can learn about a pony over a cup of steaming tea and a little mortal peril.

The second iteration of "The Misadventures of Derpy Hooves."

Pirates + Derpy = My interest peaked.

Lovely, just one thing.
“Derpy backed towards the railing, her head held low.”
Either somepony just broke the 4th wall, or you put this in quotes by mistake.

Whoops.

Fixed it.

Thanks for reading!

Delivering eyeliner? Well... there have been weirder reasons to ask a civilian to preform a military opperation, but not many.

Sorry, my previous comment got cut off by a browser error, so I deleted it, and I'm reposting.

These "Misadventures of Derpy Hooves" fics are meant to be kind of light-hearted and goofy compared to most of my fics, so I keep them relatively mild, (nothing beyond Disney in terms of content) and use some very cartoonish, amusing justifications for various plot devices.

Glad you read it. Thanks.

Great story!
I really enjoyed it! :derpytongue2:

the whole AYE bit was funny. don't worry i'll be review once I get to your...5th story ciao

Interesting backstory. This being Equestria I see the pirates getting broken up and conscripted into the Navy (air force?)... Or maybe not even broken up.

“Is that how you lost your eye?” asked Derpy.

“No,” said the griffon, shaking her head. “That happened when I used to work for a delivery service. You wouldn't believe how dangerous that job can be.”

“Actually,” said Derpy, but she stopped herself. “Never mind.”

Perfection. :rainbowkiss:

I read the whole series over the past couple days, and this was definitely my favorite. Especially Teacup, I kind of wanted to write about her escaping prison myself, but you apparently wrote her future already. Boo :(.
