It's that time of year again! The leaves on the trees are turning all sorts of warm wonderful colors and soon the ponies of Ponyville will take up their positions for the annuel Running of the Leaves. The competition has grown into quite the friendly competition between two ponies in particular: Rainbow Dash and Applejack. Yet for some reason this competiton seems to have had an odd effect on Fluttershy, who seems to have been rather down as of late.
Join Rainbow Dash as she attempts to cheer up her friend and get to the bottom of what's eating at the gentle yellow pegasus.

that scene where Flutters is flirting with Rainbow completely reminds me of when I tried that wih a close friend of mine!
If only there had been a waitress to help me out like in the story.

If only... however, it only made this story even better than most I read! good job I say! Good job!

by the way, you know how 'buck' and 'hay' are pony cuss words? well, when i read something like this:
i crack up.
I wasn't a fan of the copious internal monologue, and I especially didn't like how it made Fluttershy sound like an angsty teen girl. Rainbow Dash's dialogue sounded kind of cheesy at times, too.
I did like the scene in the diner; that was nice, but the characters just felt too off for me to really enjoy this story.
