Oooh. Very nice, very nice. Definitely got a bit of a "White Box" feel there. I won't lie, I was a little offput by the whole human thing, (the Lyra/human dynamic has been beaten to death in my opinion), but you made it work here very well. Hopefully this'll get featured soon.

This was partly inspired by "White Box", but only after this idea came to me on a whim. This is more of the darker side to Lyra, but her whole misfortune is based on them here.
