Worth The wait, this is one of my favorite stories on this site

Nice to see this story's not dead although I think you might need to double check the edits if this chapter is an example.
I wonder if the author of Lighting Master has read this story
Ug, it was hard to read this chapter. There've been several instances throughout this story where I've questioned the logic behind a decision, but they were small and insignificant for the most part, and I was happy just to ignore them in favor of enjoying the story, but you're asking me to ignore what amounts to a whole chapter, in this case. There are so many logical fallacies in this chapter, that it's hard to even look at, let alone read.
First, the princesses seemed a little too out of character in this chapter. I'm not saying they shouldn't feel disheartened or guilty, but you laid it on a bit too thick in this chapter. However, this is something I, like other, similar, instances, can ignore.
Second, Isaiah seems to be blowing this way out of proportion with how he reacted to Celestia and Luna. And before you say, But, Astromormy, he almost died, I would like to point out that he's stared Death in the face countless times already and killed just as many times that it's almost become second nature, so he obviously can't be too bummed about almost dying. As for the princesses betraying his trust, that's completely asinine. Saying they betrayed his trust is the same as calling someone who's been manipulated into betrayal a traitor. It just doesn't work. They made a mistake, yes, but that isn't the same thing as knowingly betraying him. In fact, trust had very little, if anything at all, to do with what happened. They would be just as likely to poison him regardless of how much he trusted them, as, again, it was an accident and beyond there control. Yes, he should be angry with them, but to the point he is, not so much.
And third, my biggest beef has got to be with the so-called 'rape'. Rape is defined as forced or unwilling sexual actions towards a party. What part of Cadance's night with Isaiah can be described as rape? Yes, it was clear from the beginning that he was uncomfortable with the course of events, but, despite that, not once did he make an attempt to stop Cadence from continuing. You can't tell me that he thought Cadence wouldn't stop. A mare's heat might make them act differently than normal, but I highly doubt Cadence was lost enough that she'd rape him, not with all the times she gave him the option to opt out. Not only that, but where did that sudden resentment towards Cadence come from, and where was it when it might've been relevant and warranted? There wasn't any hint of it during Isaiah's and Cadance's lovemaking nor at breakfast the next morning. By this point, any anger or resentment is too little, too late. It seems the only reason he's mad at Cadance is because of the poisoning, which I've already explained is stupid. Even more so, if Isaiah wants to play the blame game, he should just as readily blame himself for letting the 'rape' go on instead of laying all the blame at the princesses hooves.
8417852 he was drugged though, he couldn't attempt to stop Cadance even if he wanted to
