Tempest Shadow had switched loyalties rather quickly, but blending into the other aspects of life is taking longer. In particular, Hearth’s Warming proves a bit of a challenge to understand—well, no, more to remember. She’d blocked out a lot of her foalhood. And Twilight Sparkle suggests Sweetie Belle as the one to help her get it back.

It's been a hair over a year, and Twilight and Tempest's relationship is as strong as ever. Tonight, Tempest has something special planned. She has the perfect location picked out, she got Luna to agree to a special nighttime display, and she even has a ring. All that's left is for Twilight to say that one magic word.

Hearth's Warming traditions are often the same for ponies and creatures as they are every year, but this year Tempest gets to experience something new and different. And she learns that changelings are used to new and different.
