Seizing Sweetie Bell for the project, Rarity caught up in her mania as soon as her sister comes home from school, Sweetie Bell is cajoled into weaving together the most intricate matrix warp of threads Rarity has ever produced with her magic.
Sweetie Bell has only seen that look in Ratity's eyes before, in a dream.
Rarity, apparently oblivious to the burden she has placed on her sister.
The agonizingly long hours.

Rarity isn't listening,frustration is rising, and Sweetie Bell is tired and can't seem to care.
Exhausted Sweetie misses one shuttling in the warp of the weave.....

As Rarity and Sweetie Belle disembark on a trip to visit their parents, they are left with nobody to keep an eye on the most precious thing in Carousel Boutique... Opal the cat.

Asking around her circle of friends, Rarity finds help in the form of Rainbow Dash, and their mutual human friend Tom. They have no problem with spending a few days relaxing and keeping an eye on her little princess.

Surely the fastest and bravest pony in Ponyville and Equestria's resident monster hunter can keep one cat out of trouble, right?

Rarity loves to hold her head up high and put on a strong face, smiling for the world to represent the fashions she designs. But what if behind that smile she's hiding something, a weakness and deep seated self-loathing for instance? Would this loathing go deep that it'd invert her very soul and come out as a similarly, struggling one, even across a different universe? More of a simple dramatic exploration enacted out of possible emotional depth between two characters than a real story.

Inspired a bit by David Lynch's Lost Highway.

Dread Storm came from a vastly different world and does not know where she would fit in any more. She has to learn how to let go of her past life which she may never return to. The real question is does she even want to return?

While her friends were starting their new lives, Rarity felt somewhat empty. Yes her friends were great, she has a loving coltfriend, and her sister has been staying at Carousel Boutique a lot more nowadays, but she’s somewhat incomplete. One night with what her and Sweetie Belle believes to be a shooting star, Rarity makes a wish that changes her life.

This tells how I, Sol Shooter, was kicked out of house and home in Canterlot by my father for getting expelled. My mother slipped me a letter that said to go to Ponyville and stay at Rarity's until she is able to get me back home. Rarity, with whom my mother was a friend and customer, allowed me to stay until Mother says it's safe to come home. What will happen here in this small town? How long will I be staying here? Will I want to leave? You will find the answers in this short story.
