But one day, Sweetie stops caring about getting attention, and soon finds herself facing her potential and destiny.

It scares her.

Thankfully, there is someone who can give her some closure.

I'm HEAVILY breaking into new territory with this story. This will be my first story of the Sad genre, and that will come with a lot of things that you might find quite lacking.

After the Helping Hooves Music Festival, Rara decides to return to Manehattan to get her new music career off the ground. With the help of Applejack and Rarity, they enlist Coco to help Rara out while they settle matters in town.

But when Rara starts to have writer's block, she meets a songwriter named Crescendo who has had a hard time getting his music to be noticed. Now she needs to believe in herself to help him get his confidence back so that he can help launch her new career for everyone to see.

Spitfire has really done it this time. Why couldn't she just keep her mouth shut and admit that she doesn't have anyone new in her life? And why did she have to take Soarin's challenge and introduce her 'date' at the Christmas Party?

Thankfully, she can rent a date pretty easily. And perhaps, this might lead to something more.

Coloratura's life had been a mess ever since she had fallen out of love with her craft. She hadn't been able to write since the day she realized that her manager had been tricking her and that she had delved too far from the genre she had originally chosen to ever truly go back to being the pony she was.

Celestia's life had been pretty great. She was enjoying retirement to the fullest, her days filled with rock-climbing and surfing and dancing. She had a sister and a student she loved. But she didn't have any friends - it was quite impossible to make some the normal way when one had grown used to being royalty and getting the adoration of the masses.

Then a spilled glass of champagne and Celestia's obsession with electro-pop leads to the two of them meeting at a gala, and a lot happens afterwards.

To say that life is simple for Berry Punch, regular of the pubs and bars of Ponyville, would be understating her routine. Go to work; deal with mental anguish at the hooves of unrelenting mares, stallions, or whoever, who thought they could push around managers and service workers; then go to one of her favorite establishments to forget the day. The Hearth's Warming season is no different, and in fact, brings more reason to end each evening in a mental fog. Who can have an enjoyable time while they live alone and rarely meet with anyone during the holidays?

However, at some point, everypony needs a little help to get out of a rut, and after a particularly difficult day, she might finally have the pony to help nudge her on the right path. Somepony just as broken as her. Just with a little magic inside her.

However, the Great and Powerful Trixie has heard her sing. She's been captured by a new kind of magic.

A plan occurs to her: a bold and ambitious plan, one that'll get the once-disgraced magician back on top. For young and trusting Rara is her golden ticket to a classy comeback…

When the citizens of Ponyville's Everfree District need their animals cared for, they turn to Doctors Fluttershy and Tree Hugger, veterinarian and herbalist. The two are famed for the kindness and care; something of a rarity in the Everfree District, where poverty and drugs have infiltrated every street.

So when the two notice that Lightning Dust is struggling with a drug addiction, they decide to help; it's their job, after all. But helping the proud mare with a problem she doesn't want to admit she has is not going to be easy, especially since there's more to this diagnosis than simply addiction.

There is no straightforward cure for all hurting mares. But with a bit of love and care, perhaps Fluttershy and Tree Hugger can help Lightning Dust get what she needs.

A side story of the Noireverse, this mini-project of mine is intended to focus on Fluttershy and the lives of the ponies in the Everfree District, as well as introduce my version of Tree Hugger and Lightning Dust to the series. Plus, Flutterhugger is a personal favorite ship of mine, and I wanted to write something about it.

This contains several references to the Noireverse at large: it's best if you're familiar with the Ponyville Noire series before reading this.
