A world where Rock has been banned?! There's no way that Rainbow Dash and Casey will let this fly! They and all of their friends will bring Rock back to that world.
It's been quite some time since the vacation on the yacht, and there has been fun times with music and action. But then, the Rainbooms, Ninjas, Dazzlings, Shadowbolt girls, Coloratura, Vinyl Scratch and Octavia find themselves in another dimensional Earth, where music is transformed into electricity that powers the city they're in. But now they have to become a part of a music revolution, helping Bunk Bed Junction bring back Rock into the city. From on the streets of Canterlot City, a certain Party Wagon and Shellraiser was driving down the street and soon stopped near the school. The doors opened, revealed to be none other than the Turtles, Dazzlings, along with April, Casey, Keno, Karai and Shinigami.
"Ah, good ol’ CHS." Mikey smiled. "It's been a while since we've been here."
"Yeah, ever since the whole portal situations." said Raph.
"Still, why didn't you and Adagio call us to help too?" Sonata asked.
"Sorry Sonata. Someone had to watch over New York with the Mutanimals." Karai informed.
"True, but we should've been more involved. We feel a bit rusty." Aria pointed out.
"That's why we asked Karai if it would be alright if you girls would come along." Casey added.
"Yeah, we never hung out with each other more often." April agreed.
"Still, are you guys sure that they're at CHS?" Keno asked.
"That's right, Twilight said that every Saturday, they go to school to do extra projects and band practice." Donnie informed.
"How do you know that, D?" Shinigami asked.
"Through Twilight's itinerary. We went it over like ten times." Donnie answered, causing everyone to look at him in confusion. "What? Keeping schedules is important!!"
"Let's see if they're busy." Leo declared as all of them started heading towards the school.
"Guys?" A voice noticed as everyone looked and saw a surprised and confused Apple Bloom.
"Oh, hey Apple Bloom. Long time no see." April smiled.
"It sure has." Apple Bloom replied as she walked over.
"Been keeping up with your training?" Karai checked.
"Eyup, we make sure to stay in shape." Apple Bloom smiled.
"Hey, where's Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo?" Shinigami asked.
"Sweetie Belle got hurt by a scooter and now her leg's in a cast, and Scootaloo's grounded." Apple Bloom informed.
"Really? Why?" Leo asked in surprise.
"She was the one who drove her scooter into Sweetie Belle." The young Apple responded, surprising the others.
"You know what, I kinda expected that." Casey admitted.
"You seen your sister and her friends anywhere?" Raph asked.
"They're at the music room." Apple Bloom answered before she suddenly had a concerned look on her face. "But uh..."
"What?" Leo checked in concern.
"They've been down in the dumps lately." Apple Bloom informed, surprising them.
"Really? That's a first." Adagio noted.
"Y'all might wanna go over and see how they're doing. Maybe y'all can help." Apple Bloom advised.
"We will. Thanks Apple Bloom." Leo said in gratitude.
"Anytime, ah'll tell Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle that y'all said hi." Apple Bloom responded as she walked away while the others walked in the school. But a familiar group of five soon showed up at the school as they started heading in as well.
Meanwhile, the Rainbooms were in the music room, somehow doing nothing before Octavia and Vinyl showed up.
"Oh, hello girls." Octavia greeted as she and Vinyl walked in, but both of them were somehow in the same state as the girls were. And Vinyl, for the first time, wasn't wearing her headphones on her as Octavia asked, "Is something wrong?"
"Yeah, we're bored." Rainbow Dash groaned.
"But weren't you girls going to practice?" Octavia remembered.
"We were, darling." Rarity sighed.
"But the reason for that is..." Sunset was about to explain before she was cut off. "Hey guys!!"
Everyone turned and saw it was their friends from New York. Even though they were bored, the Rainbooms were glad to see them, causing them to stand up and hugged or fist bump their fellow ninjas.
"Good to see you guys." Twilight smiled.
"Good to see you girls, too." Leo smiled back.
"What are you guys doing here?" Spike asked.
"We wanted to visit you guys and see how you were doing." Raph answered.
"So what's been going on with you girls, lately?" Shinigami wondered.
"At the moment, nothing." Applejack answered with a sigh.
"Huh?" The group said in confusion.
"We were going to practice our songs. But it's just...well..." Rarity trailed off, unsure what to say.
"We lost our sprinkle pop." Pinkie finished as she randomly tossed a sprinkle, but it did a faint explosion.
"We played the same songs over and over and. Well..." Twilight tried to say.
"All of them are so out of date and stale lately." Sunset finished.
"Even I can't come up with inspiration for them." Fluttershy sadly sighed.
"Even my awesome songs don't cut it anymore." Rainbow added.
"Oh, so you girls too?" Octavia noticed as everyone looked at her and Vinyl. "I wanted to come up with something new as well, but I'm afraid everything I played sound so too standard. Even Vinyl lost her gumption when it comes to her music." Octavia informed, with Vinyl nodding in agreement.
"Oh come on! And just when we were about to ask for some help!" A voice groaned in annoyance as everyone turned and were surprised to see the Sour Sweet, Lemon Zest, Indigo Zap, Sunny Flare and Sugarcoat, AKA, the Shadowbolts. Keno smiled as he walked over to Indigo and kissed her, with her kissing him back.
"Oh, Sour Sweet, Sunny Flare, girls. What are all of you doing here?" Rarity asked.
"Well we didn't come here to join the moping club where everyone mopes about everything." Sugarcoat bluntly answered.
"We actually came over because after watching the Rainbooms' last show," Lemon Zest explained.
"We wanted to form a band too." Sour Sweet sweetly said, which surprised everyone.
"Really? You girls wanna be a band, too?" Casey asked in surprise
"That's right." Indigo confirmed after she was done kissing Keno. "Only problem is, we don't know where to start. Like what instruments are we going to play, what genre are we going to play, who's going to write songs, so on and so forth."
"Plus we wanted to call ourselves the Shadowbolts, but Lemon suggested we take something else." Sunny Flare said.
"Yeah, cause that name's for our school, only." Lemon Zest pointed out as everyone else however was just as surprised.
"Whoa... From the sound of things, you girls seem to be having writer's block." Casey noticed.
"Not to mention inspiration." Keno added.
"And we wish we could help you guys out. But none of us know how to play in front of a crowd." Donnie sadly informed/
"Plus we don't have any experience when it comes to band performances." Leo pointed out.
"Well that's a bummer." Pinkie Pie pouted
"Sorry, girls. I really wish we could help." Leo apologized.
"You know, I wish that we could go to a place where you girls could be inspired by the power of music." Mikey said as crossed his arms, while looking in the air before he and everyone felt a draft. "Hey, do you guys feel a draft?"
However, within a split second, it clicked to Mikey, Karai, Pinkie, Rarity, Sonata and Adagio. "Uh-Oh!!" exclaimed the pair at the same time, whilst within a split second, a portal opened in the middle of their classroom.
"What in tarnation!!" Applejack exclaimed.
"Oh no!" Sonata dreaded.
"Here we go again!" Pinkie yelped.
"Oh, sewer apples." Mikey groaned before he, Pinkie, Sonata, Karai, Rarity and Adagio were the first to get sucked in.
"Mikey/Girls!!" The others yelled before...
"Uh, why is the portal sucking us in too?!!" Donnie realized in panic before soon enough, the rest of the Turtles, Rainbooms, Dazzlings, along with the Shadowbolts, Octavia, Vinyl, Shinigami, April, Casey and Keno to be sucked in as well. Once all of them were through, the portal closed, leaving no evidence that they could've gone anywhere.
In another world, a portal opened at a nighttime city before the group fell out, comically ending up in a huge pile. Everyone groaned from the fall, with Spike being on top.
"Glad it wasn't me." Spike grinned.
"Major wipeout." Mikey muttered as he was able to get out of it. He rolled his arms as he walked to the edge, but moment he did, he widened his eyes in shock. "Whoa."
"Mikey!!" Raph growled as he walked over to him the moment he got freed. "You had to say something didn't you?! When I..." Raph was about to blame his little brother before Mikey grabbed his head and turned to what he was seeing, causing Raph to widen his eyes in shock and couldn't believe what he saw.
"What's wrong, guys?" Leo asked as he and everyone walked over, but the moment they did, all of them were amazed.
All of them saw a big city right before them, and couldn't believe what they were seeing.
"Whoa, this place is amazing." Twilight awed.
"It's beautiful." Sunset added.
"But what is this place?" Casey pointed out.
"Welcome to Vinyl City." Pinkie read out as everyone saw what they were seeing and saw her staring at a large billboard that says that.
"Vinyl City? Never heard of that place before." Sonata said in confusion.
"None of us do." Karai agreed.
"Hey, what do you know Vinyl, you've got a city named after you." Keno joked, which caused Vinyl Scratch to look at him with a flexed eyebrow.
"You guys think the portal brought us here for a reason?" April wondered.
"Could be possible. I mean the portal first brought Mikey, Pinkie and Sonata to Crash's world, as well as you, me and Rarity to Sly Cooper's world." Adagio noted.
"So what's this place's story?" Indigo Zap asked.
"We can stand here like lost souls or could ask someone for any information about this city instead of looking like fools." Sugarcoat bluntly pointed out.
"Good idea. Maybe we can find a cafe and hack into the database to see where we are." Donnie suggested.
"Why not? We did it when we visited Batman's world." Rarity remembered
"She does have a point." Fluttershy admitted.
"Come on guys." Leo urged as he and everyone else entered Vinyl City.
"Well, Ah’m parched. Should we find a cafe?" Applejack asked.
"I'm up for it. I wonder what good eats they got." Mikey smiled before as of later, the group was in the cafe while Donnie was looking at his computer, and everyone else had their food and drinks. "You know what I find surprising?"
"What? That this place doesn't serve pizza?" Raph rhetorically asked.
"That, and nobody seems to freak out that we're walking turtles in a store, or that you girls look different, and that Spike can talk and is allowed in here." Mikey answered as everyone slowly looked around, and were also surprised by this.
"You know, in a way, Mikey has a point. And the fact that the guy gave me a meat flavored smoothie." Spike agreed as he slurped up a smoothie while some of the other's faces went green at that.
"I don't even wanna know how they made it, or got it." Twilight said.
"Whoa... This is incredible. Their computers are amazing." Donnie awed with starry eyes.
"Focus, Donnie." Applejack sternly pointed out.
"Right, right. According to this, Vinyl City was founded over fifty years ago, and get this; this entire city's power... is run by music." Donnie informed
"Music?!" Everyone else gasped in shocl as they looked.
"Uh-huh. According to this, the founders had found out that whenever they create any kind of music, it can power any technology in the world. Because of it, whenever a musician plays any kind of music, the more energy they create. And because of it, that kind of power became the first clean energy, no pollution, no lack of resources, anything." Donnie explained.
"Whoa, so you mean if we were able to make a rock, hip hop and any kind of music, we'd end up creating a new energy source?!" Pinkie smiled.
"Exactly!!" Donnie answered.
"This is amazing. If we somehow made technology like that in our world, we can solve a lot of problems." Twilight said in amaze before Mikey suddenly blinked.
"Uh, I don't know. Would it be a good idea? I mean we all know what happened last time when someone tried to create a new energy source and then stole it." Mikey pointed out.
"What are you talking about Mikey?" Keno asked.
"The Black Hole Generator?" Mikey reminded as everyone blinked at that, and remembered what happened when Fugitoid built something like that, the Kraang took it and used it as a weapon against the Triceratons.
"Oh dear, we almost forgot about that." Fluttershy noticed.
"Now that I think about it, Mikey's right. If we somehow brought that to our world, who knows what they could've done with it." Sunset admitted.
"Yeah, like a random big dragon who would reverse the song and create an apocalypse out of it." Pinkie noted as everyone stared at Pinkie with flexed eyebrows.
"What are you talking about, Pinkie?" Octavia asked as Pinkie simply shrugged.
"So what else does it say?" Adagio added.
"Well, according to this, after they created energy and Vinyl City, they created a solid government to watch over the city, as well as different artists to help power certain districts. Hence NSR, the company, was founded. There were other musicians that helped power the city, and during that time, a band called the Goolings ran Vinyl City." Donnie informed.
"Hmmm." Mikey pondered for some reason before he typed on the computer and brought up the Goolings.
"Mikey, what are you...?" Donnie was about to ask in protest when Mikey hit the play button before everyone heard one of the Goolings' tracks, and they were amazed by how they sounded.
"Whoa... Awesome." Rainbow Dash awed in surprise
"Whoa, those guys know how to rock." Raph noted.
"Well, you won't hear anymore. According to this, after they took over, they shortly broke up and went their separate ways. Now NSR runs the city, with a woman named Tatiana as NSR's CEO." Donnie explained.
"Whoa, look at this. According to this, NSR is holding an audition for any musicians to help them further empower Vinyl City." Lemon Zest noticed.
"Further power? Why would they do that?" Sour Sweet asked in confusion before Sonata pointed at one of the articles.
"Hey look, this says the city is facing some power struggles. Probably a decline in artists and musicians that want to help empower the city." Sonata noticed
"And from what the news is, they're having an audition. We should totally check it out. See what they can do. Maybe we can even ask if we can provide too." Rainbow Dash added.
"You got over your writer's block yet?" Raph asked rhetorically, causing the girls to suddenly blush at this. "That's what I thought."
"It wouldn't hurt to check it out." Leo admitted as everyone headed out to spectate the auditions.
Shortly after reading what was posted, everyone headed towards where they said the stadium would be. Although when they got there, to say it was grand was an understatement.
"Whoa... So awesome." Casey, Rainbow and Indigo said at the same time.
"Oh I know, and the decor is amazing." Rarity agreed.
"You sure this is the right place, Donnie?" April asked.
"It's the only stadium in the city that they're holding their auditions." Donnie responded.
"Think that they'll allow us in here?" Karai noted.
"Oh, I think so." Keno answered as he looked at the poster. "According to this, any newcomers who visits this city for the tenth day, has to pay everything, but if you're a newcomer, you get free access to everything."
When all of a sudden, they heard a bit of babble, which came from none other than Rarity and Pinkie Pie. "Did it say... free?!"
Applejack had a dread look on her face as she said, "Oh boy, ah know that look."
"That means I get to shop for free!!!" Rarity squealed in excitement.
"And I get to eat so much cake for free!!" Pinkie added as it suddenly clicked to Mikey too. "And that means...FREE PIZZA!!!"
"And free tacos!!" Sonata shouted in excitement.
"See you later!!" Rarity, Pinkie, Mikey and Sonata bid farewell as they instantly darted off. Everyone else on the other hand had deadpanned expressions while some flexed their eyebrows as they saw them off.
"Please tell me I'm not the only one who knew they were going to do that." Shinigami hoped.
"Nope, you're not the only one." Sunset confirmed.
"Applejack, is that you?" A voice asked as everyone turned around and they were surprised to see none other than Countess Coluratura. Or otherwise known as...
"Rara?!" Applejack gasped in excitement as she ran over and hugged her friend, with the latter hugging her back before they broke the hug. "It's so good to see you."
"Wait, you know her, Applejack?" Sour Sweet asked in surprise as they came over.
"Course ah do, Rara and I have been friends since we met years ago at Summercamp." Applejack smiled.
"We still kept in contact over the years, not to mention the occasions I visit. If my old manager hadn't gotten in the way." Coloratura added.
"Old manager?" Sunny Flare asked.
"I'm surprised you didn't read about it. Her previous manager made her work like a slave, but he got fired last year because the Record Company had enough of his greed and obsessions." Sugarcoat informed.
"That sounds about right." Applejack nodded before focusing back on her friend. "Rara, what are y'all doin here?"
"It's the strangest thing. I was busy trying to come up with a few new songs for my next album. But... I..." Coloratura tried to explain.
"You had writer's block?" Fluttershy guessed, which surprised Coloratura as she asked, "Uh, yeah, how did...?"
"We're in the same spot y'all were. We wanted to come up with something new too, but unfortunately we're a bit stuck ourselves." Applejack said.
"Same with myself and Vinyl." Octavia added, with Vinyl nodding in agreement.
"Anyway, while I was thinking, a random portal appeared from out of nowhere and I got sucked in." Coloratura finished explaining.
"Hey, that's the same thing with us." Indigo Zap informed.
"Do you girls have any idea what's going on? Or guys?" Coloratura asked.
"Beats me, we're just as clueless as you are." Leo answered as Coloratura looked at the group before looking confused.
"Wait, weren't there more of you from what Applejack told me through her letters." Coloratura noticed as the others looked at her in surprise.
"Don't worry, she promised to keep our secret. Ah have been telling her about how we got magic and saved the camp an all." Applejack assured before turning to her childhood friend to give her some answers. "Anyway, we were all comin' here, but until a certain friend of ours..." AJ started off before she leered at Keno, who chuckled sheepishly "...read an add about what some of us could get for free, which happens to be a few of our friends' trigger words, ended up rushin' off tryin ta get their hands on those."
"Pizza, Tacos, Cakes and Fashion?" Coloratura listed with a flexed eyebrow.
"That's the one." Applejack confirmed.
"Okay, before anything else happens, how about we check things out from inside." Lemon Zest suggested.
"Good idea." Adagio answered before Aria stopped her.
"What's that?" Aria asked while pointing at a large TV screen that everyone was watching which showed a man with lime green skin, red eyes and long blue hair with turquoise ends, as the hair let down, while his sideburns extend down his chin in the shape of facial hair. The man was wearing a bright green shirt that shows part of his chest near the top, a thin black necklace with a gold pendant, ankle-length teal pants with light blue patterns, purple loafers with white soles, an open black jacket with three gold buttons and a black glove on his right hand.
"Please state your names and introduce yourselves briefly." A camerawoman said before a random guy with the same skin color as the other guy, having purple hair while wearing yellow bass guitarist clothes and semi-fingerless gloves on both hands was suddenly pushed to stand next to the other guy, while had a flustered look on his face when suddenly, a random person was moving below the screen.
"Dedede. Dedede. Dedededede." A voice noised sound effects before the person popped up in the screen, showing a young woman with orange skin, magenta eyes with flower-shaped pupils, and pale yellow hair with three small pigtails and braided side bangs while wearing a sleeveless red dress with a dark red underlayer, black knee-length shorts, a black fingerless glove located on her left hand, black shoes with the toes and heels cut out and purple trim, two armbands on her left arm, and a black choker on her neck. "Heya!! The name's Mayday!! I wield the guitar!! And he is..."
"Zuke." The guy with blue hair said, though partially shy and partially mellow.
"And he plays the..." Mayday continued.
"Drums." Zuke simply added as he showed everyone his drumsticks.
"Whoa, sweet sticks." Donnie noted when he marveled at the advance looking sticks.
"And on my right is..." Mayday said when she showed the guy next to him.
"Yolo R. I handle the bass." The guy with the purple hair introduced himself.
"Pishhhhhh! And together, we’re Bunk Bed Junction! Woooo! Hey, guys. There sure has been quite a lot of electronic music in this city lately." Mayday commented.
"That’s true, May." Zuke confirmed.
"Heh, got that right, little bro." Yolo agreed.
"But you know, this city lacks a certain something. Don't you think?" Mayday asked.
"Absolutely May." Zuke nodded.
"Something that had been missing a long time, before we took up our instruments." Yolo added.
"Luckily for you guys, we have the perfect fix. Why don't you tell em Zuke?" Mayday smiled as Zuke suddenly stammered a bit, but thankfully, Yolo took over for him.
"Easy to say, May, we’re Bunk Bed Junction and we’re gonna bunka, we’re gonna junka, and we’re gonna BAM in yo faces!" Yolo whooped.
"That’s right! We’re bringing back rock! This long-forgotten art used to be the backbone of Vinyl City, you know? So be ready to listen to our super tasty riffs of-" Mayday tried to say before she was cut off but the camerawoman. "Okay, cut. That's a good take."
"Oh, already?" Mayday asked before the feed was cut.
Needless to say, the group were interested to see how they would perform.
"Hmm, they seem nice." Fluttershy noted.
"Still, I wonder what they meant by brining back rock?" Casey asked in confusion.
"Come to think of it, when I was walking down the street, i heard many different types of music playing, but I've never heard one piece of rock music in any part of the city." Coloratura remembered.
"Okay, that's definitely weird." Sunset admitted.
"Come on, let's go see how the contest is." Rainbow Dash declared with eagerness in her voice.
"Well, beats standing around doing nothing." Raph shrugged.
"My thoughts exactly." Sugarcoat agreed as everyone walked inside.
The group soon found their way towards the stadium seats and were trying to find front row seats.
"Whoa, looks like the audition is already starting." Casey noticed.
"How many have they already gone through?" Shinigami asked as April used her mind reading on one of the audience members to know.
"According to them, there's about twenty people that came to audition. And so far, fifteen have already finished." April listed.
"So we only have five more to go." Rainbow said as she sat down, with the others joining in.
"I hope that they at least brought a proper show." Aria added while she ate some nachos.
Meanwhile, from backstage, Bunk Bed Junction was walking down the hall and making their way to the arena.
"How could you forget your lines, Zuke?" Mayday lightly scolded.
"Yeah, bro, we've been over this. It's bunka, then junka, and then bam in your faces, we've been over this like, ten times already." Yolo agreed.
"I can't help it, as soon as the camera started rolling I was just... wow, the lights were just so intense, man." Zuke sighed.
"It had nothing to do with the lights, bro. See May, I told you he wouldn't get his act together in front of a camera, you know he's not comfortable speaking to a crowd." Yolo said.
"He gets comfortable when he plays." Mayday remembered.
"Playing music and talking to an audience via interview are two different things, we've been over this." Yolo reminded.
"Fine." Mayday sighed before turning to Zuke. "Don't screw this one up, okay? We have to look good in front of the world."
"Yeah, I hear ya. Maybe this time I'll..." Zuke started to say before Yolo interrupted.
"Like you're one to talk May. Remember what happened last year? The only reason we were able to get us into this audition was because of me. So you owe me for..." Yolo tried to remind before Mayday cut him off.
"Shh, quiet." Mayday shushed when she heard the noise outside. "We're almost there. Remember, be nice to the judges."
"Again, like you're one to talk." Yolo repeated as the three of them walked up to the arena.
"Well this is a disappointment." Rainbow groaned in a bored expression.
"Yeah, no kidding. The last performers' stinks." Casey agreed.
"Master Splinter could do better than that. When he used to play, that is." Raph added before grumbling that second half.
"The judges are the hardest ones to please. Especially that one." Applejack noted when she and the others looked at the Judges before Donnie's eyes widened at one of them.
"Whoa, that's Tatiana." Donnie gasped.
"Wait, as in head of NSR?" Leo asked.
"That's right. I wonder what she's doing here?" Donnie wondered.
"Probably to look for artists worthy of her time. I should know, I felt the same way when I was auditioning." Coloratura said.
"Hey look, here they come." Spike noticed as he pointed at the arena with everyone looking down and saw Bunk Bed Junction walking to the center of the arena.
"Are you ready?!" Mayday cheered.
"Why hello you two." Tatiana greeted while looking down at them.
"Wow." Mayday awed when she was surprised to see who was up there. "Hello, Tatiana!!"
"Right." Tatiana responded with an uninterested tone, which the Turtles and others caught on. "And you are?"
"We're Bunk Bed Junction." Mayday answered as she and the two guys posed.
"Bunk Bed Junction?" Tatiana repeated in confusion.
"Yes!! Because you see, NSR needs more fans." Mayday confirmed.
"So we're going to build a new junction right into your highway, so that more people can join this awesomeful party!!" Yolo explained.
"Bunkbed Junction, Woo!!" Mayday finished.
"Huh, I like her, she certainly has the enthusiasm." Karai smiled
"Agreed." A voice agreed as the others yelped when they saw Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Mikey and Sonata with a ton of cakes, pizza, tacos and shopping, with the others gawking at what they saw.
"How did you move so fast?!" Raph asked in shock.
"Please, a good lady knows when to speed up when it comes to shopping." Rarity answered before she flipped her hair a bit.
"And have you met us?" Pinkie and Mikey asked rhetorically, with Sonata nodding in agreement before they sat down and watched the show.
"Clever." Tatiana said with disinterest again. "I hope you put much thought into your music as you did with your band name."
"Hey, come on, that's just insulting." Rainbow groaned.
"Rainbow Dash!!" Rarity and Applejack scolded.
"What? I know most band names don't sound cool and all, but remember how people said the same thing about our band name?" Rainbow Dash reminded.
"Oh, right." Fluttershy muttered, remembering how everyone didn't like the name back then.
"So what will you play for us, today?" Tatiana asked.
"Oh, it's something this city needs!! We're playiiiiing!! Rock!!" Mayday answered in excitement
"Say again?" Tatiana asked. However, when Leo looked at her, he noticed how her eye twitched at the mention of it, which made him flex an eyebrow at that.
"Rock!! We're here to bring it back to the top!! Just like how Kul Fyra did a long time ago." Yolo confirmed.
"Hey, guys, check it out." Leo whispered, gaining the rest of the group's attention as he pointed at Tatiana. "Is it just me, or does she look off when they mention the word, rock."
"Come to think of it, her eye did twitch a bit." Karai noticed.
"And she gripped her fist." Shinigami added.
"And that she looks like she's hurting from even being mentioned about it." April said.
"Yeah, especially about Kul Fyra." Casey agreed as Tatiana cleared her throat.
"Really? Very well then, show me what you've got. It's time to..." Tatiana started off before the audience finished with a shout. "START!! THE!! ARENA!!"
"Awwwww yeah! Let’s rocketok!" Mayday whooped before enemy drones appeared as Mayday attacked and beat them with her electric guitar before she used her instrument’s music to transformed a case into a pole with horns at the top that roared.
"Good." Tatiana said before turning her attention to Zuke and Yolo. "And what about you, other guys? Do you two just flaunt your hair all day?"
"I play the drums." Zuke answered.
"I take the bass." Yolo added.
"Mmhmm. Initiate the second phase." Tatiana ordered.
"Show ‘em, Zuke and Yolo!" Mayday cheered.
"Yeah, I got this." Zuke agreed.
"Let’s go, little bro!" Yolo smiled as he alongside Zuke fought and defeated more enemy drones with their drumsticks and bass guitar while reflecting attacks before he transformed two cases into horns, with one of them being blue and green, having two horns that tooted with the other becoming green and yellow, having three horns that boomed.
"Very good. Now let’s see the three of you use those skills to power up the Qwasa. Initiate the final phase." Tatiana said.
"Alright, let’s do this!" Mayday smiled as the trio then fought and beat even more enemy drones and transformed more cases.
"Whoa, those guys are good!!" Pinkie Pie said in amazement.
"I didn't even know that was possible!!" Twilight awed in surprise.
"I know, right?!" Spike agreed in excitement when he saw them performing.
"Now THAT was metal!" Casey smillled
Then the trio pulled the showstopper as Mayday was playing fully on her guitar, Yolo was playing his bass with precision, and Zuke was playing his drums that appeared from out of nowhere.
"Wow!!! That's amazing!! I wish I could learn how to do that!!" Pinkie exclaimed.
Soon enough the three of them did a pose once they were done playing, which caused everyone in the audience to cheer, even the Turtles, Rainbooms and their allies.
"That was awesome!!" Rainbow Dash and Indigo Zap cheered in unison.
"That was the best performance I've ever seen!!" Lemon Zest smiled.
"Aw, if only we didn't have writer's block, we so would've played down there too." Pinkie pouted.
"Same here, if we do one day form a band." Mikey agreed.
After the audience was done cheering, Mayday, Yolo and Zuke stood tall and proud.
"Yeah!! We did it!! We finished the course!!" Mayday whooped.
"Thank you!! Thank you!!" Yolo smiled as he waved to the audience.
"Oh, there's so much electric in this room!!" Mayday noticed.
"How do you think it went?" Tatiana asked in an uninterested tone.
"Brilliantly." Mayday answered.
"We hope we passed the audition." Yolo added.
"Thought you'd say that." Tatiana noted before she turned to the other judgdes. "Fellas, what do you think?"
Suddenly, one of the judges gave them a red X, which shocked the Turtles and group.
"Well, one out of six aint' so..." Mayday started to say before they suddenly got another X. "Heeeeey, now wait a minute there..."
Another X.
"Can you just listen to..." Yolo tried to ask before another X came long.
"Zuke!! Say something!!" Mayday whispered loudly.
"Uhm... Ta-da?" Zuke said in confusion.
"Seriously?!" Yolo asked, which they ended up getting another X.
"Hey, what gives?!" Rainbow deadpanned.
"Yeah, they gave a great audience!!" Indigo Zap agreed.
"How can they just turn it down like that, Yo!!" Casey gasped in disgust.
"That woman's worse than Simon Cowell!!" Keno noted.
"For realsies!!" Sonata agreed.
"Hold on, hold on." Tatiana said, catching everyone's attention. "I'll be blunt. You came here, for us to judge you. And it looks like my artists have spoken. You have no future in the show business."
"What?!" Mayday gasped in shock.
"But...but we passed the arena...." Zuke pointed out.
"We did everything you asked us to, and we did our best!!" Yolo agreed.
"We reserve the right to reject you. Even if you finished the course. We, have the final say in everything." Tatiana responded
"That's not fair!!" Mayday growled.
"That's an abuse of power!!" Mikey shouted before his brothers grabbed and pulled him down in order for him to be quiet.
"Please. We run on talent, not on fairness. This audition is held to find the next best musician, who meets our standarts in excellence. And you, certainly didn't qualify." Tatiana scoffed, angering Mayday enough to lose her cool.
"Well, that's rich coming from a bunch of wannabee artists!!" Mayday responded.
"Mayday!!" Yolo yelled in shock as the entire audience gasped at what she said, even the Turtles, Rainbooms and friends were shocked by what she said. Finally, Tatiana gave them an X too.
"See that X? It means you're done. If I were you, I'd swallow my pride and use this time to rethink my career." Tatiana coldly advised.
"You can't do this to us!!" Yolo growled.
"I just did." Tatiana retorted in bitterness, one that Leo recognized.
"No!! I'm an artist!! I'm a performer. A performer!! I belong on this stage!!" Mayday argued.
"Okay, I've heard enough. Thank you very much, off you go." Tatiana shooed off.
"You haven't heard the last of me!! Okay?! What do you know about rock?! I've bet you've never held a guitar in your life!!" Mayday shouted.
"Okay, even I think this is getting out of line." Mikey noted.
"Little brother, for once, I completely agree with you." Raph admitted as Tatiana stood up and had that bitterness and anger in her face, which Leo noticed.
"Something's definitely off." Leo muttered.
"Okay, listen, honey. You think, you can just walk in here, and drag us all into your little fantasy? You are so naive to think that rock, is still relevant. Stop living in the past!! There's only one music in demand right now, and that is..." Tatiana started as she extended her arms and showed all other performers behind her, "EDM!! The age of rock, is over!! EDM rules this city."
And suddenly, Mayday ran up to Tatiana and pointed her finger at her. "Oh yeah?!! Well how about you!! Take all these X-es and shove it up your...!!"
Suddenly, security came and took them away.
"Come on guys, we'd better go." Sunset suggested.
"Agreed, let's go." Leo nodded as everyone left, with Leo looking at Tatiana one last time before leaving.
Right outside, Bunk Bed Junction were tossed outside. Though Yolo and Zuke were still standing, Mayday was on the ground.
"Great job, Mayday!! Once again, you got us kicked out without making a solid case!!" Yolo groaned.
"Yolo, they denied us from playing from the beginning and we didn't even know it." Zuke replied, trying to calm him.
"Pff, whatever." Yolo scoffed as he crossed his arms.
"They can't do this to us!! It's not cool!! It's super not cool!!" Mayday growled while sitting up.
"Can't believe they called us 'Naive'." Zuke noted.
"I can't believe they claim that we still live in the past. Pff, the only thing that's not wanted is Disco, you don't see them complaining." Yolo added.
"Right?! That was Bulldozer, Bulldozer, you hear me?!" Mayday said
"I feel you man, I do." Zuke responded, trying to calm the situation. "Listen, I know this didn't go as you planned..."
"You think?!" Mayday asked rhetorically.
"But... it's not good getting worked up over an empty stomach. Why don't we head back first and grab some burgers? On me." Zuke sugguested.
"Ugh!! Fine." Mayday groaned
"Need some help?" A voice asked as Bunk Bed Junction turned to the voice and saw a large group of people going to them, which at first surprised them, but not as surprised as they were when seeing walking turtles that look human. Sunset walked over and offered to help Mayday up whiled smiling, to which she accepted, allowing Sunset to pull her up.
"Who are all of you?" Mayday asked as a new adventure would soon begin.
After being kicked out, Bunk Bed Junction were still reeling over of what just happened, that was, until a large group of individuals arrived and helped Mayday up. The band was surprised to see a group they've never seen before, and that one of them was willing to help them out. "Who are all of you?" Mayday asked.
"Oh, my name is Sunset Shimmer, and these are my friends." said Sunset as she introduced herself before she motioned to the others. "That there's Fluttershy."
"Um, hello." Fluttershy greeted shyly with a shy wave, which Yolo and Zuke couldn't help but smile over her adorableness.
"That there's Pinkie Pie." Sunset continued.
"Party planner extraordinaire!!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she suddenly pulled out a tray of cupcakes "Cupcakes?"
The three of them were surprised to see her pulling Cupcakes from out of nowhere. They looked at one another, shrugged their shoulders and accepted them, with the latter tasting them.
"Hey, this is pretty good." Zuke noted.
"The best." Mayday agreed, which caused Pinkie to smile and hug her tightly.
"Thank you!!" Pinkie Pie smiled with her usual smile.
"I like her." Mayda said as she couldn't help but smile before Pinkie broke the hug.
"And that there's Applejack." Sunset added
"Howdy." The cowgirl greeted.
"Then there's Rarity." Sunset continued.
"Pleasure to meet your acquaintance." Rarity greeted while she presented her hand. At first, the band was confused, until Zuke went over and gently held Rarity's hand and kissed it. "My, quite the gentleman."
"I get around." Zuke shrugged with a shrug on his shoulders.
"That there's Rainbow Dash." Sunset said.
"Su'p." Rainbow smiled with a wave.
"That there's Twilight." Sunset added.
"Hello there." Twilight replied until Spike popped up from her bag. "And this is Spike."
"Aw, what a cutie." Mayday gushed as she rubbed his head.
"Oh yeah." Spike smiled, which surprised the three.
"Talking dog?" Zuke asked.
"Huh, cool." Yolo smiled while crossing his arms.
"And awesome!!" Mayday added as she picked Spike up and petted him.
"Finally, someone who isn't freaked out or asking me if I could talk." Spike smirked.
"These two are also our classmates. That there's Octavia Melody..." Sunset started.
"Greetings." The cello player replied while curtsying.
"And Vinyl Scratch, or otherwise known as DJ-PON3" Sunset added, with Vinyl giving them a two finger salute.
"This here's mah friend from out of town, she goes by Countess Coloratura." Applejack said, standing next to her friend.
"But you can call me, Rara." Rara added.
"Countess?" Mayday asked in confusion.
"She's known as the queen of pop." Pinkie Pie explained..
"Oh, a Pop star. I thought you had the look." Yolo noted.
"I do?" Rara said, confused.
"My brother can tell people just by looking at ‘em, it's a gift." Zuke informed.
"And from what I have to guess, you guys are from a high school." Yolo noticed before looking at the Shadowbolts and Dazzlings. "But I assume that they don't go to the same school with you."
"Not really." Twilight responded before starting with the Shadowbolts. "These are my old classmates from my old School. These are Sour Sweet, Lemon Zest, Indigo Zap, Sunny Flare and Sugarcoat."
The group of friends greeted themselves in their own way. "They used to be our rivals, but now we're close friends with one another." Sunset informed.
"Same with us. Well, except we were sort of enemies, but now we're friends. Anyway, my name is Sonata Dusk. And these two are my sisters, Adagio Dazzle..." Sonata added.
"Hi." Adagio replied.
"And Aria Blaze." Sonata finished with Aria just waving to them.
"These are also our more unique friends. The one with the swords and blue mask is Leonardo. The one with the bo-staff and purple mask is Donatello. The one with the orange mask and nun-chuks is Michelangelo." Sunset informed.
"Whattup." Mikey greeted playfully before he got smacked at the back of his head by Raph.
"And the one with the sais, red mask and bad attitude, Raphael." Sunset added.
"Huh, named after the famous Renaissance painters?" Zuke noted as he crossed his arms and looked at them.
The Turtles were surprised by this, before Mikey whispered to his brothers, "I guess there are some parts of our world that's the same as this one."
"Are you guys ninjas?" Yolo asked when he pointed at their weapons.
"That's right." Leo answered.
"We were trained to be ninjas since we were young." Donnie added.
"Huh, cool." Yolo smiled while he crossed his arms.
"And these are the rest of our friends. That there's April O'Neil, Casey Jones, Keno, Karai and Shinigami." Leo introduced.
"Nice to meet you guys. And-" Zuke was about to say before Aria cut him off.
"We know, Mayday, Zuke and Yolo." Aria responded.
"We saw you guys on the interview before your performance." Adagio added.
"Yeah, it was metal, yo!! The most Awesome song I've ever heard." Casey cheered.
"Until you guys got denied and kicked out." Pinkie Pie sighed, which caused Mayday to groan.
"And that was so unfair. You guys gave a great performance." Rainbow Dash said.
"Yeah, they wouldn't know good quality music if it jumped out of the screen and punched them in the face." Keno added.
"I know, right?!" Mayday agreed.
"So where are you guys from?" Zuke asked while ignoring Mayday's rant.
"It's...kind of hard to explain." Leo noted.
"You know, why don't we walk and talk whilst go getting some burgers. You can tell us everything along the way." Zuke offered.
"Sure." Applejack responded.
Everyone continued to walk down the street to a burger joint, but Zuke asked them to take a different route, which they did while at the same time, they explained everything to them. As Mayday was still fuming over what happened and groaning whilst listening to tons of NSR ads, Zuke and Yolo listened to them word for word after they were surprised to hear that they're from another world.
"So let me get this straight; You four were once ordinary turtles, until your pops got affected by a chemical called Mutagen, that turned him into a humanoid rat and you four into humanoid turtles. And he trained you lot in the art of Ninjitsu and you guys protected New York from enemies like the Kraang, Purple Dragons and so on?" Zuke asked.
"And these five joined you, later on. She joined when her father was taken, has telepathic powers and also trained to be a ninja, with Casey here joining later on. Karai was once taken and thought that your enemy was her real father, then she joined you to defeat him. And that's also how Shinigami came along. And Keno happens to be a pizza delivery boy, who's also trained in martial arts?" Yolo added.
"That sums it up, yes." Donnie simply answered.
"Wow, awesome." Yolo smiled, being impressed as Zuke looked at the Rainbooms.
"And you guys are from the same world as the Turtles, except for Sunset, who happens to be a unicorn and came from Equestria, was a bad guy, but became good thanks to you guys. Then you later gained extra power in order to fight your enemies. The Dazzlings were also enemies, who once allied themselves with the Shredder, but then switched to your side, whilst also being trained in Ninjitsu like the others." Zuke noted.
"And the Shadowbolts were also trained in Ninjitsu with you lot. Cool. So...how'd you end up here?" Yolo added as they nodded.
"It started out back at school, we were visiting the girls, only to find out they were sort of in the dumps." Leo started.
"The dumps?" Zuke asked.
"That's right. They were sort of having song writer's block." Donnie answered
"Song writer?" Yolo noted in surprise, with Mayday snapping out of it and looked at them.
"Wait, you girls are in a band?" Mayday asked.
"Separate actually. Me and my friends from CHS are known as the Rainbooms." Rainbow Dash informed.
"Nice. And you lot?" Mayday added.
"My sisters and I perform together, We're known as the Dazzlings." Adagio introduced.
"I perform with an orchestra, but on rare occasions, Vinyl and I play our music together." Octavia explained.
"Wait, a DJ and an Orchestra player? Nice, I bet no one in the city had ever thought of that." Yolo noted.
"Anyway, what's this about you girls being in the dumps?" Zuke asked.
"See, we've played every song we could think of, and some of them over and over. But lately they've become..." Sunset tried to say.
"Old and stale?" Mayday guessed.
"Exactly." Applejack confirmed.
"Oh, we've been there. When we first started out, we also had trouble. So sometimes we play random melodies in order for us to find the inspiration we needed." Yolo empathized.
"Anyway, we were also running out of ideas for different songs, even the ones Rainbow and Fluttershy were stuck." Twilight said.
"We wanted to perform, but we're still a little rusty. It's been a while since we performed any of our songs." Aria informed.
"Even both mine and Vinyl's were old and stale." Octavia added with Vinyl nodding in agreement.
"I couldn't come up with one either, and the worst part is, my next album release is in two months, and I don't have anything to come up or work with." Rara pointed out.
"What about you?" Yolo asked, looking at the Shadowbolts.
"We came to CHS because we wanted to form a band too." Sour Sweet answered.
"But we don't know where to start." Lemon Zest pointed out.
"Like who's going to play what, what kind of genre should we play, who's going to come up with songs?" Indigo Zap listed.
"Especially a proper band name since we can't use our Shadowbolt title, considering it belongs to our school and we didnt want to get sued from copyright infringement." Sugarcoat added.
"We didn't know how to help them out, considering we didn't have any experience. Then Mikey jinxed us and wished that we were here." Raph growled.
"Well how was I supposed to know that a random portal was going to open from out of nowhere like before!!" Mikey retorted.
"This happened before?" Mayday asked while they were near an electronic store.
"Twice with separate groups." Sonata answered.
"Yeah, me, Mikey and Sonata, and the other time with Rarity, Karai and Adagio." Pinkie listed.
"And you guys were hoping to come up with an inspiration for the next song." Yolo noted.
"Well you're in luck. When it comes to coming up with songs, this city can..." Zuke tried to lighten the mood before he was suddenly interrupted when they heard, "Bunkbed Junction, going all in for the final course."
"Hey, look, we're on TV. Isn't that great?" Zuke smiled.
"We look good on camera." Yolo noted.
"Oh, hey." Mayday growled as Zuke calmly crossed his arms while they and the others were watching.
"I think this is a good time for us to reflect back at our shortcomings. Knowing NSR, they probably have unimaginably high standards when it comes to picking their candidates." Zuke suggested.
"Too high if you ask me." Raph scoffed.
"Raph's right, I can't believe they judged you just like that without giving it a chance." Casey agreed.
"Though I noticed something was off about her." Leo noted, which gained Zuke and Yolo's attention.
"What do you mean?" Zuke asked while Mayday was focused on the TV and saw something on the background, as everything lit up and was shocked to see something.
"W-wait. Did you guys see that? We powered the Qwasa almost to full capacity." Mayday pointed out.
"Whoa, and at forty seven percent too." Yolo counted.
"Hmmm, that is odd." Zuke noted.
"Qwasa?" The others asked in confusion.
"Qwasa is sort of like our electricity line. They're connected to our instruments and our equipment. The more music we play, the more powerful they become, which in turn creates more energy." Yolo explained.
"Whoa. This is amazing." Twilight awed, now wanting to research Qwasa.
"Oh great, Egghead mode again." Rainbow groaned while rolling her eyes.
"Those lying idiots!! How could they scrap us when we outperformed all the other contestants?!" Mayday growled.
"I wonder why?" Rarity whispered to the others, who nodded in agreement.
"This is totally rigged, we need to take action!!" Mayday declared.
"But there's nothing we can do about it." Zuke responded as Yolo groaned.
"There's always something we can do Zuke, believe me." Mayday pointed out.
"Oh no you don't, I know that look, you can forget it!!" Yolo growled
"What?! You just wanna give up like that?!" Mayday asked in shock.
"Need I remind you the reason why Biggs and Tank left?!" Yolo reminded as Mayday winced at that and looked away.
"Whoa, not cool, bro." Zuke said.
"Deny it all you want Zuke, it's the truth." Yolo responded.
"Who's Biggs and Tank?" Karai asked.
"Uh, Biggs and Tank were also part of our band once. Whilst May is lead, Yolo is Bass and I the drums, Biggs played the Keytar whilst Tank played the Rhythm Guitar." Zuke nervously explained.
"There were more band members?" April noted in surprise.
"There were, until..." Zuke tried to explain.
"Until last year when we were auditioning, Mayday ended up throwing a hissy fit when they criticized us and trashed the entire auditioning set, because of her we were banned, and both Biggs and Tank left when Mayday ruined their chance in becoming stars, hence why NSR kept us in their radars because of her outburst." Yolo informed.
"Let's... just get going." Mayday sadly said as she walked, with Yolo walking further behind her.
"Uh, Biggs and Tank were also her big sisters. They were like best friends, but now they don't even speak." Zuke sighed.
"Oh dear." Rarity softly gasped.
"Didn't they try to talk and work things out?" Fluttershy asked in concern.
"Mayday tried once or twice, but once her sisters made up their mind, there was no going back." Zuke sighed as the others felt bad for Mayday now. "But seeing that we're still taking the route, there's something we wanna show you." Zuke noted as everyone soon walked off to the edge of Vinyl City, the route he talked about. "Ahhh, Vinyl City. I’ll never grow tired of seeing this."
"So beautiful." April awed.
"This makes New York look like a kiddy town." Casey admitted.
"Wish we had a city like this." Mikey said.
"Yeah, think of all the fun we could have." Indigo Zap agreed.
"And the awesome entertainment." Rainbow Dash added.
"You know, maybe we are being too hard on NSR. Just look at how much the city has thrived ever since they took over." Zuke said.
"Wonder what it was like before that?" Karai thought out loud.
"Oh no, Zuke. You did not just say that." Mayday groaned.
"Yeah, after the way they kicked you guys out." Spike agreed.
"Come on, I know it sucks, that they didn't pick us, but I'd like to believe that they did it based on fair, unbiased judgement." Zuke responded, looking on the bright side.
"Ah wouldn't exactly call the way they just dismissed y'all bein' fair." Applejack replied.
"Oh, I quite agree. They shouldn't judge one by the other's covers because of it." Rarity nodded.
"People of Vinyl City, this is Tatiana." A voice said as everyone looked up and saw a blimp flying by, with Tatiana speaking on the screen.
"Oh great, it's the old windbag." Raph scoffed while crossing his arms.
"What does she want, now?" Yolo asked.
"In light of the abysmal performance of a certain trio, that we all had the unfortunate pleasure of having to sit through, I would like to announce, is hereby banned from future lights up auditions." Tatiana announced.
"What?!!" Everybody on the ground exclaimed in shocl.
"As well as banning any other kind of food that is related to rock music, starting with pizza." Tatiana added as Sonata suddenly blinked
"Uh-oh." Sonata dreaded as she and the others, minus Bunk Bed Junction, slowly looked at Mikey, whose eye twitched at what she said.
"Th-th-th-th-they...banned Pizza?" Mikey uttered before he suddenly so loud, the entire city shook. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
"For a better prospect at winning, we suggest that you stick with what works: EDM. Remember, we strive through… ORDER. Order leads to progress in Vinyl City. That is all, have a pleasant evening." Tatiana bid farewell.
"What?! What the SLIMY POSSUM DID SHE SAY?!" Mayday growled in fury.
"But she can't do that!? Rock is part of music, you can't just ban it for no reason because of one's outburst!!" Casey pointed out.
"Yeah!! That means the Rainbooms can't play either!!" Rainbow Dash added as even the Rainbooms were shocked to hear this, while Fluttershy and Sonata were trying their best to comfort Mikey as he was whimpering on the ground.
"Oh dear." Zuke muttered in worry.
"You can say that again." Yolo agreed.
"Zuke, Yolo, this discrimination is so obvious!! NSR can't do something like this!! Who do these people think they are?" Mayday exclaimed.
"Uh..." Pinkie tried to say as she wanted to say something.
"It's rhetorical, Pinkie." Adagio pointed out.
"Oooooh." Pinkie Pie noted.
"Wait, wait, wait. There must be arational explanation for this..." Zuke tried to say as Mayday kept on ranting. "May?"
"May." Yolo said in annoyance, but before anyone could react, Raph slapped Mayday in the face, which shocked him and the others.
"Will you knock it off!!" Raph shouted as Mayday winced from his screaming. "We get it, you're upset, but the only one who's really upset, is Mikey!!" Raph pointed out as they saw how he's still whimpering on the ground over Pizza being banned. "So will you stop overreacting already!!"
"He's right May. Look around you. NSR may be jerks..." Zuke started.
"Which is an understatement." Yolo pointed out.
"But you can't deny that they are doing a great job at governing this city..." Zuke tried to explain before the entire city suddenly went into a citywide blackout, with everything going dark, and that the only thing to light is a random blip talking about NSR.
"Zuke." Mayday growled.
"Yes?" Zuke asked.
"If I could see your face, I'd punch it." Mayday admitted.
"Allow me." Raph said before punching him in the face.
"Ow!! How the heck could you see me?!" Zuke said in confusion.
"We're ninjas, we're sometimes trained to see in the dark." Raph answered when suddenly to their surprise, only a handful of buildings with NSR's logos were alight, whilst the rest of the city remained dark, which shocked the rest.
"What?!" Mayday gasped in disbelief as the others couldn't believe it either.
"No way." Leo muttered.
"You guys, see that?!" Sour Sweet asked.
"Whoa..." Keno said.
"I don't believe it." Shinigami noted.
"So the rest of the city remains dark while only the NSR elite gets power?" Leo asked.
"But if that's the case than the rest of the city will suffer!!" Twilight realized.
"The economy, the hospitals, the small businesses..." Sunset listed.
"Even those that were going to star their new business." Spike added in shock.
"That's messed up." Zuke noted.
"No brother, this is beyond messed up." Yolo corrected
"First, they rejected you guys." Rainbow Dash started.
"Then they denied rock to you guys." Casey added
"And now they think they can keep the energy from the general public?!" Mayday finished.
"This... This is absolutely wrong!! They're abusing their power!! This isn't what the founders of this city, stood for!!" Yolo growled
"I hate to say this, but I think you might be onto something." Zuke admitted.
"Finally!! You're making sense!!" Mayday smiled, before looking at Zuke and Yolo. "So tell me you two. What are we gonna do to someone who messes with the good people of Vinyl City?"
Zuke was surprised as he looked down and thought about in a split second, with Yolo soon having a determined look.
"Oh, we're gonna Bunka..." Zuke started.
"We're gonna Junka..." Yolo continued.
"And we're gonna BAM in their faces!!" The two brothers finished with determination.
"Yes!! Now you're talking!!" Mayday smiled before she suddenly felt a hand, and looked back and saw Leo with a determined look.
"If you're going to help the people of Vinyl City, count me and my brothers in." Leo said.
"Same with the Rainbooms." Sunset added with the rest of the Rainbooms voicing in tow.
"And us." Indigo Zap agreed with the rest of the Shadowbolts in agreement.
"I'll help too." Rara nodded.
"So will I and Vinyl." Octavia added with Vinyl giving determined nod.
"And us too." The Dazzlings agreed.
"We're in too." April and the rest of their New York friends nodded.
"Alright, we got us a small band of rebels!!" Mayday smiled.
"Wait, before we do, one thing we gotta do first." Donnie noted before pulling out a small device. "Good thing I carried this with me just in case."
"What could you get that's so important?!" Rainbow asked.
"Your ninja weapons and intruments?" Donnie responded while looking at them with flexed eyebrows. The others blinked at this, then blushed in embarrassment while giggling sheepishly, since they did forget about that, causing them, minus the turtles to walk through. Within moments, everyone came back with their weapons and intruments in tow, which surprised Bunk Bed Junction.
"Whoa, you weren't kidding about getting your weapons and instruments." Mayday noted.
"Now that's awesome." Yolo said.
"Yeah, we are." Rainbow smiled.
"So, where do we start?" Sunset asked as Mayday looked down and suddenly pointed down.
"Down there." Mayday pointed out as everyone looked down and saw an NSR building, which looked like... a planetarium?
"Is that a planetarium?" Twilight asked in surprise.
"Huh, looks like DJ Subatomic Supernova is prepping for a performance." Zuke noted.
"Perfect." Mayday smiled before turning to the others, "Alright everyone, this is it. Today, we stand up to NSR. Are you with me?!"
"Yeah!!" Everyone cheered.
"What do you propose we do?" Yolo asked.
"We, are gonna hijack their concert!!" Mayday answered.
"Sweet!! I always wanted to hijack a concert!!" Casey smiled.
"No more injustice!! It's time we fight EDM with the power of Rock!! The music revolution, starts now!!" Mayday declared.
"Oooh, I like that title." Mikey noted.
"Let's rocketok!!" Mayday whooped as she and Bunk Bed Junction jumped down.
"Rockatok? Huh, I like it, it's very catchy." Sunset admitted
"Let's go guys!!" Leo urged as everyone jumped after Bunk Bed Junction. For the battle, had only just begun.
Soon enough, everyone arrived at the front of DJ Subatomic Supernova's place, with everyone seeing how big it is.
"Whoa... This place is huge." Twilight said in surprise and a wide smile as Applejack gave Coloratura something.
"Makes the one in Canterlot City look like a small house." Spike noted, remembering his time at the Planetarium.
"Okay, before we go in." Leo started as he stopped Bunk Bed Junction. "We need to know more about who we're facing."
"Really, Leo? He just looks like a rapper." Raph deadpanned.
"Raph, Master Splinter once told us that to face your enemy, you need to understand and know your enemy." Leo reminded.
"Right. In other words, we can't expect him to fight like our enemies." Karai agreed as Bunk Bed Junction was surprised by the wisdom Leo gave.
"You know what, it wouldn't be a bad idea, considering that they're from out of town and we grew up with music." Zuke said.
"Huh, I suppose not." Mayday admitted as they place their weapons away.
"If you have to know, DJ Subatomic Supernova happens to be one of NSR's Mega stars. And his theme is space." Yolo informed.
"He's also one of the best DJ's in Vinyl City. He also runs the entire district we're standing on. It's called the Cast Tech District." Zuke explained.
"And everything there, they're in charge of everything space and science related." Mayday added.
"He uh, also has a big ego." Zuke noted.
"Oh, don't worry, we know someone in our group like that." Applejack sighed as she and a couple of others look at Rainbow Dash.
"What?! Why is everybody looking at me?!" said Rainbow, not getting where they were going with this.
"And to make matters worse, he also thinks that everyone is inferior to him and says that everyone who even tries to play DJ, thinks that they're nothing but a bunch of weak-minded talentless buffoons." Yolo groaned in annoyance.
"On second thought, nevermind." Applejack corrected herself. However, from underneath her glasses, Vinyl's eye was twitching. For what he had said about anybody trying to play DJ, or the same level of music she did... that had gone too far.
"Come on, yo!! Less wasting time and more kicking butt!!" Mikey urged before Yolo grabbed him and put the turtle in a headlock.
"You're still upset about the whole pizza thing?" Yolo asked as Mikey slowly nodded, feeling like he was going to lose oxygen. "Well then stop thinking about it!! We can make pizza after we're done. Not everyone eats pizza from a store, you know!!"
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Mikey remembered as he stopped resisting while some facepalmed.
"I even did that one time. And he somehow forgets it?" Keno groaned.
"So, given his status, I assume that there will be tons of security?" Casey assumed.
"No doubt about that. What kind of security are we going to expect?" Shinigami asked.
"NSR robots. Same one at the arena, but different." Zuke answered after Yolo released Mikey's head from his arm.
"Though we might expect some human security, too." Mayday added.
"Hmm... Well we won't be able to hack them..." Donnie noted.
"Seems highly unlikely considering how we saw how they fight." Sugarcoat bluntly said.
"We'll try to make it work." Lemon Zest responded.
"But we'll also have to watch our step. We'll need to be prepared for anything for just in case." Adagio pointed out.
"Agreed. Let's go." Leo declared as everyone pulled out their weapons/instruments before they darted off towards the entrance of the Club.
Meanwhile, from inside the club, the beats were being played and the people were somewhat dancing, while from atop the stage, sitting on what appeared to be a DJ throne, DJ Subatomic Supernova was sitting on his chair, making a phone call whilst holding some ice cream in his left hand at the same time. "Billions upon billions of organisms reside on this tiny planet, each meticulously designed to fulfill their given purpose. Yet, you... you barely reach the cusp of mediocrity. You can't even handle a simple satellite launch procedure!!" DJ Subatomic Supernova angrily yelled as he tossed his phone away before collapsing onto his chair. "Such incompetence. It's not rocket science. I mean it us, but... Can someone fetch me some fresh Mr. Dodo Ice Pops!! This one's all melted!!" The DJ ordered in frustration as he tossed his ice cream away and again collapsed onto his chair. "Great, what else could possibly go wrong, today?"
"Hi-yah!" Mayday and Rainbow Dash roared, kicking the door open, making the DJ yelp as he slowly turned around and aw that he appeared to have some uninvited guests. They immediately went over to him, while Vinyl took one good look at him and had her hands bawled in a fist, and also stomps towards him.
"That's the DJ?" Sour Sweet asked in disbelief while walking towards him.
"That's right." Yolo confirmed.
"Ugh, he looks so ghastly. Especially with those unshaven legs!!" Rarity shrieked.
"Focus, Rarity!!" Applejack urged.
"Yeah, you can complain about him looking ghastly another time!!" Aria agreed as the group soon made their way towards the front of the stage.
"What are you NSR people, doing?!" Mayday growled.
"Yeah!! Do you have any idea what's going on out there?!" Rainbow Dash agreed.
"Yeah, it's so dark outside, I can't see a thing!!" Coloratura nodded.
"We're not getting enough electricity!!" Yolo pointed out.
"And all you guys do is party!!" Mayday added.
"What's wrong with a party?!" Mikey asked, not getting what was going on.
"Not now, Mikey!!" The Rainbooms, minus Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, shouted in annoyance as DJ Supernova on the other hand, didn't pay heed to them at all.
"Who are these lot? Have they purchased the privilege pass to converse with me?" DJ Subatomic asked in disinterest.
"Huh?!" The group asked in shock.
"You don't remember us?!" Mayday shouted.
"We just met at the audition you oversized globe head!!" Yolo yelled.
"And how could you not remember them?!" Sonata Dusk added.
"Yeah, you just met them!!" April agreed.
"And I thought Rainbow had a bad memory." Applejack sighed with a smirk while teasing Rainbow at the same time.
"Hey!!" Rainbow exclaimed at the insult.
"Anyhow!! Bunk Bed Junction!! That's who we are!!" Mayday informed, pointing at DJ Subatomic.
"And we're putting a stop to NSR from controlling everything!!" Yolo added while standing beside her.
"Not to mention from making everyone miserable whilst they face constant blackouts!!" Sunset shouted for the people.
"Do you have any idea what something like this could do to the economy?!" Donnie pointed out.
"Exactly!! And the people deserve to know what rock is all about!!" Mayday declared.
"Rock?" DJ Supernova noted, pretending to ponder and care. "Fascinating. Hmm, that is fascinating, your limited aspirations, your... misplaced efforts. You remind me of... Pluto! Once thought to be a planet of the solar system, but no longer is."
"What?! Pluto!?" Mayday shouted, but not having a clue what was going on, withe everyone else being baffled by what he said.
"He's basically saying that we're idiots and that we don't fit in the musical equation." Sugarcoat bluntly clarified.
"What?!" The others gasped in shock and anger.
"Ok, now that's just insulting!!" Lemon Zest growled, clearly steamed up about it.
"Zuke, what he said about us was bad, right?" Mayday asked, whispering to Zuke as he pondered about that for a bit.
"Well, being a Dwarf Planet isn't all bad..." Zuke thought
"Seriously?" Yolo muttered as he couldn't believe how dense those two were before the two of them were slapped behind their heads by Raph.
"Ow!!" Mayday and Zuke exclaimed.
"I think we're getting off topic here!!" Raph pointed out before everyone heard the sound of someone tsking over and over, only to see it was DJ Supernova, shaking his head at them at their density.
"Your intellect is strikingly shallow, as everyone else's. What I'm trying to say that you Plutonians are no longer irrelevant." DJ Supernova simply said.
"Okay, how did we get stuck about talking about planets?" Leo asked, being slightly annoyed.
"Well..." Pinkie started to say as she pulled out a tour book of Vinyl City and was reading a section about DJ Supernova. "According to this, not only DJ Supernova one of the best DJs, but he also has a master's degree and a PHD in astronomy."
"Oh yeah, now I remember." Zuke noted.
"Say what?! So you think your music is so relevant la issit?" Mayday questioned, focused on Subatomic Supernova as the DJ then stood up and was prepared to face them.
"Do you know, who I am?" DJ Subatomic asked as he now focused his sights on his new prey.
"A man with a globe for a face?" Pinkie Pie guessed while tilting her head.
"A man who is seriously in need of a wardrobe change to cover his hideous legs?" Rarity gagged in disgust.
"I… Am… DJ Subatomic Supernova! My music will reach the furthest corners of the galaxy. What have you done today? Simpletons!" DJ Subatomic Supernova growled.
"Oh yeah?!" Raph shouted as he had his Sais ready. "Oh, I'll show you!!"
However, Vinyl was suddenly up front, blocking them using her one arm, gaining their attention. She stood there motionless, until she slowly looked at the others. Octavia looked and slightly gasped, and saw the look in her eye.
"Oh dear... She has the Eye of the DJ." Octavia feared.
"The Eye of the DJ?!" Five out of seven of the Rainbooms gasped in horror.
"The what?" The others asked in confusion.
"Uh..." Applejack began as she was somewhat nervous. "Put simply, when Vinyl sees another DJ, and that DJ claims that they're better, she gets competitive and prove to them that they're not."
"Why else do you think she's known as Canterlot City's DJ queen?" Rainbow Dash added in equal worry, with Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie nodding in agreement as Everyone, including Mayday, Zuke and Yolo were surprised to hear of this whilst looking at her.
"You really wanna do this, huh?" Zuke asked, with Vinyl nodding at that.
"Well then, go get him!!" Mayday ordered with a smile as Vinyl smiled and nodded whilst walking over to the DJ, facing him.
DJ Supernova noticed Vinyl stepping forward. "Oh? And who are you?" The DJ scoffed as Vinyl suddenly had a glare and pressed the top of her belt, causing the belt buckle to deploy a square like object, she began to twirl it until it was big and within a split second, she had her own DJ set right in front of her and had a determined look. "Oh!!" DJ Supernova yelped as he was startled by what he had seen, but not as shocked and baffled as the rest were whilst their jaws dropped.
"What?! How?! Huh?!" Rainbow gasped as she didn't know what to expect.
"How did you...?!" Twilight tried to ask as she was also shocked.
Vinyl smirked and pointed at Donnie, causing everyone to look at him as he was somewhat sheepish. "I... may have created a mobile DJ set for her to make things easier for her." Donnie said in a sheepish tone as Vinyl looked forward and had a determined look.
Everyone watched as both Vinyl and DJ Supernova were mixing and listening to their tunes at the same time, both sides determined to try to oust or defeat the other. Suddenly, a handful of planets that's about the size of a human, appeared in the DJ ring, which shocked the others. DJ Supernova uses his DJ skills to send one straight to Vinyl.
"Vinyl, watch...!!!" Yolo tried to call out but at the moment when the planet was close enough, Vinyl suddenly did a mix, causing the planet next to her to explode, shocking everybody by what they were seeing, but not as shocked as DJ Subatomic Supernova was when he saw her did that.
"Most impressive. Finally, a worthy opponent!!" DJ Supernova chuckled as the two of them continued to mix, until Vinyl's DJ mix board suddenly came to life and created shadow hands and shadow bats, which surprised everyone. With one swift motion of her DJ, she sent them flying straight towards Supernova, bashing and knocking him a couple of times that made him grunt.
"Whoa, she's amazing!" Mayday exclaimed when she saw Vinyl's skills.
"Told you she's known as the DJ Queen back at our home!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Aw yeah, Vinyl's got some mad skills, yo!!" Casey cheered in excitement.
"Get them!!" DJ Subatomic growled as within a split second, many security and NSR robots appeared in front of the DJ.
"Finally, some action!!" Raph smirked as everyone got ready.
"Let's, rock." Leo declared, which surprised the others by what he said as they looked at him oddly. "What?"
"Uh... you sure you wanna use that?" Mayday asked.
"Yeah, not exactly your cup of tea." Zuke added.
"Just shut up and punch something." Leo groaned.
"Now you're speaking my language!!" Raph smiled as everyone charged.
Octavia sped past some robots with her jitte daggers drawn out before she sheathed them, as said robots suddenly split in half cleanly, while Coloratura brought out what Applejack gave her, revealed to be trench knives, as she pummeled and slashed some robots. Leo performed a twister and sliced two robots in half, while Raph jumped in the air and smashed an NSR robot from above while piercing another with his sais, as Donnie used his Bo-Staff to whack some of the security guards away, with Michelangelo jumping in the air and shouted "Booyakasha!!" before landing on the first security and whacked them with his nunchucks. Rainbow Dash used her superspeed to dash around and trip many of the guards, Twilight used her powers to lift up a few robots and tossed them away, while Sunset jumped up and tossed her Kunai daggers, disabling them in the process, as Fluttershy used her Blowgun to knock out a few security guards, Pinkie used her exploding sprinkles to disorient the security, while Applejack used her strength to grab and toss one away, as Rarity used her Geode shield to knock one of the security guards unconscious as a third was screaming when Spike was biting him on his behind. Adagio jumped up and sliced a few robots, Sonata used her Tonfas to knock out a few security guards and Aria uses her Tri-Baton staff to smash a few robots. Casey skated around and bashed the security guards with his hockey stick, with Keno backing him up as Karai used her snake form to bite and knock out a few guards, with Shinigami knocking out a few guards too, while April uses her psychic powers to knock many robots away whilst Octavia chose to stay by Vinyl's side. Sour Sweet jumped up in the air and used her Surujin Chains to wrap up the security guards and threw them away, with Sugarcoat using her Chigiriki Mace to trip up the guard, ensnaring his feet and tossed him away, Indigo Zap uses her Guandao Spear to slice the robots in half, with Sunny Flare slicing and piercing some robots with her Katar Daggers, as well as Lemon Zest bashing the robots with her Kanabo Clubs. Bunk Bed Junction watched in surprise when they saw them fight.
"Whoa, those guys are good." Zuke noted.
"Yeah, no kidding." Yolo agreed until he and Zuke saw Mayday with a determined look.
"I don't know about you, but I'm going to join the fight too!!" Mayday smirked before she jumped up and attacked while smashing a few robots with her guitar. The two brothers were surprised and looked at one another before they shrugged and joined the fight, with Zuke using his drumsticks, whilst Yolo turned his bass guitar into an axe and sliced the robots too. At the same time, Vinyl launched another wave at DJ Subatomic Supernova, causing his DJ table to be ripped in half, making him land on his one knee and his right arm on his leg.
"Give it up, Supernova!!" Yolo growled.
"He's right!! NSR's dominance over Vinyl City ends today!!" Vinyl agreed, surprising those from her world, except Octavia.
"That's right!! These people have suffered long enough!!" Sour Sweet added after shaking off her surprise.
"NSR?" Supernova asked after he stood up and dusted himself. "Maybe. My music, highly unlikely." DJ Subatomic scoffed as he suddenly signaled the planetarium dome to open, surprising everyone as the group looked around before they saw him growing bigger, and the floors also changed, as if it had just turned into a massive DJ board. "For my music, will ripple to the rims of the universe and back!!"
"Holy Chalupa! He's gone bigger!" Mikey gasped before he and everyone else began to cheer for Vinyl.
"Come on Vinyl!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Kick his butt!" Raph added.
"Show him what you can do!!" Adagio agreed as Vinyl smirked and nodded before turning back to him when her shadow vanished before a black/blue/purple doppelgänger of Vinyl appeared besides her as the DJ smirked, knowing it was her own shadow. DJ Subatomic Supernova continued to rap as more planets appeared, along with some rocks that would make them look like Asteroids while at the same time, more robots and security arrived.
"We've got to keep them at bay while Vinyl keeps him busy!" Leo ordered before he and the others charged towards them. They continued to fight and fend off the attackers at the same time while during that time, DJ Subatomic Supernova sent in more planets, but as usual, Vinyl merely knocked them away.
"So you posses a skill unlike any other, do you? Well, see if you can dodge this!" DJ Supernova said as he raised his hands in the air and smashed the ground, causing tons of rocks to fly in the air. He then signaled them to fly towards her, until Vinyl's shadow doppelgänger flew straight towards the rocks and smash them to pieces, with Vinyl shaking her finger as if she was saying "Uh-uh-uh" before continuing to use her moves and sent her doppelgänger straight towards the DJ, causing him to be knocked back a bit, making the DJ growl a bit as he sent a massive yellow circle to deal with her, until Rarity stepped in and used her shields to block it, while at the same time, Twilight decided to use her power to move the rocks towards him, damaging the DJ further.
"Keep going Vinyl! We're almost through this!" Sunset urged as Vinyl nodded and continued to keep her focus on Subatomic Supernova. Vinyl then thought of an idea and smirked as she sent more of the shadows and shadow bats to her shadow Doppelgänger, and within an instant, they combined with it before charging towards DJ Subatomic Supernova with great speed and delivered a hard punch, making him grunt as he stood on all fours. Everyone cheered when they saw how Vinyl dominated the DJ arts against Supernova, even Mayday, Zuke and Yolo were impressed.
"Wow, she's so awesome!" Mayday smiled in excitement.
"I'll say!" Yolo added in agreement.
"I gotta admit, she really has talent." Zuke smirked, crossing his arms and nodded in agreement as well as everyon saw the DJ's face had cracked.
"Impossible... Impossible! Impossible! Impossible!" DJ Subatomic Supernova muttered in fury.
"Give it up, DJ Broken Record!" Mayday declared with a smirk.
"Yeah! You're no match for the DJ Queen of Canterlot City!" Pinkie agreed.
"Silence!" The battered DJ ordered, not liking where this was going. "You have barely, barely scratched the surface of my brilliance! I am done, stooping to your level of idiocy!"
"Oh, quit whining you big baby!!" Yolo taunted.
"Yeah, come on man. I understand perfectly what you're trying to do." Zuke said.
"Yeah. So how about we calm down and have some marshmallows?" Pinkie asked before DJ Supernova suddenly pulled an Earth globe out and pressed the top of it, causing a larger hand to appear above him and pressed the top of his head, surprising everyone.
"Uh, what is that?" April said nervously.
"I have no idea." Karai responded before a blinding flash occurred. After it faded, the DJ's arms were suddenly longer and bigger, before he roared at them, shocking everyone.
"Or maybe not." Zuke corrected himself.
"He's terrifying!" Fluttershy yelped in fear.
"Dude, that is seriously messed up!!" Casey explained when he looked at the size of the monstrosity before the darkness suddenly went into Vinyl’s shadow doppelgänger, transforming her into a giant bat monster as Vinyl smirked at that. Everyone was surprised to see what had happened to Vinyl's shadow.
"Whoa!!" Donnie gasped.
"Since when could she do that?!" Raph asked.
"I don't know, but I kinda like that look, it really works for her." Mikey noted as Vinyl's shadow swooped in for the attack, until Supernova used his power to launch more rocks, which it dodged with ease, but before Supernova could react, Vinyl's shadow double kicked the DJ, making him stammer backwards as he then roared before summoning more rocks to throw at the real Vinyl, making her dodge.
"Come on! We gotta find a way to help her." Leo shouted before Donnie saw three of the devices similar he saw from the Lights Up Audition arena, and suddenly had an idea.
"I have an idea! Twilight, Sugarcoat, regroup!" Donnie said as the two of them immediately went over to him and the three of them began to work together on the devices, tampering as best as they could with it while the same time, Vinyl was having trouble trying to fight against the DJ.
"Hurry up, guys!" Mikey urged.
"I don't think Vinyl will last much longer!" A worried Octavia pointed out.
"Got it!" Donnie responded before he, Sugarcoat and Twilight were done. "Mayday, Yolo, Zuke, Get over here!"
"What is it Donnie?!" Mayday asked as she and the two brothers came over.
"Play your respected instruments close to these three devices separately!" Donnie ordered.
"What?! Why?!" Yolo gasped in confusion.
"Just do it!" Donnie urged as with no time to argue, Mayday, Yolo and Zuke each played solo on their own devices, causing them to react and be activated in different ways.
Mayday's device got turned into a rocket, causing it to launch towards DJ Supernova, making him stagger backwards. "Whoa! Awesome!"
Yolo's device got turned into a laser cannon, causing it to activate, aimed at Supernova and blasted it, damaging him even further. "Nice!"
Zuke's device turned into some treadmill, causing a nearby planet to get attached to it and launched itself towards the DJ master, wounding him even further. "Whoa, now that's amazing!"
Vinyl's giant bat monster shadow was able to swoop in and deliver a strong powerful kick, cracking DJ Subatomic Supernova's face even further.
"Aw yeah!" Rainbow Dash whooped.
"You got this, Vinyl!" Aria cheered.
"Almost there, dudette!" Lemon Zest added,
Supernova struggled for some reason, and merely looked at them. "Your endeavors mean nothing! When a billion stars!! And a thousand upon thousands of planets-GAH!!!" The DJ groaned as he suddenly struggled for some reason and held his face.
"Uh, what's going on?!" April asked in worry before within a split second, Supernova's face broke open, creating a... BLACK HOLE?!!
"What's happening?!" Pinkie exclaimed as she and everyone else held onto their dear lives.
"He's going full black hole!" Twilight shouted.
"We need to finish the fight once and for all!" Leo urged before planets were flying towards the group as they were being sucked in as the blue-masked turtle saw the planets flying towards them while they dodged it, but when he looked at the planets, and notice it did some partial damage to Supernova. And that's when it hit him. "I have an idea! Everyone, smash the planets and redirect them to Supernova!! The more damage we cause, the more he'll weaken!!"
"Right!" Everyone shouted as one by one, each group member held position towards the planets. When one was flying towards them, one of them smashed it, causing it to split while being empowered at the same time, launching them straight towards the DJ, damaging him in the process. Seeing this, everyone did what they could; sometimes dodging, sometimes shattering it, and when most of the planets weren't close enough, Twilight used her magic to pull them, allowing Vinyl to swoop in and smash them to pieces. From afar, they felt his black hole power was weakening, causing them to stand up and being prepared.
"Come on, we gotta finish him off!" Leo ordered.
"But how?! If we get close enough we might get sucked in!" Sunset pointed out before that's when Bunk Bed Junction had determined looks on their faces and began to act. and performed... the ultimate showstopper.
"There's only one way to end this!" Zuke declared.
"Right you are, Zuke!" Mayday agreed.
"Let's do this!" Yolo added as everyone looked at Bunk Bed Junction before they stood in position.
"What are you...?" Casey tried to ask as they don't know what they were doing as the three of them then began to present their fists together.
"Red Light!" Mayday shouted, presenting her left fist.
"Yellow Light!" Yolo added, presenting both fists while his right one connected with Mayday's left fist.
"Green Light!" Zuke finished as he presenting his right fist, connecting with Yolo's left fist.
Mayday suddenly grabbed an smiley-face sharp-toothed object and disconnected it from her guitar and threw it away before brought out another one and connected it to her guitar, energizing it as the object flipped, showing a growling moth with sharp teeth as the guitar growled, as Yolo took out what appeared to be a tube and connected it to the top of his guitar, almost turning it into a cannon, while taking out his lucky pic at the same time, with Zuke holding his drumsticks ready, all three of them energized, before the three of them stood side by side. Zuke then tapped his Drumsticks as the three began to be synced with one another. "BUNKA!! JUNKA!! SHAKALAKA!!! BAM!!!" The three of them shouted as they released a ball of energy that flew straight towards DJ Supernova, and with great impact, everything went bright, while he literally flew right out of the roof of his own building.
At the same time, DJ Supernova flew straight towards space. "But millions and billions and trillions...!" The DJ cried out before disappearing into the sky.
"And Pluto is still relevant! Ya hear me?!" Mayday shouted while everyone else was shocked and amazed by what they saw at the same time.
"That... was... AWESOME!!" Rainbow Dash shouted, as everyone cheered for Bunk Bed Junction.
"Thanks. What’s a Pluto anyway?" Mayday asked, making everyone else groan at that as they couldn't believe she was somewhat dense before all of a sudden, Tatiana showed up on the large screen.
"DJ Subatomic Supernova, come in! What is going on down there?!" Tatiana asked as everyone regrouped and turned towards Tatiana with Mayday chuckling.
"Sorry." Indigo Zap taunted.
"But the DJ is currently out of commission." Rainbow Dash added.
"Would you like to leave a message after the beep? BEEP!!" Pinkie Pie said with a squee.
"What?! Who do you think you're...?!" Tatiana growled before she stopped herself when she recognized the trio. "Hold on. I remember you. You're those troublemakers from the Lights Up Audition."
"That's right, you old windbag!!" Raph shouted, gaining her attention.
"Huh? I don't recognize all of you, though." Tatiana noticed
"We are the Ninja Turtles." Leo said.
"We are the Rainbooms." Sunset Shimmer added.
"We are the Dazzlings." Adagio introduced herself and her sisters.
"We are the Shadowbolts. Er, name's a work in progress." Sour Sweet noted.
"And we're their friends form New York." Keno finished.
"Why are you lot siding with them, after the trouble they caused?" Tatiana asked, appalled.
"While I agree about one of the band member's, ahem, temper." Leo started, making Mayday look at him with a flexed eyebrow, "You shouldn't have denied them."
"Yeah, dude!! They delivered a wicked audition!" Casey agreed.
"And they were able to fill up the Qwasa energy!!" Keno added.
"And you unfairly banned rock to everyone else who could've been given a chance to help!!" Coloratura growled.
"Yeah, and seeing that y'all left us no choice, we're gonna bring it back with full force!!" Applejack declared.
"You can't be serious." Tatiana said in disbelief.
"Note. Serious. Face." Mikey responded when he pointed at his face.
"And you'd better believe it!" Yolo agreed.
"We're not stopping till we claim our fame!" Mayday declared
"And bring change to the system." Zuke added.
"Yeah, that too." Mayday agreed, trying her best not to look stupid.
"Oh, please." Tatiana scoffed while rolling her eyes.
"This city has had enough of your tyrannical control!" Mayday growled.
"Yeah, it's time we give the people what they want! Just like the founders of this city, stood for!" Yolo confirmed.
"Stop with the theatrics! You're think, you're better than me?! I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The age of rock, is over." Tatiana shouted.
"Uh, give it a rest already, you old hag!!" Raph roared, which caused Tatiana to look at him surprised.
"Do you always act angry that way?" Tatiana asked.
"Trust me dudette, we could tell you stories." Mikey answered while standing next to Raph before the red-masked turtle shoved his little brother away out of annoyance.
"And that's where you're wrong! Today's win is proof that the power of rock, is stronger than ever!" Mayday pointed out.
"And you robbed people of one of the things that brought them joy!!" Fluttershy added.
"And if you're going to stand in our way, we're going to show you that we're not to be trifled with!!" Karai hissed.
"What do you say to that?!" Shinigami taunted.
"Persistent piece of... Well, fine! You wanna take this road? I say, bring it on. We have the force to deal with the likes of you. We fight with..." Tatiana was about to say before Raph cut her off.
"We fight with Order. Blah, blah, blah, learn a new tune already!!" Raph groaned as Tatiana's eye twitched at his insult.
"How can you even stand him?" Tatiana growled.
"You get used to it." Everybody responded, much to Raph's surprise.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Raph shouted in annoyance.
"As I was saying, you have no place in our system." Tatiana said.
"If that's what you stand for, then we want no part of your stupid regiment!!" Mayday responded with a determined look.
"It's time we fight for fairness!! For the people of Vinyl City!!" Yolo added.
"We fight for, the little guys!!" Mayday declared.
Suddenly, Mayday noticed they botched something, causing her, Zuke and Yolo to babble. Soon enough, the three of them were able to make a proper signal with their hands.
"For the little guys!!" Everyone in the room shouted before Mikey noticed something on the ground, and saw what appeared to be a platinum disc as he picked it up and wondered what it was, but he shrugged his shoulders and put it away in his shell.
Soon enough, everyone exited from the club and were ecstatic.
"Aw, yeah! Now that's awesome!" Rainbow Dash cheered.
"Now that's the best fight I've ever been in!!" Casey agreed.
"Nevertheless, now that we've sort of declared war, we need to lay low, set up our next step of action." Leo advised.
"Oh, we know just the place. You wanna crash at our pad?" Mayday offered.
"That would be great. Uh, but where is it?" Sunset asked
"It's in the sewers." Zuke answered.
"Really? Awesome." Indigo smiled, surprising Bunk Bed Junction.
"Wait, you don't have a problem with that?" Yolo asked in confusion.
"Our home's at the sewers, too." Donnie informed.
"Wow, we have so much in common!" Mayday whooped.
"Got that right, now let's get going." Zuke said before everyone walked off as Mikey was secretly typing on his phone, as if he had recorded a few things and placed them together.
"Perfect." Mikey smiled as he placed his phone away, until he looked around and noticed someone wasn't here. "Hey, anyone seen Vinyl?" Mikey asked as everyone were surprised by this, with them wondering the same thing.
Meanwhile, from outside of Vinyl City, Supernova climbed out of the waters and was dizzy and held onto his head. He then saw someone standing in front of him, and looked up. To his surprise, he saw Vinyl standing before him. "Oh, it's you. What do you want?" DJ Supernova scoffed before Vinyl did the unexpected, to which Supernova didn't see coming; Vinyl helped him stand up and brought him over to a tree stump. She helped him sit back down, allowing the two of them to look at one another. Vinyl stood in front of him and motioned her hand. The DJ was confused, until he did what any DJ knows, the special DJ handshake, the true mark of respect. After he was done, Supernova was surprised by the amount of respect Vinyl showed, despite what happened today. Vinyl then took out two root beers and presented one to him. "Oh... Thank you." Supernova said as he accepted it. The two of them sat next to one another and drank their root beers whilst they were slowly bonding. The two of them toasted on their performance before drinking them. For not only did they win one battle, but Vinyl and DJ Supernova became worthy rivals... and worthy friends.
Shortly after they left DJ Subatomic's place, and after Vinyl got back, to say that Bunk Bed Junction's being impressive was an understatement. All of them have tons of rooms, places to put, as well as a few places where they could work on a few things. However, a few hours later, Mikey got bored and watched TV to see if there was anything interesting on. That was...until he stumbled upon the news.
"We interrupt this program for an important news report." The news anchorwoman said, gaining everyone's attention. "Last Night, a sabotage at Club Planetarium, has resulted in an unexpected change of leadership. The authorities have identified the group behind the interference, as Bunk Bed Junction, an Indie Rock Trio. The Band was led by a guitarist who goes by the name of Mayday, followed by her drummer and bass guitarist, Zuke and Yolo." The anchorwoman said as the news showed a picture of Mayday with her face near the camera, with only the tops of Zuke and Yolo's head being seen.
"Oh, come on! How come is it every time whenever I'm on a picture, I always get cut off!" Yolo complained as the others couldn't help but snicker at this.
"But it appeared as they are not alone." The news anchorwoman continued while showing their group picture. "For among them were a large group of teenagers, visitors from outside of Vinyl City, according to witnesses."
"Well, you have to admit, and I know it's bad for us, the group shot looks good. Even Shini looks good from that angle." Mikey smiled.
"Oh, stop." Shinigami said as she blushed and giggled while the News anchorwoman kept going.
"Sources say they hijacked DJ Subatomic Supernova's concert close to midnight, which subsequently led to NSR's first district loss in years." The News anchorwoman said, who then had the picture of a satellite next to her. "However, Tatiana reassures everyone that the launch of the New NSR Satellite, supervised by DJ Subatomic Supernova, went smoothly despite the takeover."
The TV then showed another footage of Tatiana talking to the audience and the ones watching live. "The loss of the Cast Tech District is but a minor setback for NSR. Our launch was deemed a success. The NSR satellite, is set to reach its course in orbit soon, which will mark a major for us in-"
Suddenly, Mayday punched the TV, causing it to be shut down.
"Not the TV!!" Mikey, Pinkie and Sonata exclaimed.
"Not again! Mayday!!!" Yolo growled
"And I thought Raph had issues." Spike noted, which caused the hotheaded turtle to growl and look at Spike. "Well don't give me that look, you know it's true."
"Great, you owe me a TV, May." Zuke groaned while rolling his eyes.
"Does she always punch a solid object?" Applejack asked.
"That's right. She even punched me in the face, and I didn't even say anything!" Yolo answered.
"Those NSR buffoons! We managed to defeat an artist of theirs, but somehow, they still win." Mayday growled.
"What, you actually thought it was going to be that easy?" Karai asked in disbelief.
"That's right, just because you had one victory, doesn't mean the fight's really over." Leo agreed.
"He does have a point. My friends and I learned that the hard way every time whenever we face a ninja threat, a magic threat or a worldwide threat." Sunset nodded.
"They're right May, and besides, did you have to punch the TV though? We ain't got money to spend on another one." Zuke pointed out.
"Wait, you guys are having financial troubles?" Twilight asked in surprise.
"Not exactly. Zuke and I work part-time at a mechanic's place, even specialize in fixing Qwasa devices to help power the systems. Though uh... let's just say our budget's been a bit tight lately. Ever since a certain guitarist spent most of it on a helicopter." Yolo explained as the others were surprised by what he had said, and slowly looked at Mayday.
"Listen to me guys. Our revolution is set on a long and difficult path, so sacrifices must be made for the greater good." Mayday said when suddenly, Raph slapped her behind the head, making her yelp before rubbing the back of it. "Ow!"
"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" Raph shouted.
"Raph!" The Rainbooms exclaimed before they heard Mikey chuckle, making them glare at him.
"Sorry, I'm just glad it's not me being slapped for once." Mikey apologized with a smile.
"Although, Leonardo and Karai do have a point. We were able to defeat one of the Artist, but where do we go from here?" Rara asked while crossing her arms.
"That's a really good question." April admitted..
"Yeah, like where do we...?" Casey tried to wonder before he and the others heard a ringtone going off.
"Uh, did someone get a message?" asked Keno.
Suddenly, Mayday took out her phone and looked at the screen. "Oh hey, I got a text message."
Zuke sighed and Yolo slapped his forehead, for he couldn't believe that she was this dense again. However, Mayday looked at the message and was surprised by what it said.
"Guys, guys!!" shouted Mayday as she got excited, "I think we got our first fan!"
"Say what now?" said Zuke surprised.
"But how's that possible? We've only performed and battled once at the club." said Yolo.
Pinkie grabbed Mayday's phone, which surprised them as she read it. "Ooooh. The fan's name is Kliff. And he has a bunch of nice things to say about you guys."
Suddenly Pinkie did something very unexpected and made Fluttershy read it, whilst holding what appeared to be a plant near her. Fluttershy read it... as Flutterguy. "Your exceptional skills at playing your instruments while simultaneously entertaining the crowd is absolutely astounding." Fluttershy read before she gasped and closed her mouth in shock, while Pinkie moved the plant away from her, allowing Fluttershy to speak normally, "Um, what was that?"
"What the...how did you...?!!" Sunset tried to ask before she suddenly saw the plant and gasped, "Pinkie? Where did you get that?"
"Oh, this? I saw some Equestrian Magic go into a plant and when I touched it, my tongue was all swollen. Naturally I panicked, but when I wasn't touching it and stood a little further, it went back to normal. So I thought I'd use it for pranking situations." Pinkie explained, giggling.
"Pinkie, that's Poison Joke!" Sunset pointed out.
"Wait, Poison Joke?" Zuke asked in surprise and walked over to it. "I've heard about the plant, but never thought it existed."
"Wait, they have some here too?!" Sunset gasped.
"That's right. The plant tends to play jokes on you when you come into contact with it." Zuke said.
As everyone understood that, Indigo Zap took the phone and looked at the message. "It says here he wants to arrange a meeting tonight."
"Wow, isn't that exciting, Zuke?! Our first fan meetup!" Mayday cheered in excitement.
"Yeah, that's nice." Zuke smiled.
"We don't have time for that! We need a plan of action!" Raph pointed out.
"That's right, like trying to figure out how to defeat NSR-" Sour Sweet agreed
"He says he knows how to defeat NSR." Mayday informed as everyone blinked at that.
"Wow, that's convenient." Donnie noted.
"Guys, this guy, is our biggest fan, A-T-M. I propose we see what he has to say. We have nothing to lose, right?" Mayday smiled.
"Well, um... yeah sure, why not." Zuke agreed.
"But we should be careful just in case." Yolo pointed out.
"He's right, for all we know, this could be a trap." Leo nodded.
"Don't worry, if it is, we'll be ready." Rainbow smirked in determination.
"Plus, we could always explore the city more, see what they have to offer." Rarity added.
"Awesome! Let me just reply. Aaaaaaand, sent." Mayday smiled as everyone then began to wait around until the person responded.
"So... how did he get your number?" Zuke asked..
"Yeah, how did he get your number?" Yolo agreed.
"I dunno." Mayday shrugged as everyone else felt a bit suspicious at that, for a random person calls, knows Mayday's number, and claims he knows how to beat NSR. Something didn't feel right about this. However, before they could say anything, Mayday's received a new message. "Okay, Kliff says to find him at the Festival Plaza."
"Alright, let's go see what this guy is about." Zuke said.
"Still, we should be prepared for just in case." Yolo pointed out.
"We'll stick to the shadows and keep an eye on things from there." Leo added.
"Alright everyone, let's get going." Adagio declared as everyone exited the lair.
The group got onto the surface as a lot was going on.
"Yup, no matter where we go, we'll always love this neighborhood." Mayday smiled.
"That and the food diner near here." Yolo added as he pointed at the place.
"Nice place. So who owns it?" Adagio asked.
"Oh, that would be Aunty. She owns the Roadside food stall. She sells some of the best food in the neighborhood. Not to mention she's a friend." Zuke answered.
"Um, maybe we should pick something up before we go anywhere." Fluttershy noted in a meek tone.
"You know, Flutters does have a point. We could always get something to eat and drink while we're on the road." Rainbow Dash admitted.
"Eh, I'm down with it." Mayday said as everyone went over.
The said lady named Aunty saw them coming and became excited. "Oh, you three! It's so good to see you again!"
"Good to see you too, Aunty." Yolo replied as he and the rest of Bunkbed Junction hugged her.
"Your usual to go?" Aunty presumed.
"Yes, and more sugar for me." Mayday answered.
"One sugar for me." Yolo added.
"No sugar for mine, please." Zuke requested.
"And some for your friends?" Aunty noticed.
"Oh, why of course, if you do not mind, please." Zuke responded.
"You know, for a diner that sits in the wrong neighborhood, the place really does make amazing food and drinks." Sugarcoat noted as everyone got what they want.
"No kidding. So how come she doesn't work at a restaurant?" Sour Sweet asked.
"Oh, she did once. But once she saved enough, she bought her own place." Zuke informed.
"But couldn't have been somewhere in the city?" Rarity added with another question.
"She did once, but uh, things didn't work out so well." Mayday nervously explained.
"So, now that we got what we came for, let's get going." Casey said.
"Come on, guys!" Leo urged as he and the others jumped onto the rooftops, while Bunkbed Junction and Rara watched in awe.
"Okay, those guys are my new favorites." Mayday awed in excitement.
"Applejack definitely changed a whole lot since summer camp." Rara said in amazement.
"You know, maybe we can have lessons with them sometime." Yolo noted.
"Meh, I'm fine with whatever." Zuke agreed as the four soon ran down the street to try to find their way to the Festival Plaza.
"Wowee! This place is crowded!" Pinkie said.
"We're definitely not in New York or Canterlot City anymore." Mikey agreed.
"I know, right? Then again, it is kinda weird that some names like the Italian painters existed in this world." Sonata noted.
"At least it's something that we're familiar with." Donnie added when Mikey suddenly had some sort of an idea, gaining a smirk, not knowing if it'll work, but decided it was worth a shot.
"You D? You remember that time we were stuck in Batman's world and we had a temporary HQ to go by? Same with the farm back home?" Mikey asked, gaining Donnie's attention.
"Uh, yeah, I do. Why do you ask?" Donnie responded.
"Well, I figured since we're here, we might as well stock up on resources. You know, like new computers and all that junk, maybe even a new TV for Bunkbed Junction while we're at it." Mikey listed
"Mikey's right." Leo admitted, causing himself and everyone else to blink in surprise at that. "Whoa, there's something I never thought I'd say. We'll need to find a way to get what we need whilst we're here in this world. We'll need to be prepared for anything just in case." Leo said as Mikey smiled in pride.
"Hmm... If we do, we're gonna have to find an electronic store that doesn't use anything, as well as some parts form the junkyard. That could be a good start." Donnie pondered.
"First, we'll need a map." Leo started.
"Got it!" Pinkie smiled as she pulled out a map.
Pinkie was looking around as everyone was exploring the city, until she found a stall that had not just guide books, but also a map of the city as well.
"While we were busy exploring, I saw a stall that gives out free maps and tour guide books." Pinkie explained
"So I figured, if we're to know this city, we gotta start somewhere!" Pinkie finished with a smile and a squee.
"Huh nice work Pinkie." Leo noted as Donnie took the map and looked through it.
"Okay, there's an electronic store and a junkyard over here. And thankfully they're close to one another." Donnie noticed.
"Alright, we'll have to split up from here. Donnie, Sugarcoat, Twilight, Spike, Casey, April, Sunny Flare and Pinkie Pie, you guys go to the electronics to get what you need. Applejack, Fluttershy, Lemon Zest, Indigo Zap, Keno, Mikey and Sonata, you guys go to the junkyard and see what you can find." Leo ordered.
"Um, why am I also going to the junkyard?" asked Fluttershy.
"Cuz girl, that place might be filled with guard dogs, and you're the only one among us who can talk and understand animals." Mikey explained.
"Well... seeing when you put it like that." Fluttershy admitted.
"We'll meet back at Bunkbed Junction's place in an hour." Leo said before everyone split up and went to different directions.
Leo and the others continued to follow the path until they had reached the end of the rooftop run and spotted the location where they needed to be.
"So, where is exactly is he? I mean, we saw his picture, but we don't know what he really looks like." Rainbow Dash asked.
"Keep an eye out for him. If Mayday and the others talk to him, then I'm sure that's Kliff." Leo assured.
"So all we gotta do is to wait until they get here." Karai noted.
"Look, here they come now." Adagio pointed out as
They saw Bunkbed Junction approaching the district, whilst also looking around for Kliff at the same time.
"We gotta be gettin’ close." Raph said.
At the same time, everyone else in their groups were able to find what they were looking for. Thanks to Twilight and Sugarcoat, even Donnie, they were able to find what they were looking for and used their own backpacks to pack what they needed.
"Alright, that should about do it." Twilight noted.
"Not to mention what we'll need to make a new TV." Sugarcoat added.
"Just make sure it's Mayday-and-Raph-proof." Sunny Flare pointed out.
At the same time, Applejack, Fluttershy, Lemon Zest, Indigo Zap, Keno, Mikey and Sonata were at the junkyard and were able to find the parts they needed, while Fluttershy was busy entertaining the guard dogs in order to keep them distracted.
"That should about do it." Applejack said.
"Let's just hope so, I'd hate the idea of being unprepared." Keno noted.
"Not with these we won't." Mikey smirked as he popped up with a handful of stuff in his bag.
"We'd better head back. Hopefully Leo and the others have better luck." Indigo responded.
Meanwhile, with Leo and the others, all of them watched and kept an eye on Mayday and the others. Soon enough, all of them arrived at the spot, and within mere moments, a stranger arrived. Bunkbed Junction was approached by a man with red hair and a green headband and has a beard while wearing glasses, a purple scarf with pink stripes, a yellow jacket, black shirt underneath, brown pants and black shoes while holding a tablet. At the same time, the others came back.
"We're here." Donnie whispered.
"We put the stuff back at the lair and came here." Keno said.
"Perfect timing. We got incoming." Leo informed
"Greetings, Mayday, Yolo and Zuke." The man greeted as he approached Bunkbed Junction.
"You're Kliff?" Mayday asked in surprise, which surprised the others when they also overheard them.
"Indeed I am." Kliff confirmed.
"Oh, I almost didn't recognize you... Your photo, I mean." Mayday noted.
"This is why, people shouldn't fall for false photos, just because of some website." Yolo muttered.
"Anyway, hello." Mayday greeted.
"Glad to finally meet you three, a real pleasure." Kliff said.
"Pleasure's ours, Kliff." Zuke replied.
"Yeah, nice to meet you." Yolo agreed.
"And where are the kids that fought with you?" Kliff asked.
"Oh, they're around." Zuke said before whistling, which was the signal as everyone else soon came down and landed near them, which surprised Kliff.
"Whoa, trained ninjas, this is awesome." Kliff smiled.
"Nice to meet you sir. My name is Leonardo. And these are my brothers, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo." Leo introduced.
"Ah, named after the famous Renaissance painters, good choice. Very good choice." Kliff noted.
"My name is Sunset Shimmer. These are my friends, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, and her pet dog Spike." Sunset greeted.
"My name's Adagio Dazzle, and these are my sisters, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk." Adagio's added.
"My name is April O'Neil, and these are Casey Jones, Keno, Karai Hamato and her friend Shinigami." April introduced herself and the others.
"I'm Sour Sweet, these are my friends, Lemon Zest, Indigo Zap, Sunny Flare and Sugarcoat." Sour Sweet continued.
"These three are also our friends, Vinyl Scratch, Octavia and Coloratura." Sunset finished.
"Oh, so you're Vinyl Scratch. I have to say, your performance with Bunkbed Junction is amazing, I've never seen anything like it." Kliff commented as Vinyl replied with a thumbs up and a smile.
"I'm a huge fan of Bunkbed Junction. You could say I'm your biggest number one fan." Kliff said as that set Leo off in a wrong way and couldn't help but feel something off about him. Mikey noticed it, but decided to keep quiet for now. "Just wanted to let you know, your gig with the DJ was beyond cool. I'm all for what you're doing. NSR's wakeup call is long overdue."
"Right. I knew we weren't the only ones who felt this way." Mayday smiled in agreement.
"Definitely not, I mean you were even able to gather these group of kids with you." Kliff added.
"We uh, just happened to stumble upon them by chance." Coloratura responded sheepishly.
"And we wanted to help out in anyway we can, yo." Casey Jones explained.
"That's great to know. In fact, there's much I'd like to offer in support of your efforts." Kliff offered.
"You can? How?" Aria asked in confusion.
"Did any of you happen to pick something up after defeating DJ Subatomic Supernova?" Kliff requested as Mikey blinked and remembered he picked something up like that and pulled it out while showing it.
"You mean this?" Mikey asked
"Yes, yes. The Platinum Disc. Every NSR Artist has one." Kliff confirmed eagerly
"What's so important about it?" Applejack asked.
"The importance is by having it, you are the new charter for this district, and you have complete control over it now." Kliff informed.
"Wait, we do?" Donnie checked in confusion.
"That's right. Go ahead, place the Platinum Disc over there, by the dock. Then, play your music." Kliff instructed.
Mikey went over and placed the disc onto where he needed, causing it to play. However, before Mayday could play it, Rainbow eagerly came along. "Can I do it, please?!" Rainbow Dash eagerly asked in excitement.
Seeing that look, Mayday suddenly saw a bit of herself, causing her to giggle. "Go ahead." Mayday confirmed as Rainbow held the guitar with a gleeful smile and went over next to the item. The moment she did a solo, something amazing happened. The entire District's landscape began to shake and move as if it were a puzzle piece, with everyone else watching in amazement. The moment it stopped shifting, their entrance to the Cast Tech District have been made available. Everyone was in awe of what just happened.
"Whoa." Everyone except Kliff uttered in awe.
"But that's highly illogically impossible!!" Twilight gasped as she was just as baffled.
"We can do this?!" Mayday asked in excitement.
"Cool stuff." Zuke simply said, with Yolo nodding in agreement.
"Congratulations. You now own this district." Kliff smiled.
"This is amazing! Now we don't have to worry about getting supplies in the future!" Indigo Zap smiled
"Now then, all you have to do, is hijack the other concerts." Kliff listed
"Other concerts?" The others asked in confusion.
"The other districts. By doing so, you can gain the power to control them as well. You want to free Vinyl City from NSR, right?" Kliff asked
"Of course." Mayday nodded.
"We'd do anything to restore the rights of music." Karai agreed.
"Then you need to beat the remaining NSR artists and take over their districts. Doing so, will significantly weaken NSR's control over Vinyl City. Remember, once you've obtained a Platinum Disc, just head towards the next dock." Kliff said.
"You got yourself a deal, Kliff." Yolo confirmed.
"Now then, that's all I have for now. Meet me here again if you require my future assistance." Kliff responded before Mayday had a crazy idea.
"Here? You've done so much for us Kliff. Come to our secret underground pad." Mayday offered.
"Yeah, you're always welcome to hang with us there." Zuke agreed.
"Really now, heh, don't mind if I do." Kliff accepted.
"It's over at the..." Yolo tried to inform before he was cut off.
"Don't worry, I know where it is." Kliff reassured.
"And while we're at it, we can help you identify more of Vinyl City's artists in order to get to know them better and take them down." Twilight added.
"I can work with that. I could always use the extra help." Kliff said.
"Uh, okay." Zuke responded before Kliff left.
"Isn't this a great start, Zuke! We're not alone in this!! We have more allies now!" Mayday whooped in excitement.
"Come on, let's head back to the lair and plan our next move. And while we're at it, we can give your instruments some upgrades." Yolo said
"Upgrades?" The girls responded in confusion.
"Seeing that our instruments can produce power and do stuff, we figured, why not let us do the same with yours." Mayday smiled.
"That would be awesome! Let's do it!" Rainbow cheered as all of them left.
"Something up?" Mikey asked quietly.
"Something's off about Kliff. He somehow knows Mayday's number, and he claims to be a fan despite them not being out in the open that long." Leo said, making Mikey gasp.
"You too?! I thought I was the only one!" Mikey whispered.
"Glad you caught on." said Leo.
"So what do we do?" asked Mikey.
"We'll have to keep an eye on him while we're here. We can't take any chances." Leo said as the others soon left, hoping to plan their next move.
The group were in Bunkbed Junction’s hideout, in the strategy room, with the Rainboom’s instruments upgraded and everyone ready to go. The Rainbooms and Turtles, along with thier guests watched as Bunk Bed Junction was toiling away with their instruments. Mayday with her hammer, Zuke with his blowtorch and Yolo measuring the power output and energy ratio.
"You gotta hand it to them, they really know their stuff." Casey admitted.
"If their weapons weren't instrument based, they'd make good blacksmiths." Karai added.
"No kidding, you could see just how focused they are." Shinigami agreed.
"Aaaaaand done! Alright now, your intruments are good to go. It can make twice the sweetest tunes..." Mayday started off.
"And also twice the offense and defense attacks." Yolo finished as Mayday held onto both Rainbow and Sunset's guitars before walking over to them.
"These two guitars have been modified for distance." Mayday said before she handed them over. "They can shoot laser cannons the moment it's turned on."
"Oh, sweet!" Rainbow cheered as she accepted it.
"This feels strangely familiar." Sunset noticed as she felt like she's seen it before before Yolo walked over to Rarity and Applejack while holding their instruments.
"These babies have been tuned up to the next level." Yolo started while handing them over. "The Bass guitar has the ability to turn into an axe that can cut through almost everything, while the Keytar unleashes musical notes to act as both offense and defense."
"Wow, now that's handy." Applejack noted as she accepted her bass.
"Indeed, quite creative." Rarity agreed as she held onto her instrument before Zuke then walked over to Pinkie and Fluttershy with their instruments.
"Seeing that you also play the drums, I made them the same way I made my own sticks. You can use them to fight in combat." Zuke said as Pinkie Pie squeed while smiling before accepted them, as Fluttershy looked a little uncomfortable as she's not a fan of violence. Zuke noticed, smiled and walked over to her while placing his hand on her shoulder, gaining her attention. "Hey, no worries. You're not actually going to fight, which is why I made this for you." Zuke noted as he handed Flutterhy's tambourine and asked her "You like to dance, don't you?"
"Er, sometimes." Fluttershy answered bashfully.
"Well, I made this that whilst you play and dance at the same time, that allows you to deploy any protective shield around you. You see, instead of being on offense, you'll be on defense." Zuke explained.
"And seeing that the Dazzlings used to sing, we were able to whip up this." Yolo added before handing them new necklaces, which surprised them when they saw that they nearly look like the Dazzlings' old amulets.
"With these amulets, your voices can deliver twice the damage. You think it, it delivers." Zuke said.
"Wow, this is amazing!" Sonata smiled in excitement.
"I'll say, about time we got into some action." Aria agreed.
"Aw, I wish we had cool instruments like you guys." Lemon Zest said.
"Hey, don't worry. Once we find the right instruments for you guys, then you guys will be ready." Mayday assured.
"Hey guys." Spike called out as he walked in, gaining their attention. "That Kliff guy wants to see you. He says he's got our next target."
"Let's go, guys." Leo said as everyone left the room.
Everyone was soon in the debriefing room, where Kliff was standing right next to a large screen.
"So what do you have for us, Kliff?" Raph asked.
"Before you head out, it would be an honor to brief you on your next fight. May I?" Kliff asked.
"I'd love to hear your Intel Kliff." Mayday confirmed.
"What do you have for us?" Zuke requested.
"Yeah, if it's an artist, which one are we aiming at?" Yolo agreed.
"Right, Akusuka will be your next stop." Kliff answered as he showed the team the picture of their target.
"Aww, how cute." Mikey gushed when he saw how adorable she looked.
"I hope you're up to date with the digital space. Because Sayu has been making waves there as an idol." Kliff informed.
"Wait, that photo. I've seen her on the billboards! With her squeaky voice and music." Mayday noticed.
"Ah, the digital pop idol. She's really popular with the younger kids." Zuke said.
"Among other things." Yolo added.
"Wait, did you say, digital? So she's not even real? And she's topping charts?!" Mayday asked in surprise.
"NSR signs on anyone who has the fame to benefit them. But, you two can make a difference." Kliff responded.
"So just to be clear, we're fighting a fictional character, right?" Indigo Zap asked.
"Yes." Kliff answered.
"So what can you tell us about her?" Sour Sweet requested.
"Sayu was created long ago by a handful of programmers. Some time ago, the programmers created Sayu in order to make it big in the music business. They ended up using a genre called the Cute core." Kliff explained.
"Oh yeah, I know that genre. They make a ton of cute and bubbly characters and have them designed to sing in a cute manner." Pinkie noticed.
"And as you can see from the charts, Sayu gained more popularity over the years because of the Programmers. Now she's one of the NSR enforcers. And she will be most tricky to get to considering her, ahem, form. But behind every creation, is a creator. And it applies to Sayu as well. And that's how we'll beat her." Kliff informed.
"So how will we get to her?" Donnie asked.
"Take these with you, and head to Asusuka when you're ready. They'll get you to where Sayu is." Kliff answered as he gave the group passes with the, accepting the passes before placing them away. "Now then, remember, she is not constrained by real world logic, so be prepared for anything."
"Alrighty." Mayday responded.
"Wait, I couldn't help but notice that you have that poster over there." Kliff said as everyone stopped and looked at to what Kliff was pointing at. It was a poster about the Goolings, one that some recognized, with Kul Fyra at the front.
"Yes! Kul Fyra! The legend! The one and only!" Mayday cheered,
"Ugh, here we go again." Yolo groaned.
"Ohhhh Kliff, you just opened a can of worms." Zuke warned.
"The band she started, the Goolings, was way ahead of its time. Nobody took rock seriously until they came along. They trailblazed to stardom and immediately took Vinyl City by storm." Mayday informed with a sigh of nostalgia. "Man, sometimes I wish I was born earlier." Mayday said before she gasped in realization and looked at Kliff. "Oh, oh, oh, hang on. You would have been old enough to see them during their prime. Were you in Vinyl City back then?"
"Yep." Kliff answered while smiling in pride, with Mayday giving a slight gasp.
"Pleeeease, tell me you went to their gigs." Mayday requested in excitement.
"I did." Kliff chuckled as Mayday squealed in excitement
"Major fangirl, huh?" Raph asked, whispering to Zuke and Yolo.
"You have no idea." Yolo answered through his teeth.
"You got to see the Goolings, live! I'm so jelly, so jelly. Tell me, what was Kul Fyra like?" Mayday asked.
"What was she like?" Kliff repeated with a slight chuckle. "She's got the jeans, she's got the sunglasses, she's got the flaming hair, she's got the looks, the spunk. She had 'em all. That girl was rockin' it I tell ya. Shook the stage like she absolutely owns it. She didn't need to change... she was flawless."
"Oh, Kliff. You're my new favorite guy." Mayday smiled.
"It's a shame that the Goolings got disbanded, and Kul Fyra faded into obscurity shortly after. She deserves better." Kliff said.
"She does, deserve better." Rainbow agreed.
"And that's where you come in! You supported the Goolings back then, now we need you to bring back the same energy to our fight." Mayday realized.
"Oh, that's the plan young lady. We're going to smack Tatiana to the side and reignite Kul Fyra's legacy once and for all." Kliff nodded with determination.
"Yes!" Mayday cheered.
"Can we get going to deal with our next target already, we don't want to fall asleep here." Sugarcoat bluntly pointed out.
"Agreed. Let's go, everyone!" Leo urged as the heroes headed to the exit.
"We'll see you later, Kliff!" Mikey bid farewell before the group heard Pinkie giggle as she was playing with a light-blue baby alligator with blue-purple spines and purple eyes.
"Look what I found!" Pinkie Pie called out.
"Oh my goodness!" Fluttershy gasped as she darted over to the little gator. "Who's this cute little guy?"
"I see you guys have met our pet alligator, Ellie." Zuke chuckled.
"We adopted him a while back shortly after we formed Bunk Bed Junction." Yolo explained.
"And the gator's really talented too. We saw him riding a helicopter one time." Mayday added, baffling everyone.
"Yeah right, there's no way he can unless..." Donnie tried to say
"He has a pilot's license?!" Twilight gasped when she and the others saw the gator showing his pilot license, surprising the group.
"Huh, I wonder if I could get a license." Spike said to himself.
"Don't even think about it Spike. Shining still hasn't forgiven me for letting you wait in the car and you ended up wrecking it." Twilight pointed out.
"How was i supposed to know, and it was just one accident!" Spike responded.
"Besides, I guess he is a bit hungry." Zuke said as he brought out a fish and tossed it to Ellie, who caught it with his mouth and ate it. Ellie made a happy squeak sound, which caused some of the girls to fawn over him, but none more than Fluttershy. "Wow, she really loves Animals."
"That she does. Just... don't get her mad, or she'll use the stare on you." Rainbow Dash warned.
"The stare?" Bunk Bed Junction asked in confusion.
"Don't ask." Half of the group responded.
"Alright, now that we're done fawning the gator, can we go now?!" Raph urged.
"Fine." Everyone else groaned as they left, with Fluttershy petting Ellie.
"I'll see you later, Ellie." Fluttershy said as everyone soon left, with Ellie wagging its tail, as he was looking forward to see Fluttershy again.
Everyone went to the surface before Kliff called on Mayday's phone. "Greetings! Kliff here. It would be my pleasure to assist you on your rocking journey to defeat NSR. I'll be giving some essential tips along the way, so keep your eyes peeled! Your next destination will be Sayu's Kura-Kura Stream Hub. Please head over to the Festival Bridge."
"Alright guys, we've got our heading. Let's go." Leo ordered.
"Yo BBJ, ever did a rooftop race before?" Mikey asked.
"Can't say that I have." Zuke answered.
"If it's a race, then I'll gladly beat the lot of ya!" Mayday declared.
"We'll see about that." Casey responded with a determined smirk as everyone jumped towards the rooftops and ran from different rooftop to rooftop.
As they ran, they passed the former stomping ground of DJ Supernova, and were surprised to see the layout of the place.
"You have to admit, the guy has some good tastes." Sunny Flare admitted.
"He does actually." Sour Sweet agreed.
As they explored, they got a call from Kliff. "Welcome to the Cast Tech District. Science and exploration are held at the highest degree here. At least it used to be anyway. These days, DJ Subatomic Supernova is more concerned about himself, so most of the energy is relegated to his Vanity projects instead."
"Oooh, now this, is, amazing!" Twilight awed.
"I feel like I died and gone to heaven." Donnie muttered.
"Nerd alert!" Half the group called out, causing the two geniuses to glare at the ones who called them that.
"Well onto business, you need to head to the edge of the district to get to Sayu's Kura-Kura Stream Hub." Kliff informed.
"Guys, up ahead, we're almost at the end." Sunset pointed out, allowing them to stop.
"So... what's the play once we get there?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Something tells me we need to see what we're up against first." Rarity pointed out.
"Ah'm with ya there, Rarity." Applejack agreed.
"Let's go guys." Mayday said as she and everyone jumped down.
They arrived at Akusuka's front entrance and were surprised to see what it looks like all around them.
"Oooh, fancy." Pinkie said.
"You know, this place kind of reminds me of Tokyo." Karai noticed.
"Agreed. We should visit there more often." Shinigami wondered.
"Hey, up ahead. That's gotta be the entrance." Keno pointed out.
"We'll need to be careful on how we get inside." Adagio added.
"Agreed, just because we were able to beat one artist, doesn't mean we can just lower our defenses." Yolo agreed.
"The guys and I will take lead." Leo said on behalf of him and the Turtles as they soon took the lead while going past the large crowd at the same time. Soon they arrived at the entrance as everyone stood at the edge, with Leo looking back. "Alright guys, be prepared for anything. We don't know what's going to wait for us on the other side, but we need to be prepared for what SAYU is planning to throw at us. So stay on guard and watch each other's backs."
"Right." Everyone else responded as they got ready.
"Let's go!" Leo said as he and his brothers jumped first, with the rest following suit.
The group soon landed from where they jumped and stood in position. However, all of them began to slowly look around and were amazed.
"Whoa, it's almost as if we've gone inside the internet." Lemon Zest awed in amazement.
"I know right, reminds me of what our counterparts told us a while back." Donnie noted before the group got a call from Kliff, causing them to listen to it.
"Just so you know, getting to an NSR artist will not be an easy task. They will be heavily guarded, so you'll need to break through their security first." Kliff informed.
"Security?" Mikey asked.
"What security?" Pinkie added.
Suddenly, up ahead, they saw many NSR robots, as well as a few security guards standing at the ready.
"You just had to say it!" Raph growled.
"Okay, but to be fair, we didn't know that they'd just conveniently pop up." Mikey pointed out.
"Doesn't matter." Leo responded as he and the others got ready. "Everyone, take them down!"
"Actually Leo, why not have the Rainbooms test out their instruments? I mean we gotta make sure that they work and all." Yolo said as he stopped everyone else.
"You know, he does have a point." Donnie admitted after having thought about it.
"Fine. You girls are up." Leo groaned with a roll of his eyes.
"Alright!" Rainbow Dash cheered as both she and Sunset stood side by side. "You ready for some target practice, Sunset?"
"The first to have ten points, wins?" Sunset challenged.
"You're on!" Rainbow accepted as the two of them held their guitars in position, causing small cylinders to appear. They then began to play their melodies on it, causing lasers to shoot out of it, taking down a few drones in the process. "Awesome!"
"This is so much fun!" Sunset whooped as they continued.
Applejack stood near a few NSR robots, then charged with her Bass. The moment she jumped up and raised it in the air, it instantly turned into an axe, allowing her to slice it in half. "Whoa, now that's what Ah'm talkin' about!"
Rarity then played her instrument while her eyes were closed, causing music notes to appear on her keytar, allowing her to fire said notes onto the security and robots, destroying the robots and knocking out the security. "Oh my, such elegance. Truly you are a miracle worker."
Fluttershy noticed that she was surrounded by the security forces as she then remembered what Zuke said. When security attacked, Fluttershy played her tambourine while she danced. The moment security came into close contact, she displayed shields in front of her, knocking them back in the process as she giggled and enjoyed the dancing while Pinkie Pie used her drum sticks to whack many of the robots and security away. "Now this is so much fun!" Pinkie cheered as everyone else was surprised by this.
"Okay, now that's seriously cool." Raph admitted.
"Come on guys, let's give them some backup!" Leo urged as everyone to charge forward to take care of the robots before the group soon broke past security level 1.
"Alright, we made it past, now what?" Adagio asked.
"Hey, what's that?" Pinkie noticed as she pointed at something as Kliff called.
"Ah, looks like one of NSR's patent music rail generator. Activate the rail with your music and you should move to the next security level." Kliff informed.
"Think that'll work?" Yolo asked.
"One way to find out!" Mayday smiled as she began to do her solo and within a split second, the rail had been made, surprising everyone.
"Think this is solid enough?" Donnie checked.
"Only one answer to that, D!" Mikey responded as he was the first to jump on the rail and slide while shouting like a cowboy before he soon landed safely on the other side. "Come on guys, it works!!"
"Well, as they said back home, when in Rome." Casey shrugged as he was the first to jump, with many others following him.
Soon they landed on the other side, while Leo pulled out his swords. "We're not out of the woods yet." Leo pointed out as everuone saw more security.
"Doesn't matter! Let's just do this!" Raph shouted as everyone charged to take down security, as well as the drones. The group kept beating security bots as they broke through all nine security levels as they reached a portal gate that had a portal that looked like a cover from one of SAYU's albums.
"This is it guys." Leo noted.
"Time to go face-to-face with the big boss herself." Mikey declared as everyone went inside before they looked around and was amazed by what they saw.
“Wow, what a dreamy place.” Mayday awed.
“It's beautiful here.” Leo noted.
“You know girls, this kind of reminds me of our home.” Sonata said to her sisters.
“For once I agree with you, Sonata.” Aria admitted before Mikey suddenly pointed upwards..
“Guys, we have company!” Mikey shouted as everyone saw someone coming in, and that was none other than SAYU.
“That's SAYU?” Rainbow Dash asked.
"One and the same." Yolo answered while squinting his eyes.
“Oh my, welcome friends. Are you here to receive the sweet honey bubbles of my angelic voice?” Sayu greeted.
“Awww.” Most of the girls doted.
“She's adorable.” Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie gushed.
“What? Sweet honey bubbles?! Pff, no way.” Mayday scoffed.
“Yeah, right.” Raph agreed while rolling his eyes.
“We can already do that, thank you very much.” Adagio pointed out.
“Yeah, even Fluttershy.” Rainbow added.
“Um, I'm right here.” Fluttershy said, a bit annoyed.
“We're here to bring back rock to Vinyl City!” Mayday declared.
“We're going to show them how awesome it is!” Indigo Zap agreed.
“And that the other music’s aren't the only ones that are powerful!” Pinkie Pie added.
“And...” Mayday was about to say before she cut herself off after she and the others realized something. “Wait, this is ridiculous.”
“Yeah, no kidding.” Donnie deadpanned.
"You said it, Donnie." Casey agreed.
“I can't believe we're talking to this thing. She's not even real.” Mayday whispered.
“Yeah, it's just a hologram.” Applejack agreed.
“And a cheap one at that.” Rainbow Dash added.
“Shh, May... Don't say the R word.” Zuke whispered back.
“Yeah, everyone has feelings.” Mikey agreed.
“And think of the joy it brings to everyone.” Sonata pleaded.
“And it's cute too.” Fluttershy added.
“Really cute.” Pinkie Pie nodded.
“And it's a very taboo subject in this district.” Zuke pointed out as most of the others gave the few deadpanned looks after saying that.
“The 'R' word? You mean real?” Mayday asked in disbelief.
“Are you kidding, right now?” Sour Sweet asked.
“Yeah, I mean look at her!” Sunset pointed out.
“It's a cheap knockoff!” Rainbow said.
“It's a phony!” Applejack added.
“More importantly... She's. Not. Reeeeaaaal!” Mayday said as Sayu gasped at that claim and looked hurt, but then cheered up.
“But I am real. As real as your love for each other, especially the rainbow and country girls.” Sayu said.
“Wait, that?!” Mayday gasped in confusion.
“Huh?!” Applejack gasped, appalled by the idea.
“Seriously?!” Rainbow growled, not liking where this is going.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, now hold on!!” Zuke said.
“I can see it in your eyes! *Wink* Your hearts are pounding like the beating drums of the oceans. Ba-bump. Ba-bump. Ba-bump.” Sayu said.
“Ba-bump.” Mikey repeated happily.
“Ba-bump.” Fluttershy agreed in a cute manner.
“Ba-bump.” Pinkie Pie bubbly added.
“Ba-bump.” Sonata innocently said with glee on her face.
“Ba-bump?” Zuke and Sunset asked in confusion.
“It means follow your heart, you two.” Sayu explained with another eyewink.
Sunset grasped her hands and placed them against her chest with a sudden smile. “I've always tried to follow my heart.”
“I... But there are so many factors to consider, so...” Zuke tried to explain before Raph cut him off.
“Alright, enough of that!” Raph growled.
“Yeah, we're here to fight, right?” Mayday pointed out.
“Of course, we are.” Lemon Zest answered.
“Zuke, snap out of it! And you, you're still not real, so less talk, more rock!” Mayday declared.
“Aw, you're so mean. How could you not take me seriously? Look at me!” Sayu responded as she swam a bit ahead to the edge and the looked back at them. “Seems like I have no choice, but to defeat you with the power of...Love, love, Sayu, Pyuuuun!!!”
“Oh, yeah?!!” Raph growled before the Dazzlings stepped in.
“Sorry everyone, but this is where we shine.” Adagio said.
“Yeah, and since she's a mermaid and mermaids are part of the ocean...” Sonata added.
“That's when we former Sirens come in.” Aria finished before music was heard as bubbles rose from the data stream on the ground.
"Okay, right now we gotta catch up with SAYU." Yolo pointed out.
"Wait!" Sonata noticed as she tossed what appeared to be a small rock against the bubbles, causing the rock to break, surprising the group. "Stay clear of the data stream!"
"Wow, good eye." Rara noted as even both Adagio and Aria were amazed by how Sonata knew that.
"Let's go, guys!" Leo urged as everyone charged after Sayu. However, as they charged, Spike saw highlighted targets on the ground, and when he noticed one was aimed at Twilight.
"Twilight, watch out!" Spike shouted as he pushed her out of the way, making a random laser being fired and landed onto the ground, which surprised the group.
"Wow, thanks, Spike!" Twilight said in gratitude.
"Keep an eye out for more targets, there could be more!" Rainbow pointed out as everyone continued to make their way towards SAYU before they soon made it to her.
"Hey, fish lips!" Lemon Zest shouted.
"How about you come down here and face us!" Mayday added.
"Why hate when we can love! Love is the most powerful power in the world." Sayu giggled cutely as she made her cute mermaid nose.
Suddenly, from behind the scenes, a programmer in a hoodie, was making the cute mermaid noise, whilst the second one looked what appeared to be a periscope, who then pushed it away and pulled out what appeared to be a digital pen and began to draw something at a rapid pace, with the first one smiling and knows what he's planning.
Suddenly, a paint brush icon appeared above Sayu, gaining everyone's attention.
"Whoa, heads up!" Yolo called out as within a split second, Sayu transformed. Her fins and body became more colorful, her hair is also more properly styled whilst holding two of her hands in a V for victory style.
"Oooooooh," The girls awed, minus the Dazzlings, as they were in awe.
"She looks... cute." Mayday admitted.
"Super cute!" Sour Sweet added.
"Try to catch me." Sayu playfully said as she giggled before swimming ahead.
"Hey! Get back here!" Mayday shouted.
"After her! Don't let her get away!" Yolo urged as they began to take chase.
"Great! How the heck are we going to get to her?!" Rainbow asked.
"Hey, look, another one of those magic platform thingies!" Pinkie noticed as she pointed at what Kliff told them earlier.
"Allow me." Yolo said as he did his solo on the bass, allowing them to have a platform to cross over.
"Let's get her, guys! I wanna pinch her cheeks!" Mayday gushed.
"And give her a hug!" Pinkie added while all of them slid down the rails. When the group got to the next island, there were robo-guards and moving voice-music walls with the data streams.
"Whoa, those are new." Indigo Zap noted as Keno threw one of his sticks, causing it to shock and bounce.
"And dangerous." Keno added as he caught his stick.
"We need to try to avoid those." Karai advised.
"Don't forget about the robot flunkies." Shinigami reminded.
"Leave that to me." April said as she used he psychic wave to knock back many robots.
"We're clear, let's move!" Applejack urged as all of them continued to give chase to Sayu before they arrived at the next rail and slid across. However, as they arrived...
From behind the scenes, the two Programmers from earlier, were looking at the third programmer, who appeared to have a sword of something behind his back. The second one who used the pen pointed at the third to unleash SAYU's weapon, causing the third Programmer to do what nearly appeared to be a dance of sorts and were able to create am icon above his head.
Sayu suddenly began to dance as she slowly got into the rhythm of the beat. "Sing and dance with me! One, two, three, peace!" Sayu said as within a split second, SAYU created a trident of her own, twirled it and began to pose with it before she then suddenly swam down to another platform.
"One, two, three, peace!" Most of the girls cheered.
"Girls!" Karai, Shinigami and the guys scolded.
"What's happening to me?!" Mayday gasped.
"It's obvious you girls are falling head over heels for her cute demeanor." Sugarcoat bluntly answered.
"Let's just get going!" Rainbow shouted as all of them used the rails to get from one spot to another. However, they this time knew the target was aimed, causing them to dodge the moment Sayu fired her trident.
"Wait, what's that?!" Sour Sweet pointed out as the group saw what appeared to be a strange device that's shielded for some reason.
"I think that's sort of her source of power. If we can deactivate those shields, we can destroy that thing that will allow us to weaken Sayu!" Donnie informed after scanning it.
"But how?!" Rarity asked.
"The shields are connected on two different small islands! We might stand a better chance against it if we destroyed those!" Twilight noticed.
"We're gonna have to split up at this case! Raph, Donnie, Keno, Karai, you'll go left! Mikey, Casey, Shinigami and April, we'll take right! The rest of you try to distract SAYU as best you can!" Leo ordered as the two groups quickly split up in different directions thanks to Yolo and Zuke, who went with the two groups to help them out. Both groups ran towards the shield generators. "Everyone, smash them to pieces!"
Both sides began to fight and use their weapons to do as much damage as they could. Eventually, both sides were able to destroy them, allowing Sayu's shields to be lowered.
"Her shields are down!" Indigo Zap called out.
"Cover us girls!" Adagio shouted as she, Aria and Sonata stood front and center. "We got this!"
Suddenly, just like their adventures in Crash's world, all three of the girls' Equestrian Magic activated, allowing them to gain their siren wings and would allow them to fly straight towards the digital Icon.
"Oh my, I didn't know you could fly!" Sayu gasped as the Dazzlings flew around and attacked her from all around, delivering as much damage as they could.
"Hey Sayu, I got a cute moment for you!" Sonata shouted before she suddenly did cute poses while swinging her hips. "One, two, three, peace!"
The moment she posed and winked, an instant energy note fired straight towards SAYU, causing her to take some damage.
Adagio swung her hips whilst slowly raising her arms in the air "Have a piece of this!" Adagio yelled before she swung her hip and unleashed another energy note, damaging her again.
Aria began to dance in her way. "Let's show you the true power of the Dazzlings!" Aria declared before she did a pose with her two fingers, causing an energy note to fire at her as well.
Everyone on the ground were amazed by the Dazzlings' moves, even the guys when they regrouped.
"Wow, those two have some good moves." Mayday admitted.
"Those three do have talent." Zuke nodded before Sayu suddenly glitched as if she was malfunctioning. She then lowered herself as two of her eyes look like it had two X's on it. Though she didn't stay down for too long. For what appeared to be a paintbrush appeared, causing it to transform Sayu once more. This time, her hair was longer, she looked more colorful, and one could almost mistake her for a hippy.
From behind the scenes, the second Programmer tapped his hand on the table, with the other two programmers looking at the fourth Programmer. The fourth one, who was asleep, woke up and looked at his compatriats. Suddenly, the Programmer smirked and began to work on his computer, both keyboard and mouse.
"I'm too cute to fight!" Sayu said with a giggle before she swam down to another small island again.
"Come back and fight!" Raph shouted.
"Don't let her provoke you Raph." Leo advised.
"Yeah, we've got bigger problems to worry about." Mikey agreed as everyone quickly went up to the rock rail and slid towards where Sayu was heading next before the backgrounds suddenly got darker as the colors changed.
"Stop." Mayday started.
"Running." Raph added.
"Away." Rainbow Dash continued.
"Sayu!" Mayday finished as Sayu appeared, with her colors and details looking different as well, amazing everyone with that.
"Vinyl, didn't you once do something like this on your first gig a while back?" Octavia asked as Vinyl suddenly shivered, but nodded, with her admitting that she did something like that once.
"Aren't these ones and zeros, wonderful? Through them, I can link my feelings with all my fans around the world!" Sayu said before she aimed her trident in the air. "Everyone! Are you ready?!" Sayu called out as thousands of glowing sticks suddenly appeared, signifying her fans, which surprised the group.
"Whoa, that's a lot of fans." Lemon Zest noticed.
"We'd better try to stop her, pronto." Rara responded.
"Scatter!" Leo shouted, which they did as Sayu shot more lasers at the same time.
"I see another generator!" Mikey called out.
"With three ways this time!" Donnie added.
"The girls and I will take the first rail!" Sunset volunteered herself and the Rainbooms.
"We'll take the second!" Sour Sweet added while volunteering herself and the Shadowbolts.
"We'll take the third!" April finished as Casey, Keno, Karai and Shinigami followed.
Bunk Bed Junction decided to split up too to help out; Mayday went with the Rainbooms, Yolo went with the Shadowbolts and Zuke went with April and her group. The three groups encountered many security, as well as NSR robots and music firewalls, but they were able to make it pass the robots, then the firewalls, allowing them to reach to where they needed to go.
"Smash them to pieces, everyone!" Leo shouted as all three groups were able to destroy the generators, leaving Sayu vulnerable once more.
"Show em' what you got, ladies!" Mikey called out to the Dazzlings.
"With pleasure." Adagio smirked as she flew upwards.
The Dazzlings flew around and sang while they dodged Sayu's attacks at the same time. When all of a sudden, the trio flew together and danced in sync, allowing them to glow more and more brighter at the same time, before they began to harmonize and with a high note, shot a powerful blast at Sayu, damaging her further.
"Alright, girls!" Mikey cheered while the others regrouped as Sayu was suddenly malfunctioning again, she then lowered herself as two of her eyes look like it had two X's on it.
From behind the scenes, the programmers were in a state of panic as all of them ganged up on the second Programmer, clearly scaring them out of their minds.
Suddenly, Sayu malfunctioned again. "Listen to the sounds I want to give you. *Glitch!* No! Enough of you! Please leave this place!"
Everyone was surprised by that reaction.
"Say what now?" Mayday asked in confusion.
"I think she's malfunctioning!" Donnie gasped.
"We should link our intangible feelings. *Glitch!* Shoo! Go away!" Sayu growled.
"Oh, we would, *Determined* but you gotta catch us first!" Rainbow Dash challenged.
"Everyone, back to the platform up top!" Leo ordered as everyone took the rails back up again.The group fled to the top island while the background got brighter and the colors back to normal, only to find themselves at a dead end with no escape.
"Guys, we're trapped!" Pinkie Pie gasped before everyone saw Sayu dancing while she was face to face with them.

Suddenly, the second Programmer smirked with a chuckle, gaining their attention, as if he had just gotten a great idea. The others soon followed his lead, causing them to pose, to activate SAYU's true ultimate power.
Suddenly Sayu began to use her trident to stab it on the ground, making her glow several times.
“What is she doing?!” Rainbow Dash asked as everyone stood ready.
“I don't know, but be ready for anything!” Leo declared before all of a sudden, SAYU transformed again, only this time, her legs were human and her upper half... was a fish. "Never mind!"
“I made up our mind! Get out!! You guys are no longer welcome here! Gwaaah!!!” Sayu roared as everyone screamed in fright from what they were seeing.
“Oh my gosh!” Pinkie Pie gasped.
“That's the most hideous thing I've ever seen!” Sonata screamed.
"Fight now, talk later!" Raph shouted while slightly panicking.
"Whoa. What is. This." Mayday asked in horror before everyone continued to dodge SAYU's attacks as she uses her feet to smash the ground, with everyone else trying to avoid her. Leo threw his throwing star, but it bounced off of her before he noticed the generators around her.
"We gotta smash the generators!" Leo called out
"Though that's going to be hard, considering all four of them are distant from us!" Applejack pointed out.
"Wait, our instruments! We can use our instruments to do some real damage! Once they're down, the Dazzlings can try to do some damage!" Rainbow Dash realized.
"We'll cover you! Goongala!" Casey shouted before firing his exploding pucks at Sayu to distract her.
"Sunset, we'll focus on the first one, but we gotta play the sickest solo in order to power the lasers!" Rainbow said.
"I'm on it!" Sunset responded before everyone continued to distract Sayu as both Sunset and Rainbow began to play the longest solo they've ever played while charging up their guitars, and soon, they were glowing brightly.
"Now!" Rainbow shouted before both she and Sunset unleashed the full power from their guitars, the first generator to be destroyed.
"We got the first one!" Sunset called out
"Now, onto the second!" Donnie added.
"Leave that to me, darlings." Rarity said while holding her keytar as she began to play the notes with her eyes closed, thinking of a strong melody. At the same time, Sunny Flare watched Rarity perform her heart out with widened eyes while seeing her instrument. Is this... Is this what she wants to play? Within mere moments, Rarity unleashed her notes, allowing the second generator to be destroyed. "The second one is down!"
"Two more to go!" Keno listed.
"Don't worry, I got this!" Mayday said as she suddenly twirled her guitar like a baton whilst it was powering up. She tossed her guitar hard, making it spin like a boomerang as it struck the third generator, allowing it to be destroyed. "Third one's down!!"
"We're close guys!" Leo called out before dodging Sayu's attack before she launched an energy wave at Pinkie, which she saw coming.
"Oh no you don't!" Pinkie denied before she instantly hit the wave, turning it into pink energy beams as it launched straight towards the last generator, destroying it in the process.
"Whoa! How did you do that?!" Mayday asked.
"I have no idea!!" said Pinkie whilst just as surprised.
"The shields are down!" Donnie informed.
"Dazzlings, you're up!" Leo shouted as within a split second, the Dazzlings flew towards Sayu and all of them delivered a very strong kick towards her, making her disoriented. Seeing that this was now their chance...
"There's only one way to end this!" Zuke started.
"Let's do this brother!" Yolo continued.
"OK, OK, let's just get rid of this thing! Argh!" Mayday shivered as the three of them stood together. "Red Light!" Mayday shouted, presenting her left fist.
"Yellow Light!" Yolo added, presenting both fists while his right one connected with Mayday's left fist.
"Green Light!" Zuke finished as he presenting his right fist, connecting with Yolo's left fist.
Mayday suddenly grabbed an smiley-face sharp-toothed object and disconnected it from her guitar and threw it away before brought out another one and connected it to her guitar, energizing it as the object flipped, showing a growling moth with sharp teeth as the guitar growled, as Yolo took out what appeared to be a tube and connected it to the top of his guitar, almost turning it into a cannon, while taking out his lucky pic at the same time, with Zuke holding his drumsticks ready, all three of them energized, before the three of them stood side by side. Zuke then tapped his Drumsticks as the three began to be synced with one another.
"BUNKA! JUNKA! SHAKALAKA!!! BAM!!!" The three of them shouted as they released a ball of energy that flew straight towards DJ Supernova, and with great impact, everything went bright, hitting Sayu the hardest. Sayu screeched in pain as she suddenly spun around for a bit, then crash landed hard onto the ground. Everyone else soon regrouped near the fallen digital idol.
"That... was seriously messed up." Raph admitted.
"No kidding, and I thought the magic disaster was worse." Sugarcoat agreed before everyone saw a door appearing on Sayu while it opened, with everyone was curious by what they were seeing.
“Why that door sure looks inviting.” Mayday noted.
“Like somebody is just inviting us in.” Rainbow Dash added.
“Shall we? After you.” Zuke said to the girls.
“What a gentleman.” Rarity smiled before everyone soon jumps in, wondering where it might lead.
Within a split second, everyone arrived at the creator's place, making the creators jump back in fright.
“Bunk Bed Junction on the bridge!” Mayday whooped.
“With the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!” Mikey added.
“The Rainbooms!” Pinkie Pie continued.
“The Shadowbolts!” Lemon Zest cheered.
“The Dazzlings!” Sonata called out
“Along with the rest of our friends in tow!” Pinkie finished as the creators suddenly were at the corner, very frightened. Then Mayday did a creepy laugh as she moved towards them, which frightened the programmers. Mikey suddenly did a creepy laugh from the left and Pinkie did hers from the right. It was still going on, until Raph slapped them at the back of their heads.
“Will you knock it off!” Raph growled before Donnie went over and unplugged the system. The lights went back on and the creators were quite surprised as Donnie tossed the plug away while the others were surrounding them, with most of them having smiles on their faces.
“You guys are a pretty talented bunch.” Mayday said.
“I'll say, the way you programmed her was amazing.” Donnie noted.
“And the digital code you used was just as amazing.” Twilight added.
“And you guys work well together.” Sunset smiled.
“But there are bigger things at play here, and you kids shouldn't get involved.” Mayday advised.
“She's right. Even if you do can take care of yourself, the last thing we wanted was for anyone to get hurt.” Leo agreed.
“Especially kids with great potential.” Coloratura added.
“So, stay at school.” Mayday said.
“Do your homework.” Applejack reminded.
“Do some exercise.” Rainbow Dash added.
“Take care of animals.” Fluttershy smiled.
“Go have a party.” Pinkie Pie said with a squee.
“Do some shopping.” Rarity continued.
“Take care of each other.” Twilight added.
“Make some friends.” Sunset said.
“And most importantly,” Mayday continued until she had a deadpanned tone, which half did a deadpanned voice when she knew what she was going to say. “Don’t turn Sayu into that thing again.”
“Seriously.” Adagio agreed.
“It was a nightmare.” Aria described.
“For realsies.” Sonata nodded before the door suddenly opened to the outside.
“Come on May, let's go home.” Zuke said.
“We still got work to do.” Raph added.
“Alright. Sayonara!” Mayday bid farewell.
“Till next time!” Indigo Zap said, but just as the girls were about to leave, Pinkie whispered to them, making them suddenly surprised.
“What?!” The girls gasped.
“Please, girls, they deserve it at least.” Pinkie requested.
“Fine.” The rest of the girls groaned with a roll of their eyes as they and Pinkie went over to the creators and kissed them, surprising all of them. Once they were done, they soon left.
“Catch you on the flipside!” Pinkie smiled before she closed the door as the creators had goofy smiles on their faces. Even though they lost, they managed to win something in the end.
"Rarity?" Sunny Flare asked while the others were still walking
"Hmm?" Rarity noticed.
"If you have the spare time... mind teaching me how to play a Keytar?" Sunny Flare requested.
"Why I'd be most honored Sunny." Rarity smiled as the group left the building.
Later that day, the news anchorwoman reported live to the audience. "Once again, the group known as Bunk Bed Junction has hijacked yet another concert. Even the cute and bubbly SAYU was not spared from their plan for total dominance. We managed to get hold of these three elusive rockers and their companions whilst they were cowardly fleeing from the scene at the Akusuka district last night."
Then the news showed them live where the group was chilling and having a snack break. However, Mikey widened his eyes and elbowed his brothers, pointing at the news crew, to which soon everyone minus Bunk Bed Junction noticed.
"Bunk Bed Junction. Why are you hijacking NSR's concerts?" The reporter quested.
"Huh?" Mayday wondered as she noticed, even Zuke as he suddenly stood stiff and Yolo glaring at the news, knowing that NSR is watching. "Wait, are you guys from the news? Are we on TV right now?"
"Yes, a lot of people are distressed by your reckless behaviors. Do you have any remorse for your actions?" The reporter asked.
"Wow, I'm on..." Mayday was about to say in glee before she was suddenly shoved away by Raph.
"Reckless behaviors and remorse for our actions? You have the gall to say something like that to us?!" Raph growled.
"Yeah! All of you saw that when they used Rock, they powered the Qwasa energy to its full capacity like all of you, and you denied them that after their successful performance!" Rainbow Dash agreed.
"You even banned pizza, man! What did it ever do to you?!" Mikey shouted.
"The only reason why we're fighting is because everyone has a right to play their music to help power the city during the energy crisis. They wanted to help make a difference and you lot shoved them away. And yes, Mayday threw a hissy fit, but that's not a good reason to ban every other rocker who wants to help make a difference." Leo said
"And you'd better listen well, Tatiana. When we're finished with the other artists... we're coming for you. So you'd better watch out." Yolo declared before a fist suddenly punched at the TV, revealing to be Tatianna, who had been watching the news, with Eve standing next to her.
"Great. You owe me a new TV Tatiana." Eve said.
"I don't even know why you put your TV in my office in the first place. Anyway. We need to fix this, right now. Bring me, the horn of mending." Tatiana ordered.
"The horn of mending? Please do not tell me that you are thinking of asking for that guy's assistance." Eve groaned again in annoyance
"Desperate times call for desperate measures. We'll lose more than just a district, if we don't act immediately. Now bring it!" Tatiana growled.
At the lighthouse on top of the NSR building, Eve and Tatiana were outside before the latter brought up the Horn of Mending and blew it hard and loud as it sounded throughout and beyond Vinyl City, until a mysterious green-skinned burly man with has closed eyes, various intricate designs of henna around his arms and body, having some of his ginger-red dreadlocks are tied into a large ponytail-bun hybrid, while the rest hang low pass his shoulders, on a rice field heard the horn, catching his attention. "Halamak! Saya telah dipanggil lah! DK WEST ON THE WAY! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! [Halamak! I've been summoned lah! DK WEST ON THE WAY! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!]" The man now known as DK West shouted as he ran off towards the NSR building and soon arrived in Tatiana’s office. "Well, well, well, sudah tiba masanya anda memutuskan untuk meniup hon itu! [Well, well, well, about time you decided to blow that horn!]"
"Nice to see you too, DK West." Tatiana greeted back.
"Begitu juga! And hellooo, Miss. Saya tidak melupakan awak. [Likewise! And hellooo, Miss. I haven't forgotten about you.]" DK West said.
"I am going to… check if the editors downstairs need my input." Eve responded as she started to walk away.
"Jumpa lagi, miss. [See you around, missy.]" DK West bid farewell.
"Gross." Eve groaned as she left the room.
"Alright, saya di sini! Anda boleh mulakan bila-bila masa. [Alright, I'm here! You can begin anytime.]" DK West requested.
"I take it you are unaware of the events that had transpired within Vinyl City the past few days." Tatiana assumed.
"Ehaha! Tidak tahu, tidak peduli! [Ehaha! Don't know, don't care!]" DK West shrugged off.
"I thought so. Three bands called Bunkbed Juction, the Rainbooms, the Dazzlings and a few other bands has been slowly claiming our districts. They’re now moving up to-" Tatiana was about to inform before DK West cut her off.
"Chop! Tatiana, sayang, saya di sini bukan untuk bercakap tentang politik Vinyl City, okay? Saya di sini haaanya untuk menerima permohonan maaf anda. Come on, I don’t have all day ni. [Chop! Tatiana, sweetie, I'm not here to talk about the politics of Vinyl City, okay? I'm here juuust to receive your apology. Come on, I don't have all day ni.]" DK West pointed out.
"Mmmhmm. Did I mention that two of the members of this group of bands is a drummer named Zuke and a bass guitarist known as Yolo? Thought that might be of interest to you." Tatiana noted, catching DK West's attention.
"Whoaaaaa. Adakah anda berkata... Zuke dan Yolo? Oh ho ho ho ho. [Whoaaaaa. Did you say... Zuke and Yolo? Oh ho ho ho ho.]" DK West guffawed with a dark smiled and shadows over his face as the heroic bands had no idea of the opponent they were gonna face next.
After the battle with SAYU, everyone took a break from the battle. The Rainbooms were checking their instruments, but even though all of them went through all of that, they were still somewhat stuck in a rut, though the songs that Bunk Bed Junction, as well as the music from DJ Subatomic Supernova and SAYU was catchy and it stuck with them. Rarity on the other hand was busy training Sunny Flare on how to play the Keytar. It was slow, but it was a work in progress.
“Excellent work Sunny, you're really learning well from the Keytar." Rarity smiled.
"Why thank you, dearie." Sunny responded.
"And I must say, you are quite the quick learner." Rarity added.
"Thanks." Sunny Flare smiled.
"Anyone know where the Dazzlings are?" Coloratura asked.
"Oh, they went with Karai and Shinigami on patrol. Probably trying to see what else they could find on NSR." Octavia answered.
"And what about the others?" Indigo Zap pointed out.
"April, Casey and Keno are on a shopping run while Donnie is helping Bunk Bed Junction upgrading the Rainbooms' instruments, and thankfully they were able to finish with Rarity first. Leo and Raph are training up on the rooftops." Spike informed.
"What about Mikey?" Pinkie added out of curiosity while somewhere secret, Mikey was typing away on a computer, which for some reason had soundtracks and singing and everything before he smiled and pressed saved while he stored it in a memory stick.
"Perfect." Mikey muttered.
"Yo Mikey, you out here?!" Rainbow Dash called out, startling Mikey.
"Uh, uh, coming!" Mikey responded before placing the laptop away and quickly joined the others. "So what's up?"
"We're still trying to think of what our next move might be." Applejack answered.
"Indeed, we already took down two districts that were under NSR's control." Rarity noted.
"And Twilight fawning over technology." Sour Sweet teased when everyone looked at the latter.
"I do not!" Twilight shouted, but the pile of tech from the district said otherwise, causing many to laugh at it.
"Hey guys!" Mayday called out as she, Zuke and Yolo walked in with their instruments. "We were able to upgrade your instruments some more."
"Sweet!" Rainbow cheered before she noticed the bumper sticker. "Uh, what's with the stickers?"
"Oh, these aren't your ordinary stickers." Zuke smirked.
"These bumper stickers take your tools to the next level!" Mayday whooped.
"Yeah, meaning twice the offense and defense." Zuke added.
"And the more you play, the more power they feed. Just be careful, cause they are limited after all." Zolo added as Leo, Raph, and the others that went outside came back.
"Hey Leo, what's up?" asked April.
"Kliff says he wants to see us for something." said Raph, whilst noticing the stickers. "What's with the stickers?"
"We'll uh, explain a bit more of what's going on." said Rainbow whilst everyone went to regroup with Kliff.
Soon enough, everyone was at the debriefing room whilst Kliff was preparing to adress the group.
"Sup, Kliff." said Zuke.
"Yeah, we came here like you asked." said Yolo.
"Spectacular performance at Akusuka everyone," said Kliff, "Simply impressive."
"Thanks," said Kliff, "Your gadgets and hints were helpful."
"And the Dazzlings were awesome!!" said Mikey as he was between the said girls, "They really got the moves!! I even got that on camera!!"
Mikey played the way they were moving as they were fighting, which surprised the girls.
"You recorded that?" said Sonata surprised.
"Since when did you make the time to record that?" asked Aria.
"I have my ways." said Mikey whilst he placed his phone away.
"Anyway," said Mayday, "What do you have for us next?"
"Is there any of the other artists that we need to be concerned about?" asked Sunset.
"We're still working on that one." said Twilight.
"But there has been quite the commotion in the alley nearby." said Kliff, which surprised the group.
"What kind of commotion?" asked Donnie.
"You don't think Tatianna is looking for us already, is she?" asked April.
"Not to worry," said Kliff, "I've been monitoring their radio chatter, and so far, nothing's come up so far."
"So we're safe for the time being." said Shinnigami.
"That's right." said Mayday, "Would all of you mind to go see what the fuss is about whilst I finalize these? I'll be done soon."
"No rush, Kliff." said Zuke.
"Yeah, we'll handle it." said Yolo.
"Yeah, take your time." said Mayday, "We'll go see what the hoo haa is about."
"Still, we should be prepared for anything just in case." said Leo.
"So we'll stick to the shadows in the meantime." said Karai.
"Let's go y'all." said Applejack.
"Oh, I hope it's nothing scary." said Fluttershy.
Everyone left the lair, but little do they know, it's only getting started.
The group soon got outside and looked around for anything unusual. Leo motioned the ninjas to head to the rooftops so that they could stick to the shadows and keep watch of Bunk Bed Junction. As the band walked down the street, Kliff messaged them.
"I have a feeling someone is really trying to get our attention. Find the source of the commotion, would ya?" Kliff's message informed.
"Who do you think is trying to get our attention?" Yolo asked, but before anyone could answer, someone approached them. He has yellow skin, wears blue sneakers, white jean trunks, a blue type of shirt with stuff on it, a watch on his left wrist and a bracelet on the right, he scores a beard and ponytail, whilst wearing to different types of headphones on him.
"Mayday, Yolo and Zuke! I've been waiting!" The man exclaimed as he approached the trio.
"Oooh, for what?" Mayday noted..
"Ah, where are my manners? I'm Zam." Zam introduced himself.
"Wait, Zam? As in Zam Bam Kapow from the VC Radio Station?" Yolo noticed.
"That's right. I heard about your gig with the DJ and saw what you did at Akusuka. I gotta say, I'm thrilled to see your efforts to make a change. Simply inspirational!" Zam responded.
"Thanks, Zam." Mayday modestly said.
"We appreciate the support." Zuke added before Mayday suddenly had an idea.
"You know what, why don't you join us in the stand against NSR?" Mayday offered.
"Interesting that you should say so. I'm currently starting my brand-new radio channel for this occasion." Zam replied.
"Oh, that's cool. How are preparations going?" Zuke asked.
"It was going fine until the place was reclaimed just the other day." Zam answered.
"Wait, NSR shut you down?!" Yolo exclaimed in shock.
"Unfortunately. It'll take some time for me to recover my equipment and set up my broadcast booth." Zam informed.
"You need a place? Why don't you come over to our pad. We happen to have some extra space." Mayday said.
"Can I? Really?!" Zam asked in excitement.
"What do you say, guys?" Mayday responded when she looked at her fellow bandmates.
"Sure thing, the more the merrier." Zuke said.
"Anything for my favorite radio guy." Yolo smiled in agreement.
"Awesome! I'll get Zam FM up in a jiffy, and have you guys on it soon!" Zam cheered in excitement before he left in a hurry as he got really excited.
"Nice guy. And I didn't know you were a fan." Zuke commented before looking at Yolo.
"I always listen whenever he's on air. He's the reason why I got so pumped up about music." Yolo explained as the trio continued to walk down the street, looking for any signs of the guy responsible. However, when Yolo looked ahead, he stopped like a deer frozen in headlights. For right ahead, he saw a familiar looking wagon, a wagon he hadn't seen since...
"No... it can't be." Yolo muttered before Bunk Bed Junction suddenly heard cries and a loud thud as smoke appeared in front of them. The three looked and saw their friends on the ground, groaning and trying to get back up.
"Guys! What happened?" Mayday asked as she and the others went over.
"I have no idea, yo." Casey groaned while rubbing his sore head.
"One minute we were sticking to the shadows..." Keno said.
"Next thing we knew, we were tossed here." Lemon Zest added.
"It's unlikely someone would've seen us from the shadows." Sugarcoat pointed out.
"Someone is definitely expecting us." Donnie noticed.
"When I get my hands on him...!" Raph growled.
"Ease up Raph, we don't know anything about this guy, so we'll need to be discreet." Leo explained.
"Agreed, but where would we start looking?" Sunset wondered as they were able to get up.
"We could always try the alley." Pinkie suggested as she pointed ahead.
"Agreed, use caution everyone." Karai warned as the group soon went down the alley, to find out who was trying to gain their attention.
The group encountered a strange man. "Fuyooooh, amacam bros?"
"Oh brother..." Zuke groaned.
"Uh-oh, this is not gonna be pretty." Yolo dreaded.
"Eh-eeeeh, sudah mendapat gadis baru, bros? So fast! Berapa ramai wanita yang kamu berdua ambil pada masa kini lah huh? Eheheheh. Missies, nama DK West! Ewah! Rhythm bayang superguy! Ewah! Luar biasa dahulu dan sekarang! Ewah!... Dan yang paling penting, saya juga kebetulan Yolo dan Zuke- {Eh-eeeeh, got new girls already, bros? So fast! Just how many ladies you two picking up nowadays lah huh? Eheheheh. Missies, name's DK West! Ewah! Shadow rhythm superguy! Ewah! Past and present extraordinaire! Ewah!... And most importantly, I also happen to be Yolo and Zuke's-}" DK West was about to fully introduce himself as Zuke facepalmed.
"Oh brother-" Zuke groaned.
"Exactly! Yolo and Zuke's big brother!" DK West confirmed.
"Brother?!" Everyone, minus Zuke and Yolo in the group exclaimed.
"That's right." Yolo muttered before turning to the others. "Everyone, this is West. Mine and Zuke's older brother. But he also goes by DK West ever since he went and took the career of being a rapper."
"Sila berjumpa dengan anda semua. Anda mesti Mayday, serta rakan-rakan anda dari dunia lain yang arwah telah beritahu saya. {Please to meet all of you. You must be Mayday, as well as your friends from the other world that the spirits have told me about.}" DK West noticed.
“Oh? So this is your brother?” Mayday whispered to Zuke.
“How come you never told us you had a brother?” Pinkie Pie wondered.
"It's uh... complicated." Yolo muttered, having a feeling this is going to be ugly.
“How come you don't share his accent?” Mayday asked.
“Yeah, and how come he looks a bit different from you?” Applejack added.
“I don't know, why is your and Applejack's hair yellow, why is Twilight and Donnie such nerds, why does Raph have anger issues, why does Sunset's hair look like bacon, why does Pinkie and Mikey constantly be weird and want to party, why is Rarity afraid of being dirty when she gets dirty from fighting, why is Fluttershy always so timid, why is Rainbow Dash always so cocky and her hair a literal rainbow, why was the Dazzlings power hungry and why were the Shadowbolts such jerks to other people before they became nice?!” Zuke deadpanned as the ones he mentioned looked at him baffled, as if he just insulted them, while Mayday had a deadpanned look on her face.
“What's that got to do with anything?!” The rest of the group replied.
"Seriously? You're going to go there, now?" Yolo asked while looking at Zuke with a flexed eyebrow.
"Nevermind that. West? What are you doing here?”
“Oooh, tiada apa. Sekadar berkongsi dengan orang di sini bagaimana bunyi muzik sebenar. Aha! {Oooh, nothing. Just sharing with the people here what real music sounds like. Aha!}” DK West playfully said.
"Seriously?" Yolo muttered as he slapped his forehead.
“Real, music?” Zuke repeated that last bit before facepalming. "Ugh. Adakah anda benar-benar mahu melakukan ini di sini?! Sekarang?! {Ugh. Do you really wanna do this here?! Now?!}"
"Kami bukan kanak-kanak lagi, West. Kami berada di tengah-tengah sesuatu dan anda mahu bertindak seperti kami kembali ke rumah semula. {We're not kids anymore, West. We're in the middle of something and you want to act like we're back home again.}" Yolo pointed out.
“Oh, now they have the accent.” Lemon Zest noticed.
"Oooowie! Awak selalu macam tu, angry only. Saya lupa hari lahir awak, you angry. Saya tak balas mesej awak, you angry. Saya jual set dram awak, you angry. Saya guna gitar Yolo sebagai pencakar belakang, you angry! {Oooowie! You're always like that, angry only. I forget your birthdays, you angry. I don't answer your messages, you angry. I sold your drum set, you angry. I use Yolo's guitar as a back scratcher, you angry!}" DK West listed as Mikey and Yolo gasped at that.
"You used my bass guitar as a back scratcher?!" Yolo angrily shouted.
“You're darn right they have a right to be angry!” Mikey addded before everyone looked at him surprised
“Wait, you can understand him?” Zuke asked.
“Yes, I do! And the reason why Zuke's always angry is because his brother never answer his calls, sold Zuke's drumset and also forgot his birthday!” Mikey informed as everyone minus the Turtles, Mayday and Zuke gasped loudly at that while also getting angry.
“Why you no good!” Applejack growled before Pinkie was suddenly in DK West's face, startling the rapper.
“You forgot his birthday?” Pinkie uttered in a very dark manner. “Birthdays are a sacred tradition!” Pinkie shouted before Twilight pulled her back with her magic, with West, Zuke, Yolo and Mayday looking at her, confused.
“She's an expert on parties, even birthdays. She takes it seriously.” Rainbow Dash explained.
"Jadi, kita perasan. Hey, jangan macam tu lah. {So, we notice. Hey, don't be like that lah.}" DK West said.
“Stop it West. You're disrupting our music revolution, man. We've got tons to do, and we don't have time to play around with you, you understand?!” Zuke growled.
"Seriously West, you've got to stop this." said Yolo, "We're not in grade school and we've moved on. You're the only one who refuses to listen to anyone."
"Eeh, relax bro, relaaaax. Jika anda mahu peminat anda kembali, ia mudah. Tunjukkan kepada mereka siapa sebenarnya! Hadapi saya dalam... E-E-E-Ewah, Rap battle! {Eeh, relax bro, relax. “I said, I don't have time for-” Zuke tried to say before he was cut off.
"Okay lah, saya akan pergi mencuri lebih ramai peminat anda kemudian. {Okay lah, I'll go steal more of your fans then.}" DK West shrugged.
“Ugh, fine then! Let's get this over with!” Zuke shouted.
“Ha! Ha! Caya Iah!” DK West exclaimed in excitement.
“Uh, do we really have to...?” Donnie was about to ask before Mikey cut them off.
“Let him do this.” Mikey said.
"Here we go again." Yolo muttered as DK West stood in position as the music starts. He then thrusted his hands forward, causing a shadow to move underneath.
When you see Zuke in school He was constantly out of fuel All he does is follow me like a stinking fly He can't help it coz I'm the trailblazing guy Zuke knows nothing like a baby Everywhere he looks he thinks maybe I had to show him the ropes But all he does is mope
Suddenly, a massive shadow figure appears and is somewhat the shape of a man like creature, which shocks everyone.
"Whoa, that thing is massive!" Sonata exclaimed
"How are we going to stop it?!" Shinigami asked but when the Shadow tried to strike, something blocked it left and right.

Everyone looked behind and to their surprise, they saw Vinyl playing the rapper music, while commanding shadows of her own. She shows a grin while giving a thumbs up, showing that she's got Zuke's back. The latter smiled back and rapped back, while Vinyl used her own shadows.
Zuke:
Oh, you should see West in school He ain't nothing but a ridicule He thinks he's the top student But when in truth he's nothing but imprudent Feels like he's entitled to everything Tells the birds for him they should sing Chest up, walks around proud But a small push, and he will sure drop loud
Vinyl's shadow suddenly appeared, which surprised everyone, even DK West as Vinyl's shadow began to strike left and right.

"Dude, this is intense..." Mikey awed.
"Agreed..." Sonata nodded as DK West groaned and looked ahead. Obviously he wasn't going to let this lie down, so he continued.

The shadow once again appeared, this time, with Vinyl being prepared as she used her shadows to block the shadow monster

Now it was Vinyl's turn to attack the shadow as Zuke took a turn while he laughed at DK West.

Haha haha haha haha Being popular don't mean a thing You think you're the centre of everything But this greatness that you speak Simply hides the fact that you're meek And these delusions are really your illusions And your rhymes are just behind the times You think that you are a king But if I said that, I'd be lying The world doesn't revolve around you Even in a multiverse, you're not worth a verse Huh West (Where's) West? At the same time, Vinyl's shadow appeared and beating the crud out of DK West's shadow, which the rapper master felt.

“Wow, he's really good.” Rainbow said.
“Same with Zuke. Didn't know he had it in him.” Fluttershy added.
“Same here.” Mayday agreed before DK West began to show his game face as he wasn't going to let this go.

Then how about Zuke in college? He still thirsts for my knowledge Only knows how to trail me by Or else, aduhai, he does nothing but cry He thinks he's a real ace When he's a real bad case All he does is copy my moves and make mismatched tempos that don't groove
The shadow once again tries to strike, this time at Vinyl's shadow, but she kept dodging it left and right.

Vinyl's shadow began to go on the offensive.

Vinyl's shadow began to beat both DK West and his shadow

But West wasn't going to give up, he still had some fight left in him.

After the final blow, Vinyl's shadow defeated DK West's shadow, making it vanish, with DK West himself collapsing from exhaustion as everyone cheered at both Vinyl and Zuke for their performance.
"That was awesome!" Rainbow Dash said in excitement.
However, after the cheering went down, DK West stood back up.
"Eeeleh! Anda hanya menang kerana saya benarkan anda! {Eeeeleh! You only won because I let you!}" DK West shrugged off.
“What?!” Everyone exclaimed.
“No, you didn't!” Zuke retorted.
“He's right. He won fair and square.” Leo agreed,
"Beritahu awak, awak pergi rehat dulu lah. Saya kembali apabila awak rap seperti a pro, okay bro? West out! {Tell you what, you go take a break first Iah. I come back when you rap like a pro, okay bro? West, out!}" West bid farewell as he left.
“Unbelievable.” Raph grumbled when all of a sudden...
“Hey where are you going? I won this battle fair and square, you hear me?! Hey! Hey! Right, okay, leave! Just, leave!” Zuke angrily shouted as everyone was surprised by that anger.
“Oookay, I'm sensing a looot of anger here.” Mayday noticed.
“Yeah, usually that's Raph and Sunset's job.” Mikey quipped, causing Raph to growl and Sunset to look at him with a stink eye. “Need I bring up Cozy Glow again?”
The two of them winced at that and looked away in embarrassment.
“What happened to Zuke, the chilliest music man in Vinyl City?” Mayday asked.
“Indeed. You never get angry like this before.” Rarity added in worry as Zuke sighed.
“Yeah, I know. I know! Just that, this guy is so...so...ARGH!!!” Zuke roared as he then marched off in a huff, leaving the others concerned.
"Um, Yolo? Do you mind telling us what that was about?" Octavia asked
"It's a long complicated story. Zuke and I looked up to West when we were little. But overtime things change when we got older. I never wanted any part of their feud considering I know what it does to people. Plus I try to stay out of it. I tried my best to be a peacemaker. But no matter how hard I tried, it always got worse." Zuke explained.
"Yeesh..." Spike winced.
"Yeah, no kidding. I'll just... go clear my head." Yolo sadly said before he walked a bit ahead, with Mayday watching, feeling sorry for him until she felt a shove, and noticed Pinkie Pie, motioning her to help him. Mayday nodded and went over to him.
"You... need some company?" Mayday offered as Yolo thought about that
"Yeah... I'd like that." Yolo accepted as the two of them walked together, wanting to clear things up. Mikey on the other hand... he knew what that was like, and couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor guy.
