Arabesque, a shy, lonely lover of music, just wants to blend in at Canterlot High. That's rather hard when you: A) have no social skills whatsoever, B) make friends with someone who tried to take over the school, and C) fall in love with someone who should never be caught dead with you.

Arabesque has a lot on her plate, and she'll need her only two friends to help her through it all.

Right after the Battle of the Bands, the Dazzlings agree to learn from their mistakes and move on ,possibly become friends with the Rainbooms. But, the problem is where are they going to live and how are they have the courage to go back to CHS? Aria thinks if she gets a job criticizing kid films that can solve those problems. Adagio believes that won't help, so Aria stomps off to find a taxi to go to her interview for the job. She said she'll come back and get them when she gets a house, a job, and a car. She leaves Adagio and Sonata in the rain.
Now Aria is nervous if this going to work out.

There's nothing worse than running into your exes, especially when you still hate their guts - yet fate can't seem to let the Dazzlings stay away from each other. Adagio doesn't know why she expected anything different.

Defeat keeps a lingering taste at the back of your throat. Everything feels tense and the frustrations only add to it. Mentally and physically. It's a feeling that we've never come to know. Now we have to be reminded everyday about it.

It feels like I'm being provoked. That someone is laughing at me somewhere. Always smiling in glee that we no longer pose a threat to others. I am not one to be pushed around. I am a Goddess! I refuse to be humiliated in this manner! So how dare they! I'll find a way. You won't get away with this! My name is Adagio Dazzle and you will respect my name!

-This is how the Dazzlings continued their lives after the experience of their defeat at the hands of the Rainbooms in the Canterlot High School Music Festival. Will they learn their lesson? Will they survive? Or is their struggle only beginning? Every gem in time loses its luster and its features dull out, yet can these hidden gems shine again? Let's find out.

Several months have passed since the Dazzlings' defeat at the hands of Sunset Shimmer and her friends, and Sonata Dusk finds herself living on her own in a very strange place. Rude statues, unconventional forms of rent, and otherworldly beings as other tenants are the least she has to come to terms with.

Especially when she finds out that her new place is only a few blocks down the road from her biggest cause of worry.

She could leave, but she'd have to live on the streets, and the autumn wind is only getting colder. Can she survive in an apartment where the closets come pre-stocked with skeletons of their own and the water only works if you ask nicely?

Probably not, but what does she have to lose?

It's a particularly heavy snow day in the city, and Sonata Dusk is more than happy to play in the snow.

However, when neither Aria nor Adagio can play with her, she does the next best thing: challenge the first person that walks by.

Who just so happens to be Flash Sentry.

This can only end well.

Adagio, Aria, and Sonata were both happy ponies who lived in a happy life. But when all was lost, a stranger makes a deal with Adagio to give she and her sisters whatever they desired. But Adagio did not expect what the stranger really offered.

Who knew that a lifelong friendship could become so strong, all thanks to a simple piece of candy.
