Snips and Snails decide to write a shipfic about their two all-time greatest heroes, the Great and Powerful Trixie, and Rainbow Dash. Because that's what fanboys do.

Natrually, a true piece of literary genius is produced as a result. They may have even got Cutie Marks for it, had they not already discovered their special talents.

In a far-flung version of Equestria, Luna City sits as the pinnacle of magical and technological advancement. Corporations, gangs, and politicians alike fight for control of this smog-choked neon wonderland, leaving everypony else to either adapt and fend for themselves or fall through the cracks and disappear.

In this world where cybernetics are as common as piercings and radical surgery is as accessible as fast food, the body is as much a canvas for self-expression as elaborate dresses and fancy hats once were.

Of course, if you want to find something truly unique, you have to look beyond the polished ads and corporate showrooms...

...and take a walk into the world of Underground Fashion.

It's that magical time of year, somewhere in between Nightmare Night and Winter Wrap-up, when school's out on break and snow covers everything and parents send kids like Sweetie Belle outside to shovel. But when this Crusader takes it upon herself to let the light of generosity shine on her next door neighbor, she may get more than she bargained for... and may make an unlikely friend in the process.

This was my first story on FimFiction, and an entry for The EFNW 2015 Pre-Con Contest.

This is set sometime after the events of S2 E15 (The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000) but before S5 E9 (Slice of Life).

Snails is a loner, he always has been.
Nopony could ever love the so called "ugliest" colt in class.
Which is probably why he yet has no Hearts and Hooves day cards.
But a twist of event's causes Snails heart to flutter and his future to be questioned.
Will he get the girl, or will he still be lonely?
(Haha! Twist! Get it? Hahahaha...ha........ha......... ugh just read the story)

As every part of his life spins in a different direction, Snails stands firm at the center of an unbeknownst torrent of world-changing adolescence, and contemplates something simple.

This story is a sequel to No Need For A Fairy Godmother: Parents' Guide to Raising Gifted Teens

A lazy day, snuggled with her girlfriend on the couch and not having to deal with magic, mayhem, or the ramifications of her myriad of past choices...that was what Sunset had been hoping for.

Its never that simple when you're Sunset Shimmer, and the universe chose to remind her about that with a knock at the door. What followed made her look back on her past, on parts of it she didn't like thinking about, and what's worse, she owed Twilight a few explanations...

Can she just go back to bed instead?

The next story in the Rubicon series, after Cross the Rubicon: Choices and No Need For a Fairy Godmother, yet another piece in the puzzle of cleaning up the mess left by the Friendship Games.
