— Being rewritten from Chapter 2 onwards —

A band of adventurers use an ancient spell to escape the poverty and prejudice of their homeland, not only leaving their country but their entire world. However, the spell wasn’t perfect. Scattered across a land seemingly full of sentient equines, they discover that their ties to the past aren’t so easily severed.

How will Equestria treat them? And how will they stay safe from the evil that lurks behind them?

I’ve been a long time lurker of FiMFiction for, like, ever, and I figured it’d be fun to try and give something back to the site that’s given me so many good reads. That being said, I haven’t watched the show in a HOT MINUTE so expect some slower updates at first as I catch up with the show. This is also based off of some old characters I made for -- and concepts I love from -- Dungeons and Dragons!

Rated Teen for language, and (eventually) light violence .

This story is a sequel to Lateral Movement

(This story is a direct continuation of an existing plotline; new readers are strongly encouraged to check out the original Lateral Movement before starting in on what's here.)

Having transcended mortality to become a titan, Lex Legis has gained more than he ever imagined possible. But despite possessing godlike power, myriad magical artifacts, and staggering material wealth, he knows no peace.

Exiled to the plane of Everglow, Lex's ambition of conquering Equestria remains unfulfilled, with powerful forces preventing him from returning home. With his enemies mobilizing and his allies having agendas of their own, Lex is forced to contend with an array of gods, titans, and other beings that are intent on manipulating him for their own ends...or destroying him altogether.

But Lex is used to confronting powers greater than his own, and his adversaries may soon find themselves facing a foe unlike any they've ever encountered.

There are tales that were written, but weren't told. There are tales that were known, but not written. There are tales that happened, but not known. So on and so forth. One must wonder: how much mysteries that were seen, but never uncovered? How many adventures left unknown to the vast majority? And were any of the told true? Or were they just lies weaved thick enough to seem like a truth?

To the ponies of Ponyville, those questions may never come up, if they have ever thought of them. But some did ask themselves, after what they had seen, and what they were going to see. Pack your saddlebags, get new pairs of horse shoes, and take a deep breathe. We are going to tell a tale. A big tale about the war waged between planes of existence. A small tale about a little girl and her extraplanar friend's birthday party. A tale of companionship, of worlds beyond the known, of the wonderous and the mystical!

All of which began with a little dance, a oddly shaped arch and two clueless mares.

A story inspired by the Planescape setting of Dungeons and Dragons. Follow our team of ponies, fey, undead and the like, in an adventure between the planes. It doesn't follow any D&D edition, instead the story is based on D&D lore and homebrew lore from the author

Twilight, being the nerd she is, decides to create a large D&D campaign for her friends! They agree, of course, and head to her large tree castle. It starts off as a small campaign, not intriguing the more adventurous or excited people like Pinkie, AJ, or Rainbow. But Twilight brings in a twist, having them more involved in the story.

A modern woman ended up in Ponyville and promptly met a familiar background pony. But that idyllic setting was not to be where they stayed. Instead they fell together through a hole between realities. They landed someplace else that wasn't all friendship and rainbows, Everglow.

Wildemount, an ancient land torn apart by war and lorded over by two great powers, the Dwendallian Empire and the Kryn Dynasty. With many people caught up in the machinations of the two nations, there are plenty of stories to be told around this storied land. But as the War of Ash and Light looms on the horizon, things are not going to be easy for them.

From around Wildemount, a group of unlikely heroes come together in the town of Talonstadht near the ruins of the destroyed nation of Draconia. Their stories may yet change the face of Wildemount however, if they can work together at least.

Now its their turn to roll.

This story re-imagines the Mane Six and others as characters in the Dungeons and Dragons setting of Wildemount. Also a bit of a crossover with the popular webseries Critical Role, but knowledge of that is not necessary.

It all was planned so perfect, twilight would run a d&d campaign, all her friends would join, and everyone would be involved in an intense story. Too bad for twilight when pinkies involved, things get weird.

This is a story inspired by my D&D group where when two of us couldn't make a session our characters got put in an alternate dimension for the year that that session spanned. Permission has been givin by the players of the involed characters to write this story.

Abilities of the characters have been exaggerated for a better story.
