  Sunset hates dealing with chaos surges, no matter how amusing Moon Dancer finds them. After a particularly annoying surge while tutoring Moon Dancer in her advanced telekinetic studies, Sunset takes refuge in the teacher’s lounge. Though she was only looking for a cup of scalding hot tea, Sunset finds a pony walking down the same path she once walked, giving her an opportunity she’s never had before…

Historian’s Note: Set in a timeline where the Sonic Rainboom never happened, Bell Curve occurs in Sunset’s second year as an aide for Professor Apple Polish at Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns and several years before the events in The Application of Unified Harmony Magics.

On the last day of school before summer vacation, Cheerilee informs her students that she's going to pursue her doctorate in Fillydelphia, and won't be returning as their teacher in the fall. Her friends and students alike spend her last night in Ponyville bidding farewell and showing their appreciation for her, each in their own unique way.

But one student, in particular, has a hard time coping.

Originally written for the Writeoff Association's July 2016 prompt* and published under the title Bonitatem Doce Me, this story has been revised, rewritten, and expanded from its previous version. Featured on EqD on 8/9/16. Also featured in the Royale Canteloupe Liberty.

This is a story about Big Macintosh saving Cheerilee from falling rocks.

It was written for the BronyCon panel "Hoof of Argon," where intentionally bad fanfic was read out loud by some very brave bronies. Now you can enjoy it at home, whenever you want (or print it out and burn it.)

Another year has passed, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders are still without their cutie marks. Now well past the time when they should have discovered their special talents, it’s time for them to receive the only kind of assistance that can help a cutie mark appear, the understanding heart of another. The counselor who once helped Cheerilee when she got her cutie mark will certainly have his hooves full today!

Becoming an alicorn isn’t a reason to give up on friendly get-togethers. Brunch and a competition to solve the Manehattan Times crossword puzzle is a Sunday tradition for Twilight Sparkle, Cheerilee, and Mayor Mare. As the newest alicorn studies her developing magic, she will learn an unexpected lesson about the power of words.

Big Mac doesn’t say much. That’s just his way. However, when a routine medical exam reveals he’s going to lose his voice, he decides he’d better get his last round of speaking in while he still can. Saying a few last words to his friends (and asking out a certain schoolteacher) is all he planned on doing. If only he understood the full repercussions of opening his big mouth.

Not foalcon. Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo are all in grade eleven. Written at 11:30 at night, because why not? I was originally going to make this about Diamond Tiara having a crush on Apple Bloom, but I decided against it.

After spending the night at her date's house, Cheerilee reflects on her life and meets somepony she didn't quite expect.
