This story is a sequel to The Ponies who Played with Fire

Warning: Some comments may contain spoilers

After being injured during the events of The Ponies who Played with Fire, a now-captive Discord is awaiting trial for murder, while Fluttershy and her small band of allies are facing possible enemies on every side in their desperate struggle both to clear Discord's name and avoid their own capture.

AU Fluttercord set eleven years after the first three seasons minus the Discord episodes. Inspired by Discord and Fluttershy's relationship both in the show and several fanfics (*cough* Bride of Discord *cough*) Based loosely on the plot from "The Girl who Kicked the Hornets' Nest" by Stieg Larsson. Rated T for some plot-related Murder Mystery Elements.

The Stream of Silence has been invoked. Kirin society is calm, peaceful, and placid, and the fear of niriks rampaging and causing unimaginable damage is no more. For the inhabitants of the kirin village, it is a new, relaxing lifestyle, albeit with a few quirks. Charcoal Stream was like any other kirin, and appreciated the slow and quiet pace of her existence.

At least, until she needed to be heard most.

For decades, the tales of heroes and capes have captured the minds of young children across Equestria. Stories of villainy most foul and the brave ponies who stopped at nothing to secure freedom and justice. It has been 20 years since a new story has been told, and as the young and brash Silver Spade is about to learn, some heroes are born through fire.

Follow this tale of conspiracy and corruption, of perseverance and dignity, as the forces lurking in Canterlot's shadow are revealed and the battle is fought for one stallion's vengeance.

Welcome to The Ghost of Coltistrano. As a little context to this story, it's something of a love letter to the age of old pulp heroes like Zorro, Lone Ranger, the Shadow, etc.. I really wanted to try my hand at both writing a novel and setting up a world where these sort of pulp themes intertwine with the MLP show itself. As you read, you may find hints and easter eggs to other properties, all of which are intentional, and are meant to pay homage to the many sources of inspiration this story has. +5 points to anyone who finds them all :raritywink:

Depending on the turnout of this story it may be turned into a full-fledged series, including short stories and larger installments later on down the road. So please, enjoy. Check out the sequel!

This story is a sequel to Discursive Formations: Snow Patrol

As I sleep, I see flashes of before the slumber. I see when we stalked and learned. Eventually, I will awaken. I am a scout.

Written as a prequel to Snow Patrol by The Red Parade as part of Quills and Sofa Speedwriting group event "Expanded Universes." We submitted prompt stories that others could write a prequel or sequel to over a weekend.

It is recommended, if you have not, to read the original first. It's a great story in its own right.

I got that new app game "My Little Pony: Friendship Quest", you know, the one where you go around as Twilight Sparkle and have to make new friends to win coins and prizes? Maybe it's just me, though, but I've been getting a lot of glitches in my game since the new update... Snuzzle won't leave me alone.

For the vast majority of Equestria’s recorded history, there were only two alicorns. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were divine, unique, and to even imagine a time before them was impossible.

After thousands of years, two more alicorns were born, and ponies started asking questions. Where do alicorns come from? Why are they so long-lived? What exactly does a pony need to do to ascend?

Neither of the ancient sisters were interested in answering those questions, if they even knew themselves, and that is where the leads died for so many intrepid students, scholars, and scientists. But nopony could stand between Twilight Sparkle and the truth.

Nopony, with one possible exception.

What happens when a pony develops a phobia of a colour that surrounds her?

Asking for a friend.

An entry for Nightmare Night in April 2024 ( group | stories ).

Originally written for the Bean's Writing Group prompt "Trying to escape from somewhere/someone". On top of the prompt, and the "using color to convey emotion" bonus, I also tried to write it with only periods.

Thanks to RDT and Silk Rose for pre-reading and feedback.
