An extended, fan “Snyder Cut” reimagining of the pilot two-parter episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Thousands of years ago, a great battle commenced between the forces of Night and Day. Nightmare Moon, the Queen of the Night, amassed an army to try and take down the benevolent reigning Princess Celestia. With no other choice, Celestia used the fabled Elements of Harmony to seal the Dark Alicorn away in the Moon. But it was prophesied that on the longest day of the thousandth year, the stars would aid in her escape and she would return to bring eternal night upon the magical Kingdom of Equestria.

Only six ponies of very different backgrounds stand a chance of coming together in an unprecedented and unlikely friendship to take down the Mare in the Moon once and for all. But will they be enough to finally do what the Princess herself could not…?

Two ponies from completely different backgrounds are notified of a whistleblower threatening to compromise their careers about a closeted little secret. With a spot of being Ponyville's next mayor on the line, they agree on one thing: never let journalists release work in the public interest.

General Zod the Kyrptonian warlord who for years been trying to conquer the Planet earth or as he calls it planet Houston. However during a battle with a internet celebrity known as the Nostagia Critic his dreams of conquest have been shattered and now he finds himself in a whole new world inhabited by strange Pony creatures. Will his power and abilities be able to get the inhabitants of this world to submit to his will. Will General Zod make the Ponies of Equestria........ KNEEEEEEEEEEEL!

Although not required it might be good to watch the Nostagia Critic movie to Boldly Flee to understand a bit of background on the villains. But beside that not really necessary. Here's a link to the fully move null

Kathranis Shadowsong, Blademaster of a band of refugee elves, finds himself transported into the realm of Equus as the result of a misfired spell. Equus is in a time of strife following the rise of the Royal Pony Sisters over the land of Equestria, and many old nations fear the power of the self-crowned goddesses. Thrown into the mix are a new race of humans, orcs, and elves that find themselves teetering on the edge of war. Follow the elvish ranger as he finds his way through a new world filled with new friends, foes, and even new gods that he finds himself in contest with.

Set before the rise of Nightmare Moon. The opening scene (and some cursory background knowledge) is based loosely on the Haunted Lands trilogy by Richard Lee Byers. I highly recommend the series, as it is one of my favorite D&D reads.

The legendary four horsemen of the apocalypse, Famine, Pestilence, War and Death are freed from Tartarus and prepare to wreak havoc on Equestria again. They spread out across the land to four different cities, with four different groups of heroes. Mane 6, Princesses and background ponies alike must team up to defeat these monsters before they plunge equestria into an eternal hell.
(Just a memo, the comedy in the story will show itself every now and then. This is going to be a super-long story, and as such it's going to be sad, happy, action-y and dynamic. Also, this story is NOT going to have excessive gore; there's only one chapter that made me add that. This is not a biblical fic, I'm simply using characters originally from the bible in the story, their personalities are invented by yours truly.)

Kujuta lives his life as a wanderer, feared by raiders and often hated by ponies due to his background as a war-era Zebra. When he meets Salsa, an enthusiastic pony who sees him as a hero, he joins him on a mission to save the ponies of Sunbeam Bay. But Blacktail's gang of pirates may not be the only danger to Kujuta: perhaps he has more to fear from himself.

Written for the Fallout: Equestria group's 500 member contest. It may appear to have more words than the limit, but that is due to this site. When shown in Gdocs or Word, it should be exactly 5000. Salsa is my character in the Turn of an Era roleplay group, and his origin story (actually about his mentor) can be found here.

The weather reports said it was clear and sunny skies all day, ‘A perfect day for flying!’

Yeah right...Well, I guess they weren’t entirely wrong. They just didn’t account for some newbies getting lazy with a storm heading somewhere else. 

Hindsight is 20/20 they say, and boy are they right. I guess I should have picked a better day to fly huh?

Twilight Sparkle is used to being a little unicorn - except now she's an alicorn, and she feels anything but little. Luckily she's got a way to make herself feel like the ittybitty filly she sees herself as, but can she keep it a secret from her marefriend for much longer? And when Applejack finds out, what will happen next?

CONTAINS: TwiJack, some background FlutterMac, ABDL, regression, and padded pony princess posteriors.

(I've taken a lot of inspiration from one of my favourite writers, Applejinx. I get the feeling this isn't their thing, but if you like wild, beautifully written plots with lots of clop and rudeness you might want to check out their stories! I never would have written this weirdo diaper novel without 'em! ;p)

Personally rated "Young Adult"--no explicitness, but any and all triggers short of it are on the table. I personally recommend reading this story in the Serif font.

Three worldly mares--self-identifying as the BGs (Backgrounders)--bring fun and a semblance of meaning to their oddly dysfunctional lives by carousing, canoodling, and capitalizing on chances to help the world that rejected them. However, the three share one other bizarre commonality--and once it is discovered, a more intense and insane journey begins. Life won't be the same--nor was it ever. A mystery-genre emotional roller coaster inspired by, and in tribute to, SS&E's Background Pony. Also contains significant Bee Gees and maybe other song references, if you're into that sort of thing.
