Starlight Speedster is your average everyday pegasus. He helps out on the Weather Patrol, buys the occasional cake at Sugarcube Corner and generally blends in to the background. His life is simple and he's happy with it.

Unfortunately he's not had the greatest day, as he had to take a double shift because Rainbow Dash didn't turn up to work. Surely having a drink at the local bar will ease his nerves...

Rated Teen for mild language and alcohol references. Also contains some RariJack, but not enough to warrant the Romance tag.

I have written two versions of this story: One is a humanized version (the original) and the other is a ponified version. (The story works even better in the setting of Equestria) I'm not going to describe much of it because it is a short story and anything more than the short description may spoil it, however I would like to explain why the two different versions have different endings. I find Equestria an idealized world, where everything is tied up in neat little bows, (like many imaginary) whereas the human world is a lot more twisted and not as neat and tidy, so I have made the endings different to suit each setting.

Story so far (but I'm too lazy to start this far back):

After the Umakage was kidnapped by the Akatsuki, Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash were sent to the sand village to rescue him. When they arrive an old pony attacked Twilight, thinking her to be Twilight Velvet. The elder ends up being Granny Smith, an adviser of the Sand Village, and joined Team 7.

On the way, they are attacked by Spitfire. She was eventually defeated by Rainbow's new Ōdama Rasengan technique, but turned out to only be a body double. Team 7 met up with Team Mac outside the entrance to the Akatsuki hideout. However, the entrance was protected by a Five Seal Barrier, and that the 5 seals would have to be destroyed before they could enter. Team Mac split up and destroyed the other 4 seals.

Time was of the essence, so Team 7 decided to move in immediately. They prepared to remove the last seal.

A crossover of MLP and Naruto. If you aren't familiar with the Kazekage rescue arc, or haven't read it for a while, I'd recommend reading it again. It isn't necessarily required, but the story assumes you know who the characters are, and how the story progresses.

Slop and other creations I've made over the past two years or so. Creations that aren't shared can't be relevant, so I figured I'd share them. Even if they're unfinished, maybe the basis of these stories can entertain you for a little while. Normally, I'd leave them put aside and try to finish them, but considering my hobbies have changed (and amounts of free time have not), it's unlikely I'll ever get to doing so. But mayyyyyybe someday!

1st installment of the series

More than ten years after Princess Twilight had been coronated as Princess Equestria, Rainbow Dash thinks of a scheme for a devious, late April Fool's Day, prank. Spike, while a lot older, larger, and wiser, will be the susceptible victim of Rainbow Dash's plan. Antics ensue once Rainbow Dash gets her other friends in on her scheme.

This story has been revised since it was first uploaded. Revisions have been made to fix grammatical mistakes, to adjust some of the character dialogue, and to include additional details. Otherwise, the plot and themes of the story have remained the same.
