Ponyville is in a frenzy when a series of ruins are discovered in the Everfree Forest. But things are never as they seem in the forest, as somethings are best left forgotten. But when one of those things are awakened, usually it is a rude one. As this object is being awakened, fleeing soldiers forced to leave their home enters a new one, with major complications. Equestria in response attempts to cope with this sudden problem, on the brink of collapse as it is already under a diplomatic crisis.

Daybreaker, the Solar Empress of the Solar Empire of Equestria, had finally defeated the resistance that had vowed against her and had conquered their home. Yet she wants more land, more power, and more ponies under her rule. Fortunately for her, a major discovery might just grant that. As the two Equestrias clash, one question is uncertain:

Which side would win?

This story is going to be massive, involving many characters, villains, factions, and contains many tags. Many warnings will be toned down as much as possible for Teen. Humans are included in this story, although the tag will appear misplaced for this story. Finally, please take into consideration that this is my first 'true' story, what I mean is that it is my story where I am actually trying to write a decent story, and not like my other cringy stories. Feedback is highly recommended.

Hoofkuta is a remote and depressing city in the cold far north of Equestria. After the magic mining industry declined, the city's population started to go downhill. Many of the apartment buildings and even entire parts of the city are abandoned these days. Despite this, Hoofkuta still has a good amount of ponies that still live there, some still having hope for the future, but there also are some that believe that things will only get worse for this once glorious city. Especially the more recent changes and news are very polarizing among the locals. As dark and grey it may be there, the population of Hoofkuta is surprisingly colorful and mixed. It's time to meet the ponies that call this place their home.

This story is heavily inspired by the awesome album "S Krish Nashih Domov" from the band "Molchat Doma". You might understand this story a bit better if you know the album, its songs and their meaning, but you can still read the story without knowing the album.

Each chapter is inspired by one of the songs from the album and focuses on a specific character.

She lives, she works, she tries to be a good friend and a respectable citizen. But she is much more wounded than she has allowed herself to believe. A fleeting dream and a hazardous magical mishap will lead Tempest down a path that will take her to familiar places and the darkest reaches of Equestria. She must learn how to accept friendship into her heart, or succumb to the monster she used to be. Regret is a wound that cuts deep, and redemption might not be the strongest medicine.

Ever since that night, the world has fallen apart. Everyone hunts everyone, and evercreature is prey. Titans do battle in the skies above, and monsters roam the blackened earth. Ponies are prey, but do they have to be? Can they take back their world? Or is this just an untimely end?

The prologue takes place shortly after the Season One premiere but before the gala.
