That happens when a task was given to Twilight by Celestia. That task was 'Reforming Discord'. Twilight was freaked out she had kept asking 'why? why? why?' and obtain the same answer 'For future proposes'. With that said Princess Celestia flew towards her castle in Canterlot.
With all of them reunited, they decided it was time to free him from his stone prison.
With a 'boom' flash he was free from his prison. 'Ah, fresh air. So nice.' he said. He turned his gaze over to look at the place and saw them.
He decided to use his magic to hidden the elements but it was useless, they're protected by some kind of spell. He laughs when notice that they noticed what he was trying to do.
"Hm, so smart ponies you're. Protecting the elements." he said
"Keep it down, or we..."
"Turn me back to stone yeah, yeah. I might be imprisoned but I can still hear, you know." he said "And a plan to my reformation, pppffff. *gigs**laughs*"
"Stop laughing. You..." Twilight said
He snapped his fingers and zipped her mouth.
"So cute when you try to talk and nothing came out." he laugh while used his magic to make a little chaos around them. "Did you like it? It's a new look don't you think."
He stopped his talking when noticed something.
"Oh, so you're the one who's gonna to reform me isn't it?" discord asked. "Fluttershy, the element of kindness, really Twilight, a pony that can't even look at me without shacking." he said while letting a small laugh out.
"You, stop that right now. Or I'll..." Rainbow Dash said while charging at him.
He snapped his fingers creating a cotton candy wall in front of her. That made Rainbow Dash stop and trap her in cotton candy.
"That's not fair, you... you used magic." she said
"Hm, Discord. Could you be a dear and... and let her down? Please." Fluttershy asked
"HAHAHAHHA. You asking me such a thing..." he stopped his tracks when he stared at her. She was using her stare powers. "What are you doing? Pfft.*laugh* Don't look at me like that." he said "Did you really want to play that game? Fine." he look at her eyes. "It's on.". They trade stares. Fluttershy was nervous, because of his eyes, being that red, made her feel uncomfortable, fear. But she had an idea.
"Hm, you really have such a power, Discord. Could I let you win just this time?" she asked
"As always, the God of Chaos, win again." he said. "Now, Fluttershy, since you're the one who's gonna to reform me. That means..." he said while grabbing her.
"If you hurt her. I swear..." Rainbow dash said
"You broke my head I know, i know." he said. "Now if you excuses us. We have a meeting in Fluttershy's house." he said while snapped his fingers to teleport himself and Fluttershy to her house.
He dropped her on the floor.
"OW. Could you at least be a bit nicer, when dropping me?" she asked while she traded looks with him.
"Did you forget? I'm..." he said but was cut off by her words
"The God of Chaos. Yeah, yeah I already know."
"So how do we start? Books, lessons, picnics." he said
"What about? A trust quest. I'll go to buy some vegetables for my animals. Can I trust you to look over my house,while I'm out?" she asked while grabbed her basket and headed towards the exit door. "Can I trust you?"
He nodded and she closed her house door.
"Well this place really look a little*blek* 'unchaotic'. Maybe a little chaos won't hurt." he snapped his fingers and levitated every furniture in the room. He used his magic to summon a bowl of paper and started to eat it. "This paper,hmm. It tastes so nice. Obviously, they will sure don't need this."
Fluttershy was at the market when her friends came to meet her.
"Hi there, Fluttershy. Where's Discord?" Twilight asked.
"I left him on my house," she answered
"ALONE!!!" she yelled "You can't leave him alone like that."
"I'm giving him a little personal space. He needs it if I need to pass to next step."
"If you say so. Of course you're right, you know how animals feels. I'm not saying that he's a normal creature but still he's a creature." Twilight said.
With her vegetables brought, she trotted back to her house together with her friends.
When they arrived, Fluttershy house was flying, like a bird.
"It's this what you like to call 'his personal space'."
"Oh. Let me talk to him will you?"
Discord was laughing enjoying his funny chaotic time when he heard the main door opened.
"What's going on here?" she asked
"Isn't it funny, a like chaos around here won't hurt, right?"
"I trusted you would keep this place normal, that you won't use your chaotic magic." she answered
"As I told you I'm..."
"STOP WITH THAT ALRIGHT!" she yelled "I've heard enough of that. I'm tired of hearing that. Just don't." she said "Look, Discord. What I'm asking to you is just... stop using your magic like this? I can't let you being turned to stone again." she said
"Why do you care?" Discord asked "I..."
"STOP" she yelled. "Even know what you're capable of doing, you still a creature for Celestia's sake. It pains me that I had to imprison a creature." she said.
"Fluttershy, What do you mean?" he asked
"You're a living thing Discord. Even what've done in the past. I can't let that happen to you. You just a little creature, unable to control his power." she answered.
"Do you care for me? I mean, after what I did to you?" he asked
She nodded. "Princesses and the others can't see what I can see Discord. You just need to be trusted. And with that trust, you'll be reformed. Just don't use your powers to make it possible, alright." she said.
He nodded.
"Could you be a gentle and put my house back in the place?" she asked kindly.
He nodded and with a snap of his fingers her house was back on the ground.
Fluttershy got out of her house and meet her friends.
"See, I told you 'personal space'." she said. "Now, if you excuse me. I need to get back to our lessons. Had a good day." she closed her house door.
She turned around and saw Discord sitting on a chair near a tea table.
"What are you doing, Discord?" she asked
"I kinda know, how you like a tea party." he said "So I just prepared something cute for us. Di you like it?"
"It's cute, beautiful." she said
"See,my magic can be useful. You just need to trust me, like you said."he said
Some days past and Fluttershy was capable of controlling Discord magic. Controlling here is not the right work but she could tell that he was using his magic for good things.
They're seating on the grass. Discord was using his magic to create little bugs.
"*gigs* I like when you use this kind of magic to make these little cute bugs.*gigs*" she said
They shared laughs. But something was not right, something in Discord, wasn't right.

"Come on, Discord. She's controlling you. Can't you see." it said
"What are you talking about, she's not controlling? She trusts me." he said
"Like she did." it said "Remember. What was her name? Celestia was it" it asked "YOU STILL REMEMBER HER, RIGHT." it said "She impression you...us. She betrayed your trust, she made your turn into stone."
"Fluttershy is not..." he tried to say but was stopped when 'it' spoke
"Equal?" it asked "Exactly they're equal, they're ponies. Ponies hated your true power, because they feared you."
"But she didn't fear me. Did she?" he asked
"She's controlling, you fool. She doesn't trust you, she's like HER." it said
"No, she's not. I can prove it."
"Then do it, prove it." it said

"Hmm, Fluttershy... May I ask you something?" he asked
"What is it?" she answered
"Did you trust me?" he asked
"Of course, I trust you."
"Can you let me cast some spell?" he asked
"What kind of spell? It will hurt somepony." she said
"I promise, that will not hurt anypony. Can I?" he asked
She nodded.
He snapped his fingers. Because he was full in control of his chaos magic, he ended up conjuring a ursa minor, that headed towards ponyville. Fluttershy looked at that creature running towards the city.
"I told you to not use that magic." she said
"Sorry. I'm not in full control of my magic because I've using it for good. Forgive me I can revert it."
"You can't."
"What?"
"Look, you're gonna put them in danger." she pointed to the ursa minor. "I was wrong about you, Discord. Twilight was right when she told me that you can't be reform...reform.... I can't use...it" she said while runned away from him.
He then snapped his fingers making the ursa minor to disappear. And tried to follow Fluttershy. "Fluttershy wait. Let me explain".
While being distracted of 'how fool she was? believing that she could turn him good.' , she ended up getting on the Everfree Forest. She reached one of the trees and stopped
'How did I get here?' she thought. Suddenly, she heard loud steeps coming from behind of her. When she looked back, she saw it.
"Oh. Well what do we have here? A meal" it asked
"A dragon. Stay away from..." she said. "Let me off, you mons....monster." she said while being grabbed by her tail.
"Oh, come on. You walk towards my territory, and don't expect me to treat you like a princess, would I?" it asked "Well, when was the last time that I ate meat? Well, that doesn't matter now. I will get back to that taste." it said, while he opened his mouth showing her the sharp fangs.
"You better let her go." something said hidden in the shadows.
"What? Show yourself." it said
Discord got out of his spot.
"Pff, A draconequss. My dear friends if is a meal that you're asking for, try capturing another, this already is mine." it said
"I'll warn you again. PUT HER DOWN." he said
"Oh come on, did I tell that..."
Suddenly a magical fireball was shot by Discord. The dragon dodges it and looked and him.
"Because this time. I'M NOT ASKING." he said, while his eyes were becoming red.
"Dragon Fight. For a meal. With you. Fine." it said.
It dropped Fluttershy on the grass.
They started to fight. Fireballs, fire breaths, and magical things were the main thing that battle was based of. Suddenly, Discord used his magical teleportation and got behind it.
"Why don't you try to be a prey, little one?" he asked while snapping his fingers that turned the dragon into a mouse.
Discord then moved towards her.
"Get..." she tried to said, but realized that he didn't want to hurt her.
"Look, Fluttershy. I'm sorry I...I... kinda get out of my control. I was excited to show you a new spell that I ended up casting that thing. I'm sorry." he said.
When he noticed that blood was...
"Fluttershy, did he hurt you?" he asked
"No, it was the branches. It's okay. Just a little reward for my..." she tried to said but was stopped by his claw.
"Don't you dare to call you such a thing will you? The one who should be called that name is me." he said, while making her laugh, he ended up laughing too. "Let me heal you."
She nodded. When she felt his magic in her body, she felt it healing her recent cuts. She know that's time to show that... he changed. He cared for her. Obvious, she was his only friend.
"There you go. Healed up." he said while looking at her. "There's no need to thank me. I..."
He then felt a hug on him. When he noticed she was hugging him.
"I'm sorry, for..." she said
"It's ok. At least you're ok."he said
"Wait, where's it?" she asked
"I conjure him back to it came from." he said
"Did he attacked the city?" she asked
"I don't know. If he ended up attacking it."he said
Suddenly Fluttershy noticed a familiar presence behind Discord.
"Girls, what are you doing here?" she asked
"Discord. We should know. That Ursa minor appearing out of nowhere, attacking the city, destroying the houses. It was you isn't it?" Twilight asked
"What are you talking about? I send it back."
"You just make it worst." she pointed to Ponyville, so he could saw what he did. He ended up duplicating it, instead of sending it away.
"It was my fault, Twilight." Fluttershy said "I told him that he could use his 'natural' magic. Please don't do anything to him."
"He casts a spell on you, just to make you said it, doesn't he?" she asked
"He didn't. He just casting magic to make me laugh and happy. Please Twilight just for this once, could you let it past?" she asked
"I'm sorry, Fluttershy. But HE CONJURED A URSA MINOR... I mean HE DUPLICATED IT." she said.
"It's ok, Fluttershy. I deserve it. I just." he said, while grabbing Fluttershy and hugging her. "Just don't make her feel alone, will you?" he begged
Twilight nodded and give Fluttershy her Element.
'No, I can't he...I...' she thought to herself.
"Now girls get ready"Twilight said
"NO!!" Fluttershy said, while ripping her element from her neck. She rushed to the river. "Get away, or this... this will... well you'll never see it again." she said
"Fluttershy, what are you doing?" Discord asked
"They'll take you away... from...me." she answered while tears formed on her eyes.
"WHAT?" Discord asked
"Fluttershy, we need that. Just don't do anything to that, Please." Twilight said. "Without it we can't turn..."
"Don't say it. If I heard to word stone again I will throw it. I swear."
"Fluttershy. Please, give me that." she said
"Stay away from us, Twilight. If you want your precious Element of Kindness." she said
Discord got his claw up, telling to Twilight to calm down.
"Let me handle this." he whispered to her. He then walked towards Fluttershy. "Fluttershy. What's going on?" he asked
"They want you to go away. I can't let them. I...I..." she said
"And blackmail them with such a thing. Did you think that is a kind act?" he asked. She gasped and looked at him. "Look, Fluttershy, you're the Element of Kindness. Not the Element of Blackmail, are you?" he asked. She shakes her head to a 'no'. "Tell. What's going on?" he asked, while he levitated her so he could embrace her.
"They want to go us apart." she answered. "Did you think... it's easy for me... to live without anypony to make me laugh and happy all over this years?" she asked. He shaked his head to a 'no'. "Well, Discord. It's you. You bring that feel to me again. I know what you did in the past, but... I can't lose you. I'll be alone forever again."
"But, you've your friends, Fluttershy. Why you would care for...?"
"Because you're my friend. The one who understands me, the one who really knows how to make me laugh and happy."
"And did you think that blackmail them, would save me?" he asked "Come on, Flutteshy. You're not like me, are you? Blackmail is my job. Don't worry Fluttershy. Just think this is a long goodbye just that."
He hugged her, she didn't hesitate in accepting it. While he was embracing her, he saw that 'thing'. THE ELEMENT OF KINDNESS. He looked at how that thing could be dangerous to him.

"Destroy it. Without it. You can be whatever you want." 'it' said
"I can't. I can't... that kind of act will hurt her." he said
"YES YOU CAN, JUST CAST THE SPELL." it said

With a snap of his fingers the Element of Kindness vanished from Fluttershy hoof and appeared over Twilight hooves.
"Just don't make me regret it" he said.

When she felt him let her go, she openned her eyes and felt nothing on her hoove.
"Where's it? Where's my Element?" she asked
She desperately looked for it, when she realized that Twilight was showing a smile and she showed her The Element.
"How?" she asked, then something clinked in her mind. "You. How could you? You used me to give her back the Element, she'll turn you to...to... stone." she said
"Hey, Is not that bad you could visit me whatever you want." he said
"Are you ok, Discord? She has the Six Elements now. She'll turn you to..." she said "Twilight, please. Don't do that. I can... I can do whatever you want. Just..."
"WOWOWOWOWO. Hold your*gigs*horses. I just saw how. How did you gain his trust? I mean..."
"Just make him feel free. As I said 'personal space'". she said
"Discord. I know what you did. But, I saw how you and Fluttershy are connected. And besides, you could have destroyed this. But instead, you gave it back to me. Why? Are you giving up your freedom?" Twilight asked
"Where's the fun of that? Did you really think that I would do such a thing? To hurt her. Never. She taught me who this 'Friendship works'." he said.
Given to the recent disasters, Discord was sentenced to community work. So he could repay his freedom. He couldn't believe it. HE HAD BECAME TRUSTED BY PONIES.
