Gallus and Silverstream have settled into newly wed life, and couldn't be happier living in Equestria together. That is, until they learn of some truly shocking news: Queen Novo has died!

With her cousin Skystar due to ascend to the throne, Silverstream immediately begins making plans to return to Mount Aris to be there for her grieving cousin. Not wanting to let his wife go alone, Gallus pleads with Princess Twilight to be allowed to accompany Silverstream back home.

When Princess Twilight gives her blessings, Gallus prepares to return to a place he has little familiarity with. But nothing will stop him from being there for his wife, as she and her extended family join all of Mount Aris and Seaquestria in mourning the passing of their queen.

It's Summer vacation and while enjoying the day on the beach the rainbooms find themselves turned into mermaids. I bumped it to the teen rating because of Chapter 6.

For well over a thousand years, now, they had been cast out, forced into a depressing life of solitude among only one another... which, given everything, did not make circumstances any more bearable, for them, most times.

No. No, they weren't cast out. Banished! They were imprisoned! Sealed away by that accursed Wizard and his lackies of five doing his bidding, as always! Their symphony had been perfect, a melody so harmonic and soothing it made only sense to keep listening. Their triumphant crescendo was upon Equestria, the final act in their grand serenade.

But that finale never came. Their final act... it was not to be. Or, so they thought.

Mortals were a curious bunch, in the end. Useless, petty and pathetic as one may call them, but they got a lot done in what little time they had for themselves. A new world, as it were, far different from the one the three of them had last seen, before the light of day was taken away from them in exchange for a dark prison so deep beneath the waves.

But one thing they all knew, to varying degrees: mortals were curious. And curiosity, be it as it were, would be the only thing they needed for their curtain call. The setting of the stage for a new, second act.

The Abyss calls.

This Story takes place in the Alternate Universe of Equestria at War. EaW uses a custom world map including 3 separate continents, and a 'modern' world setting equal to World War 2 (in most places). Consider trying out the mod for Hearts of Iron IV yourself, or check out the Fimfiction group and check out more stories about it.

For the purpose of this story, it's noteworthy that the Sirens were NOT banished to the EQG universe when Starswirl banished them, but were instead sealed away deep under the ocean.

Captain Celaeno and her crew are heading home to Ornithia. They’re bringing Queen Novo and Princess Skystar along with them as it seems the royal mother and daughter seem to have been a similar situation that the home of the Avians are in.

Cobalt Coral, a hippogriff thief, and her earth pony friend, Cornfield, obtained the Mind of Water. However, this came at a heavy cost with the Hippogriff species nearly being wiped out. Lord Whirlwind and his Storm Creature army now set sights on the Eye of Fire, and intend to sow more chaos to obtain it. Coral and Cornfield need to race against their might to obtain it first, unaware that powerful new allies are starting to stir.

Queen Novo does not forgive or forget easily. When her niece seemed to prefer a school in the middle of a continent run by a would-be thief to Mount Aris, that didn't sit well with her.

The good news is that Twilight's managed to resolve that situation already.

The bad news is that there's another coming down the pike.

Twilight, Starlight and Trixie got an amazing idea for a fun game. It's called Creaturehunt. There are two roles: The Speedrunner and the Hunters. This story is based on Dream's Minecraft Manhunt series, but here it's a bit different...

AppleLauda needs to defeat Ember in a arm wrestling match whilst he's getting hunted down by his friends. If he gets tackled over, he loses. If AppleLauda beats Ember in an arm wrestling match, he wins. AppleLauda gets 3 attempts to beat Ember. If he loses all 3 matches, the Hunters win automatically.

A few days have passed since the defeat of the Storm King. And to celebrate the occasion, Queen Novo invites Twilight Sparkle, her friends and the princesses to a party at their kingdom on Mount Aris. Despite Twilight's hesitation, she agrees to come along after hearing some encouraging words from her friends.

After arriving at Mount Aris however, they quickly learn that Queen Novo's daughter, Princess Skystar, has gone missing. Twilight promises Queen Novo that she, the princesses and the rest of her friends will find Princess Skystar at all cost, but they'll slowly discover that something far bigger might be at stake.

(This story will mostly take place in the movie's universe, but will also include some things from the show as well)
